I'm a fairly good player (see Pasta's Online Dynasty) who is staring his own Dynasty and looking for dependable and dedicated players who would like to join. I was trying to wait on a couple of my buddies from college but they are having trouble with passing the MTU test on campus....the show must go on.

I have some slots open in my Dynasty and if you would like to join then leave your Gamertag and I will send you an invite later on today. We are going to play on Heisman and sliders are TBD but will probably not change "drastically"


There are some fairly good players assembled and we will be playing MULTIPLE seasons with good competition. There will be no Forum for the League on here as I am dedicated to my Clemson team in Pasta's Dynasty but you may feel free to chart the league and team's progression if you would like.

I'm very good about corresponding and my league will be moving at a steady pace and I will replace those who cheese, hold the league up without a viable reason, restart games...etc. We will probably only play 1 or 2 User vs. User games because from my experience with Pasta's; people coordinating schedules can hinder progression ( And Pasta's has been going pretty well and that's attributed to having a forum) but it also places more importance on the User vs. User games.

The SEC has three teams because Georgia & LSU have been added. Every other conference is pretty much wide open....feel free to pick from whatever team you want that's available

well...i went to Mizzou..but that's already taken...and i prefer to play in a conference that has a championship game...so if you want another conference with 3 teams (same as the SEC) then you can have me be Oklahoma or Texas...but if someone else chooses a Big 12 team...then throw me into the only other big conference with a championship game (ACC)...i could be Clemson or Florida State...i'm pretty open to make the league not too clustered in one conference...

I havent decided if I am going to add any more teams because Ive been disappointed with a couple teams participation but we will see...I probably will look to add some teams in a week or so....I'd like to finish out the 1st season so the new owners will have a fresh slate....but here are the teams that are in the Dynasty....

To tell you the truth I traded it in after losing to Georgia I have a anger problem you could say when I get mad at a game. I've gone through 4 26"+ LCD HD TVs in the last year and 3 controllers so I do get rather pissed about losing. Hey Tunes522 do you want to play a game of FIFA 09 sometime? I knoticed you playing the game and I have to say out of the EA games, its probaly the best I've played along with NHL 09(R.I.P, disc read error message). The Be A Pro has to be the best game mode of all the EA games along with the NHL 09 Be A Pro.

just a head's up. my availability will be dicey for the next week. I have just finished a round of finals...so I will be away Friday night-Monday afternoon. Then I'll probably be away Tuesday-Sunday.

So, I can get some games in any time from today (Thurs) or Friday (before 5:00 est). Then Monday 11/10 (before about 5-6:00 est). Then probably not again until the 16th.

Then again - this is all contingent on me having my xbox with me or not. If I bring my xbox with me, I'll be fine.

To Tunes: Clemson is one of my other Dynasty teams as you may well know...so it's no secret that you have a very strong Defense. I believe that will be the test right there...whose Defense steps up and makes the key stops because Cooper will not be back in time for the ACC Championship...I checked...and I feel so-so about my Offense without him against a Clemson D that flies all over the field. It should be interesting....can't wait til next season when we streamline and get the players we want in our systems

next year will be the true test for me...i have probably the easiest job in the dynasty right now with the luxury i have at the runningback position...of course both of my studs will be gone next year...that's a little disappointing...and i will lost my top receiver and defender for sure...still shooting for that top recruiting class...but things aren't looking as rosy as they once were for me...it would seem that other schools are closing in quickly on most of my top recruits...

yeah it was a pretty good game...due to time constraints i was going for the win, rather than the tie, with about 30 seconds left and under threw my receiver in one on one coverage on what i thought would be the game sealing TD pass...great game though...i got off to an early lead...Azure fought back and took a couple touchdown lead before i recovered in the fourth quarter with a chance to win it on the final drive...we'll meet again next year...hell, i think we will probably have two games next year...that should be a nice test...now, if we could hurry and finish this offseason so i can get my recruits on the field....the race for the #1 recrtuiting class is on...not to toot my own horn, but i'm feeling like i might be the favorite to land that....

Yeah...I'm going to keep it frequent for those Dynasty owners that frequent this site...I would love to do an actual thread for each time and do a site but my job has picked up tremendously and I don't have time to do the updates and I wouldn't do it if I couldn't do it right..hell I can't even update my thread for Pastas Dynasty like I want to..but yeah I'm gonna try and keep people updated through here..at least we have a couple users who can discuss what's going on...I like the competition in the Dynasty and know that things will get even better as we progress.....

Tonight is the night where our First Dynasty Champion will be crowned....whether it's Georgia or Miami...a Champ will be decided. Congratulations to Georgia...Our First Season Dynasty Champ...he won a hard fought game over Miami where the Canes turned the ball over too many times for scores and couldn't recover...Final score 38 to 20. Week 1 of Off Season recruiting is Now open...I simulated through Players Leaving and Transfer requests because we can't affect those decisions because of a glitch in the Dynasties...We will be advancing the Off Season EVERY night at 8pm CST unless I'm not at home or before then if everyone finishes up early. Turnovers converted into points are what killed me and not enough playmakers on the Offensive side f the ball...but that will change in the upcoming seasons...but it came down to me turning over the ball..I had a rough coupke of days on NCAA...ill pick up the slack and do better but I'm mad because I shot m,yself in the foot in both PvP games I played....but I learned from the losses

I moved up from the #10 class to #4. I don't think I can catch you, Tunes, but I'm trying to get to #2.

I'm cautious because my Secondary is going to be sweet (2 top 10 CBs and the #7 FS), but my offense might be hurting. Hopefully, I can repeat as the #1 D in the nation.

yeah...honestly...i didnt have as many majors holes to feel as i thought i would...i nailed some RBs...and some futures stud QBs (might even start a frosh this year)...most of my recruits are really luxury picks...though next year i really need to start rebuilding my o-line and finding a solid DT or two...

as far as schedules go...i would hope that all of our non-conference games are against ranked teams, user teams, or non-conference rivalry games...maybe the national champion should have to play a few more on the road...i just like a challenge...

actually..i have 4 different online dynasties and no Big 12 teams....haha...one MAC, 2 ACCs, and a Big Ten (my LEAST favorite conference)...

i'm stoked for next season...ready to get my boys on the field...

Hey Keller...you have a Free Safety who is coming in next year who is a BEAST....99 Speed if I recall right...I saved the Dynasty Offline to see what my recruits looked like and I have a WR who is going to be a tremendous help to my Offense...just the threat I was looking for...I just remember seeing that Free Safety with 99 speed and thought..WOW...thats gonna be an impact Freshman...I mocked up a schedule and the way I was setting up games...Ohio State vs. Miami was the first BIG game in week 2...but we will see how everything shakes out....Definitely excited to get underway though

Yeah...and that game has a little history to it from the Overtime National Championship years back...so I might go ahead and set that game in stone...I'm going to make everybody's schedule as fair as I can but I know there won't be anyone just walking into the National Championship next year....if you get there...you would have EARNED it big time...

i'm all about a tougher schedule...as long as the CPU teams don't benefit too greatly from it...i'd hate to see a CPU vs CPU national championship...though with us spread out enough throughout the major conferences i don't see that happening...though it could be a possibility with solid teams form the Big Ten or Pac 10 who don't necessarily play eachother every year and don't have a conference championship...

Yeah I feel like I have to defend myself for that Minnesota game. Basically I went up 28-0 in the first quarter and so I was like meh I'll supersim it and go make me a sandwich... its minnesota. Thanks for the kudos....I like taking teams on the "cusp" and making them GREAT. I was satisfied with making it to the Title game because I started the season Unranked and this is by far my worst Online Dynasty team...so I have great room for improvement...but once my roster gets ridiculously talented and I am satisfied; I am going to move on to another team...Probably a small school and build it up...It will be hard competing with th big guns but it will keep my Dynasty experience fresh....but First things First! MIAMI!!!!

Oh yeah Tunes...I was thoroughly satisfied with my Defensive performance...but that is consistent in all my Dynasties because I am a Defensive oriented guy...Id much rather win the game making plays on Defense than to have my Offense Top Notch...As long as I can get some pressure up front...I will make plays in the secondary because that's how it goes...a great Front Four makes a spectacular back 7...Give me a great overall defense & a couple playmakers and ballhawks over a spectacular Offense anyday

I wouldn't say I have elite speed on both sides of the ball, I lacked speed at the WR position this year but I'm bringing in a couple froshies that will be out there to help stretch the field. I do have some speed at RB which is nice but Saine is WAY WAY overrated... that kid is a track athelete not a football player. He needs to convert to WR irl but in the game... shoot I have no problem lining him up in the backfield and getting him out on the edges and making plays lol. I will have some speed in the secondary hopefully however. Tunes 19 4stars is kinda ridiculous, I hope you get some NCAA sanctions brought on if you know what I mean, lol. Azure I'm with you for changing teams at some point if we ever make it that far. I wouldn't mind taking a team like Western Kentucky or something like that and seeing how far I could take them. We would have to be pretty far in and have a good core group of guys if I were going to make that undertaking though. Good luck this year to all you guys.

i love playing with small schools...especially when i get to knock off juggernauts...i have a one-star dynasty...i play as temple...undefeated through 3 seasons...unfortunately, i've gotten hosed out of playing in the national championship the first two years (damn BCS)...but i actually have a national championship game coming up this weekend against san jose state...should be sweet...and did i mention that three of the top four heisman finalists are my sophomore runningback and sophomore WR as well as my freshman QB...

wish we had a few more people in the OD though...it sure would be a lot more fun to have some rivalries and a little bit of friendly banter...unfortunately, if you lose even one game as a small school, your title hopes are pretty much impossible (or thoughts of playing in a BCS game for that matter)...

That definitely was not my best game. Cost myself two tds inside the 5yard line and my qb was gone for two quarters. However, my defense stepped up to the challenge and did a fantastic job of limiting eastern Michigan to any touchdowns. It is only one game and there are plenty more to come.

Yeah Azure really got robbed early on in that game. He kicked to me and I went down and scored right off the bat. Then on his first possession after maybe one or two first downs he got sacked while rolling right and coughed one up inside his 35 or so. He went down basically 14-0 early but came back and made it 17-10 at the half if I'm not mistaken. I think he got the ball and threw a pick down in my redzone but I turned right back around and threw one back to him. I think the game really changed after that because he punted and my superfrosh FS took the punt to the house to go up 24-10 and he never could recover from there playing down so much. It was a good game and I know Azure is better he just kinda got robbed early. I'll be looking to stay on top going forward.

The whole not reporting thing should be interesting... I had a problem with that before and I literally had to leave the game sit for an hour and try again to get it to work. It was a pain in the ass but it did eventually report.

On another note... Azure, are we making any side plans for people going out of town for the holiday? I for one will be out of town and away from my xbox, I can go to a friends but I cant guarantee I'll get anything done. I know you like to move quickly but its the holidays... how do you wanna do it?

nice rebound...i almost had a letdown...i was toying around with a new offense...and i didn't really take maryland seriously as a threat...but after they destroyed my running game (17 carries for 16 yards)...and i failed on some key 4th and inches deep in terrapin territory (including a 4th and inches on the goal line where i was manhandled), the game became scarily close...it didn't help that maryland converted two key 4th downs that led to scores as well...

seriously...i tried three different runningbacks...and two different qbs to get my running game jumpstarted, but maryland simply wasn't having any of it...probably the worst rushing game for me in the history of digital football...the truth of it is, i'm really not liking anyone in my backfield this year...though, getting boston college at home next week should spark my running game again...nevertheless, i'm definitely looking forward to a couple of blazers i'm hoping to bring in for next year...

Yeah Tunes...I had a really slow start to my game and getting adjusted to the new players on the field...especially the lack of blocking on the O-line but my team seemed to wake up once we were down 10-0....I guess they didn't like that feeling and remembered what happens when u dig yourselves too big of holes early in the game....Needles to say....It was a good ride back to South FL from Austin...I think the ACC will be in the hunt for the Championship EACH year...

Game of the year might be Ohio State vs. Penn State. But watch out for Michigan - Penn State and Michigan - Ohio State.....but only if Michigan can keep racking up 300 yard rushing performances.

Overall - the Trojan train keeps rolling along.

(awful day for me in XLence's league.....got destroyed by Texas (XLence) and then lost to the computer OK State....it's a much different experience from this league)

Yeah, I never heard of that either. It definately sounds fishy! I hate quitters as well. I lost to Texas Tech last season, but I took it like a man (I was pissed though).

So, he played the game again, and lost again....I think we embarrassed him into not quitting again, lol... I can't beleive he did that. I'll definately be watching that dude. Must be so used to winning, he went into shock.

oh definately. Florida can even get back in by winning out, since he runs the gaunlet at the end of the season against 3 of the top 4 teams, and anything can happen in between. I think its all made possible in scheduling games which can impact the season from week to week. at least amongst the human players.
