BEEF!!!!
Here is my first complaint about Madden after playing it today. Well 1 complaint (big one though) and one compliment.
First off EFFING Superstar mode is what I play. I am ready to sink my teeth into it and so I bust it out at lunch today and load up my 2 different QBs from NCAA. Well each QB did well, not equally well but well, they were both 99 overall at the end of their college careers. One started for Arkansas as a pocket passer and won the heisman his senior year as well as leading the team to some nice bowl games and shattering every school record and a couple of NCAA ones including career passing. The other was an option qb from Miami that won the Heisman his freshman year, 2 Natl Championships, and an Orange Bowl and Champs Sports bowl as well. I run the Combine and Individual workouts with each and I had already put together a list of teams that my guys could go to, since it makes you an automatic starter I didnt want some sillyness like having Peyton or Tom Brady benched. With my qb from Arkansas I was drafted by the Redskins in the 5th!!!! round at 80 overall. WTF!!! this guy was a college stud. With my scrambling dog fighting qb I was selected in the 3rd round by the Chiefs with a 90 overall rating. -_-
To put that in perspective, Calvin Johnson is the highest rated rookie in this years game at 87. So that kind of pissed me off with how cheestastic it is.
The plus side... the game is really amazing so far. The camera angles in Superstar are kinda rough and will take some learning but so far I am loving the game. Just hate that I have such a jump on the game with my Superstar :/
Also the Chiefs are probably my least favorite team in the NFL and I got drafted to them first so I didnt restart and redo the draft since they were on the list of available teams I made.
