I'm going to pick it up..

I'm debating whether to get this or Left 4 Dead.

Its a pretty good game, haven't played online much, and haven't tried co-op at all, but the single players nice if you like WWII games. To me it feels/plays more like COD4 than COD3. Overall good game. Dont have Left 4 dead, but played the Demo and it was pretty damn fun.

I didn't play much multiplayer since by the time I got it everyone was too dam good, but the single player rocked. It feels like you're watching a movie while playing the game because of how the levels are setup.

Nazi Zombies is a lot of fun. I've managed to reach level 18.

I didn't play much multiplayer since by the time I got it everyone was too dam good

WAW actually has a playlist for beginners. Its just team death match but only people ranking levels 1-8 on their first time through can enter. You can play longer if you don't leave the lobby after you reach lvl 8.

I've been planning on getting this game since its release, but seeing how I'm poor...

But I played the multiplayer at a friends house, and now I have to get it pronto, it was a lot of fun. But yeah, its more like COD4: World at War than anything else.

I got WaW. Online is really fun. I love how they added war and capture the flag. I'm gonna get left 4 dead because it seems like some fun playing with other folks.

I beat this over the weekend. It's a pretty good game, and the pacific island stuff actually felt like a new take on the WW2 genre. I loved the flamethrower levels, and I liked the grittiness of the whole thing.

I don't really need to storm Berlin as the Russians ever again though, those missions are almost exactly the same as some other version of COD.. maybe 2?

If anybody's getting frustrated with Tanks in multi...

The weakest points are the backside and the underbelly.

1 Satchel on the ground will destroy a tank that goes over it.

Also, 2 Satchels & a Sticky on the backside will destroy it. Just place the two satchels and let the sticky detonate them.

Bazooka's are useless. I don't even use regular grenades anymore, Stickies are in all of my classes.

yeah i agree, but if you also have the PTRS sniper you can shoot off the tread (wheels) covers and if you put a sticky right on the exposed tread it will blow up immediately. i still think they shouldn't have tanks in hardcore deathmatch mode though, boring as hell when your trying to snipe and you dont carry around satchels.

The team has been very quiet regarding details of our DLC until now, and we're so excited to let this content loose. I haven't put World at War in my PS3 for a while. Been playing a lot of Fallout 3, Madden, NCAA and Call of Duty 4.

Anybody decent at this game add me to your friends list. This is the only game I play right now, just straight Headquarters, and I've gotten to the point where I win about 90% of the time I play... and I'm playing by myself. If I could just get one more person who plays the game how it's supposed to (meaning you actually try to capture the HQ) it'd be lethal.

Yeah, playing with a friends still has a looong way to go to catch up to the 360... probably not going to happen this generation.

2.65 K/D = damn good. I'm only at something like 1.7, but I'm always playing headquarters, and I'm always the guy capturing the damn things, while everyone else worries about their kills, lol.

February 11, 2009 - During its fourth quarter financial conference call on Wednesday, Activision Blizzard revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is due out this holiday season. This is the project that Infinity Ward has been working on, and it sounds like a direct sequel to its 2007 blockbuster hit.

Last year's Call of Duty: World at War, which was developed by Treyarch, was one of the year's biggest selling games, and helped in Activision's better-than-expected profits in the fourth quarter. This is in sharp contrast to the losses reported by the company's competitors.

I'm okay at it, not that great, have my good moments at times. Went 32-3 in a team deathmatch yesterday somehow I couldn't believe it myself.
