So with the new forum, I figured I'd start a new tradition. I can't take credit for thinking of it, this is something we do at the SomethingAwful forum.
In it, write something to your favorite team, or different players/coaches whatever. Basically, just express how you felt with their performance for that particular week.
Dear Packers,
This is probably the worst I've felt after a game all year. So thanks for that.
Dear Packers Defense,
This includes you Bob Sanders (DC), you guys are awful. Like... really bad. So bad that you let David Garrard, with pretty much no WRs, just torch you all game long. The only times you guys got a stop was when the Jags committed penalties that backed themselves up. A few of you are amazing, but as a unit, you guys are awful and likely the worst defense in the league since week 9.
Dear Rodgers,
I really like you, one of your biggest fans, and I know that our O-line is awful and you rarely have much of a points-cushion at all because of our defense, but you've got to be careful with the ball, even if you're just trying to make something happen in the closing seconds of the game. I have faith in you and I think you can lead us to a lot of winning seasons, it's just been one of those years, so keep your head up and don't get discouraged. You, Jennings and Driver are the only reason we've scored any points.

Dear Matt Ryan:
I know you're actually Jesus, the Son of God. Although I'm probably being selfish and thinking more in the now, instead of the long run; but thank you for putting of any of that salvation nonsense to play quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons.

Dear Offense,
Apart from two big plays, you guys played like shit today. Kudos for another turnover-less game.
Dear Defense,
You guys damn near gave me a heart attack today. How about from now on, you play well wherever you are on the field. Not just the redzone. Great job at preventing opposing teams from getting in the endzone the past three weeks, though. Smashing.
Dear Davone Bess,
You rock.
Dear Ronnie Brown,
You also rock. Do something to get the ball more. Because you rock.

Dear Coach Fisher,
I'm sorry my four field goals today, one of which was from 51 yards, 60 yarder a few years back to beat the Colts, and 8 field goals in this stadium last year weren't enough to convince you. I guess the odds on Kerry Collins, who was 15/33 on the day, completing a pass deep down field were better than me hitting the 49 yard field goal. And hey, maybe if we had kicked the field goal and made the Texans throw it on the their last drive instead of run the clock out, Albert Haynesworth wouldn't have gotten hurt. But who really cares about that?
Love,
Rob Bironas

Dear Chicago,
Thank you for blowing the Carolina, Tampa Bay and Atlanta games. As we would be in the playoffs if we hadnt. On a side note, thanks for the good memories this year and hope they carry into next year. I think we got something to build on with Orton, Forte, Olsen and Hester.
Love,

Dear Minnesota,
I am thrilled with the way you guys played in Arizona, and I'm glad you are proving your a team to be reckoned with. I loved how you fed off of that early Bernard Berrian punt return, and how you never looked back. When you had plays such as this earlier in the year, like the Colts game, you would usually let your opponent back in the game. This time, however, you took the lead and continued to murder the helpless Cardinals. Thank you for showing the will to win, and lets hope you guys keep this train rollin.
P.S. Go Tarvaris!!

Dear Brett Favre,
Thank you for doing nothing spectacular all season long and riding on the coattails of our O-Line and a newly invigorated Thomas Jones (i cant believe i just said that). Thanks for costing us a 3rd round pick to throw 21 TDs to 17 INTs. Thanks for proving what I said in the beginning of the year that Dustin Keller and our new O-Line was the reason to get excited about this season, not Favre. But hey Brett, think of it this way: for every time that you throw a long bomb that's intercepted, that's something that you meant to do. It's like mercy from us showing the other team that we basically like punting on 2nd and 3rd downs, why wait for 4th? We love for the game to cause Jets fans everywhere heart attacks. Merry Christmas, Brett.

Dear Gilbride
You are a complete boob. Why would you continue to have Eli do 5 and 7 step drops when the pass rush was in his ass all game? WHY? Why not run screens, draws, slants, dumpoffs, and stretch plays? The cowboys defense is a big and stout defense, why not get them moving laterally to tire them out? Take advantage of the speed we have. Maybe a stretch play to bradshaw? You are an imbecile. Oh, you can still run the ball when you are down 7 -3. Just thought I would remind you.

BUT BRETT FAVRE JUST WINS GAMES. His intangibles lift up everyone on that team and make them play better, even the defense and special teams, despite the fact that Favre doesn't play with those guys.
I hope you guys make the playoffs though, we could really use that 2nd round pick. I don't claim to know the most about Mangini, but him and that whole organization seem more content with letting Favre be Favre, rather than trying to get on his ass and make him play right. Favre's best years have come when he has a coach that's not afraid to kick his ass. (i.e Holmgren and McCarthy) During the years we had Mike Sherman we still had a good team left over from the Holmgren/Wolf era, but Sherman let Favre play however he wanted and we lost a lot of games, a lot of playoff games because of it.
This doesn't mean I don't appreciate everything Favre did for the Packers while he played. But I hated what he did to the team this past off season, and I have more than enough experience watching the guy to know why he can go from Good-Favre to Bad-Favre so quickly.

I love how that's the first thing to come from a Vikings fan in this topic. No respect at all; just classless; only looking for Thanks from fellow fans. This is the kind of stuff what makes me respect the Bears and their fans much more.
Dear Packers Defensive Line,
Stop having tea parties with the other team's offensive line.
Dear TT,
Don't fvck up the draft.
Dear Rodgers, wide receivers, and Woodson,
Love ya.

Dear J.P. Losman,
Thanks for blowing your game that would've given the Pats a good chance to get to the playoffs. Seriously way to hold on to the ball. Oh...
And Dear Bills Playcaller,
Good job calling a pass play on 2nd and 5 when you had been running it down their throats, and you needed to kill the clock.

Dear Saints,
After yet another year of disappointment and losing countless more years of life due to stress and high blood pressure I demand you fire Gary Gibbs. Our defense consist of NFL journey men who really shouldn't be starting on any team. Not to say we dont have good players i.e Vilma sed will come along and surprisingly Randall gay has stepped up very nicely. With those three tho the other 8 are not getting us any where. Secondly I hope Sean Peyton notices that Pierre Thomas is emerging as a very good RB for our team. Possibly next year he can get even better and we can find more balance in our offense that doesn't result in 768169+169+ passes a game. In the end I will always be a saints fan, but I hope next year we pull some strings and aquire some defensive studs so these games wont be so hard to watch.
Sincerely,
DomePatrol
