Real Rookies in Superstar mode

I just got the game tonight and figured I'd start up as Tony Hunt (3rd round draft choice RB for the Eagles) in superstar mode. Go through the pre-season noticing I'm (rated 74 i believe) first on the depth chart ahead of Westbrook. I assumed it was just b/c of the preseason, but when the reg season started, i was starting all the games ahead of a 94 rated RB. Did the "prove yourself" aspect of NCAA not carry over to Madden? Will I always start no matter which "real" rookie I choose?

yeah as far as I've noticed you're automatically the starter in Superstar. You can't even move yourself down on the depth chart if you wanted to which is kinda lame.

Yea that is. I don't know why they didn't take some of the ideas from NCAA. I've been playing it on the ps3 and its a blast. I rented Madden for it and I can tell already the 360 version is going to be better. My freaking 360 better get here soon.
