Hey guys. This is my campus legend I'm bringing over (because of SG closing down). For those of you who are new, please take the time to read this. I put a lot of work into it in attempt to bring some life and depth to the story. It's basically about a high school quarterback who tries to overcome the many problems he encounters in his high school and college football career. I make updates very frequently; usually once or twice a day.
For those of you guys from SG, it's here! I'll get an update in this week :)
Enjoy Guys... ;)

Blog Update #1
August 28th, 2007
Isaiah Stone
I really don't know how to start this, but I'll give it a shot.
My name is Isaiah Stone. I live in Denver, Colorado and simply love football. I'm starting my senior season at quarterback for East High School, and need help handling the pressure. I think the best way to handle it all is just to let my thoughts out on paper. So here it is, my life:
Ever since was a little kid, I've lived and breathed football. My mom said I was digging through my dad's closet and picked up a football, and that I'd never let go of it. This was the one piece of him I've been able to hold on to since his death. He died when I was about 2, too early to remember him too well. I just remember my first memory being him and me in the backyard playing with the football. I kiss him goodnight one night, and haven't seen him ever since. He was in a highway car accident; some punks racing each other and swerving into my dad.
Since then, my mom's had a lot of trouble raising me. She's had to work 2 jobs, and even a third if we're short on cash near the end of the month. Now, you're probably wondering how I got into football. Well, my mom's friend, Auntie Teresa I used to call her, took me to the park one day while my mom was at work. We played with the football and had a blast. She threw the ball really far one time, sailing way over my head, and it landed in front of some kids. I paid no attention to them, and just ran as fast as I could for the ball. By the time I picked up the ball, I was going pretty fast, and when I put my head up, I see about 4 kids right in front of me. Because of how fast I was going, I reacted quickly and stuck my shoulder into the kids to try to defend myself. But I trucked over them, and like a domino effect, they all went down. This caused everyone's parents to come in. Then this man came up to Teresa and started talking to her. I thought I was in trouble. Teresa then asked me if I would like to play football with other kids my age. The guy talking to her was the coach of a local youth football league. He offered to pay the admission and equipment costs for me, as he thought I was special, and that we could win a championship with me.
This coach, Coach Peterson, introduced me to a fairly basic offense. He lined me up at quarterback, had the offensive line in front of me, had two fullbacks right behind the left and right guards, and had two tight ends on either side of the O-Line. The center would snap it, I'd catch it, and run. I'd just run as fast as I can, trying to put my shoulder into anyone in my path. This offense stayed with me for a great amount of time, until about grade 4. We won the championship every year, as I was able to get at least a first down on every play; I was unstoppable. It was grade 4 where we implemented some passing into my game. We ran our offense out of the same formation, but had more team speed. We'd get the tight ends and fullbacks to run quick slants if we felt the defense was blitzing. When I was in the huddle, I'd yell out a random even number for a run, eg. "Fifty-sex, fifty-six!" and I'd do what we did the last 5 years. Now, if I saw the defense all coming forward like an all-out blitz, I'd yell a random odd number. This offense got us 5 championships through my elementary grades.
Now, during these 5 years, I was introduced to weights. My coach told me only to lift weights I could lift at least 10 times. At first I listened, because I wanted to be safe. But then I saw how much better I became. I realized if I lifted the heavier ones, I could only get better. So I lifted and I lifted and I lifted. Sometimes I could only lift them 4-6 times, but I didn't care. As long as I knew I could lift them, I got some sense of accomplishment. Now, when I was in 4th grade, I was relatively tall, at 5'6. In the 6 years I lifted weights I grew only about 3 more inches, giving me a frame of about 5'9, and I haven't really grown since. If I could, would I go back and stop myself from lifting? Hell no. The new strength gave me the ability to make amazing plays, and become the best elementary football player in state history. By the end of grade 8, I was 5'9 200lbs; solid muscle. This was unheard of in elementary school, as most kids would think they were tanks if they hit the 100lb mark.
Then came high school. Because I was told high school football was so big, my league cut off at our age group, telling us that we should try out for the High School Football team. Coach Peterson told me that he was the gym teacher at East High School, and that if I signed up for a flex-boundary, he'd pull some strings. Well, he did, and got me into the school. Now, I wasn't able to start as a freshman, as we ha some hotshot senior leading the team, and coach told me I had to learn the playbook. There were a lot more passing formations that I hadn't heard before. The Shotgun confused me the most, mainly because we barely ever had designed run plays. So my freshman year, I hit the books, studied my playbook, and made a bunch of buddies. When sophomore year came, I was ready. I made a bunch of plays happen, and we ran something very similar to the Gator Heavy that seemed to work. Although we list in the State semis, I thought it was a very successful first year. I had over 1,500 yards rushing and 1,000 yards throwing, and over 40 total TDs.
Junior year, all eyes were on me. I had some big school scouts at every game. The pressure never got to me. I worked as hard on the field and off the field, no matter what. I was able to put on 15 pounds of muscle, putting me at 5'9, 215lbs. This weight I had added over the summer gave me more running ability in short-yard/redzone situations. That year, I was able to re-write our record book, running for just over 2,000 yards, and actually throwing for a bit less then I did the season before. But the Touchdowns are what made the season special. 35 TDs on the ground and 15 through the air, to give me 50 Total TDs. Although we barely lost in the state championship, I had proven my ability to the country, and to the state to watch out for next year.
And now, that leaves me here. Heading into my senior season I have huge expectations. From the country, the state, the team, but most importantly, myself. I think i have what it takes to finally bring my team a State Championship. I'm a little bit taller now, at 5'10, and put on a few pounds, bringing me to 220lbs now. I think we can finally do it. We finally have what it takes. Its just up to me to go out there and do what I have t do to get my team the win. This year is the year.
Thanks for reading fellas, more blog updates to come for sure.

Rivals.com High School Season Preview
http://www.studionow.com/media/misc/casestudy/rivals/rivals_logo.jpg
We saw one hell of a class last year, with some great playmakers on offense. You have your Jimmy Claussen pro-style quarterbacks, your Joe McKnight, Noel Devine game-changers, and then you get some Arrelious Benn; size, speed strength at receiver. If it weren't for the redshirted Crabtree, last year's true freshman class could have been one of the best in history. Now, I realize last year's class raised he bar, but we have some very exciting players to be watching this high school season. So let's get right to it. The top 5 Rivals.com recruits to watch:
Coming in at number 5: WR, Julio Jones - Foley H.S. Alabama
http://vmedia.rivals.com/IMAGES/PROSPECT/PHOTO/JULIOJONES1_4150.JPG
Keep your eye out for this kid. He's got a 6'4, 215lb frame, a 4.48 40 yard dash, a 315lb bench-press and a 41-inch vertical... as a freshman! Most freshman put on at least 10-15 pounds of muscle by the time they get to their senior year. This guy could be the next Randy Moss by then. He has all the intangibles; Size, Speed, Leaping Ability and Strength. With the right work ethic, this guy's a top 5 pick in 3-4 years.
Where will he go?
Our sources say he would like to play for a big program, and most likely a place close to home. He said he would be willing to move out-of-state if necessary, but would prefer a place near home. With Alabama at the reigns of Nick Saban, and being in the most powerful conference in the league, I can see this kid committing to the Crimson Tide before February. It's just too close a fit.
Coming in at number 4: DE, DaQuan Bowers: Bamberg-Ehrhardt H.S. South Carolina
http://vmedia.rivals.com/IMAGES/PROSPECT/PHOTO/DAQUANBOWERS6_13150.JPG
What do you get when you get an 18-year old with a 6'4, 267lb frame, a 4.57 40-yard dash, and sheer strength and finesse? Dequan Bowers is your answers. He comes in as the strongest defensive ends, and by far the biggest with a 40-yard dash under 4.6. If he adds some more muscle in his 3-4 years in college, we might be seeing the type of athlete the Texans saw with their first pick in 06; does Mario Williams ring any bells?
Where will he go?
Sources say this kid wants to play for a big SEC program, most likely within the state. That simply breaks it down to South Carolina, or Clemson. He's leaning slightly more towards Clemson, but don't be surprised if he does a quick flip-flop. One thing's for sure. DeQuan Bowers will be playing in the SEC next year.
Coming in at number 3: RB, Darrell Scott: St. Bonaventure H.S. California
http://vmedia.rivals.com/IMAGES/PROSPECT/PHOTO/DARRELLSCOTTARMY08150.JPG
He's never been the fastest, never the strongest, and never the biggest. But this kid's heart, determination, and his refusal to go down on any play is what allowed him to run for over 3,000 yards last year and book 45TDs on the ground. Now, he didn't get these numbers the same way Reggie Bush did. Scott is a downhill runner who knows how hit the hole, and hit it hard. He was able to average 9.5 yards per carry while being, primarily, an inside runner. This ability will make him work in the more pro-style offenses, and surely an NFL-type back.
Where will he go?
He's said he wants to play for a big program that hasn't sold itself to the 'spread phenomenon'. USC, UCLA and Miami are looking like the early favourites, but don't be surprised if Colorado somehow squeaks in there. Darrell Scott's cousin, Josh Smith, is on the CU roster, and the two are very close. We could see a tight race between three legendary schools and a Big East school.
Coming in at number 2: ATH, Isaiah Stone - East H.S. Colorado
http://vmedia.rivals.com/uploads/1004/23699.JPG
Stone is your definition of a playmaker on offense. He'll line up at quarterback, although we're unsure he has the ability to make the big throws at the next level. Regardless, he comes in at #2 because of his playmaking ability. When it comes to running; he has the speed of an NFL back. When it comes to trucking ability, he's more Powerful than Florida's weapon in last year's NC game; Tim Tebow. I'd say this kid is more elusive than Adrian Peterson. You're just not able to see it because he doesn't have quite the burst A.D. has. Regardless, the fact that we're comparing a freshman to heisman candidates says something. Although I honestly don't think Stone will be able to get recruited as a quarterback, with his 5'10 height, I believe he could be used in playbooks such as the Wildcat, or even the way Tebow was used last year. But I just don't think he has what it takes to be a quarterback in Division 1-A football.
Where will he go?
Isaiah Stone would fit into Arkansas' playbook nicely. He could play the Wildcat, or Wildhog as they say it down in Lafeyette. If he’s willing to move over to halfback, I'd say he's a strong candidate for USC. If he's overly stubborn about playing quarterback, some smaller schools that run the option might be willing to take him. Now, if we see improvement in his arm-strength this year, he could be the next best thing in college football. Florida, Oregon, and West Virginia are atop his list this moment. Although he may not be the starting quarterback for them immediately, they could mold him into quite a player.
And finally, Our #1 prospect: QB, Terrelle Pryor - Jeannette H.S. Pennsylvania
http://vmedia.rivals.com//IMAGES/PROSPECT/PHOTO/TERRELLEPRYORARMY08100.JPG
The best Junior in the country last year - bar none. I don't think we're ever going to see talent like this again. 6'6, 235lbs, a 4.4 40-yard dash, and incredible arm strength. Pryor is the definition of dual-threat. If you don't spy him with strategic zone D, he'll kill you. If you put too much emphasis on the run, he'll kill you through the air. There's almost no way to stop this kid, which is evident through the stats: over 1,500 yards rushing and passing, nearly 30TDs on the ground and 15 through the air. Unstoppable.
Where will he go?
Pryor has two factors that will play into his decision. One is his closeness to home. Thus Penn State and Ohio State will be viable options. The other will be the playbook in which he can succeed the most in. Oregon, Florida and West Virginia have all shown interest in this special kid, as he can help with their Spread Option playbook. This could be a very close decision, but Pryor is leaning towards Rich Rodrigquez in West Virginia. Could Pat White and Terrelle Pryor actually be playing on the same team next year? Add them with Steve Slaton and Noel Devine, and you may possibly have the best running team in NCAA History. How good is Rich Rod? We'll have to wait to find out...
http://www.salem-news.com/spimg/march192008/terrelle-pryor.jpg
And there you have it, our top 5 prospects to watch this year. Surprisingly none of them are coming from the football state of America; Texas. I could care less. As long as I get to watch endless tape of these incredible athletes, I simply don't care. I sure would like to see Pryor and Stone facing off in a gladiator challenge. Both seem amazingly talented; strong, fast, and that ability to avoid tackles. Although, 'd take Pryor as my quarterback any day. Stone could be great in some situations, but overall, I think Pryor's the best thing since sliced bread. Will Pryor, among the other top 5 prospects, be able to bring home the State Championship? We'll have to wait and see.
Stay tuned for what is sure to be a very exciting High School Season!

Blog Update #2
September 4, 2007
Isaiah Stone
Man, did you guys see that Rivals.com article? I mean sure, they gave me the props for being the #2 player in the nation, but saying I won't be able to play QB at the next level? Come on! The fact that they list me as an ATH is an insult. I can't believe they think I'm even going to consider playing running back next year. I'm a quarterback. I led our team to the state finals last year, playing quarterback. How can they think I can't throw that well? Clearly they only look at stats.
Look at the playbook I'm in. It's basically a goal-line pistol offense, with motion, options and QB blasts. Can you blame me if I win games with that? Can you blame me if I'm the most unstoppable force on the field? Put me in a Texas Tech style offense, and you'll see how much I succeed. Put me in an Arkansas wildcat-dog-hog, and see how I tear up the D. Hell, put me in a USC Pro-style offense, and see what I do. It doesn't matter what playbook I'm in, I'll get my team the wins. Because of the playbook I'm in now, my passing stats are relatively low. But look at the Touchdowns and the Wins. Not to mention the 0 in the right column of our record. Regular Season went perfectly last year, but the D let us down late in in the championship game.
This year's my chance to prove I have what it takes, and if that means running the ball every down, getting no passing yards, I'm willing to do it. I don't care about stats, and I don't care about breaking records, I only care about one thing, and that's the W. If rivals.com can't see that, then screw them. High-paid scouts know how to find talent, and when they come to Denver, they're gonna find it. Right here! Isaiah Stone and the East High Angels taking home the hardware this time around!

Blog Update #3
September 11, 2007
Isaiah Stone
It's Tuesday, and you know what that means... an Isaiah Stone blog update! *Confetti* No, I'm not that self-centered, but, I'm happy to get back online. It's been one hell of a week. Harder subjects, meaner teachers, and annoying new freshman in the school. It's a new year, and I'm not liking it too much. Hey, that reminds me, I haven't told you too much about my personal life. Well, let’s get to that right now.
When I first came here in 9th grade, the first thing I did was try out for the football team. At the tryouts, I met a guy named Mark; Mark Thompson. Mark was trying out for running back. And man, this cat was fast. I'm telling you, after coming in first in all of the sprint drills, the coach thought it would be cool if he raced the senior kick returner. Mark dominated him the entire way. Someone in the stands timed the 40-yard race, and claimed Mark ran a 4.24. I know we can't say it was official, but I wouldn't argue with that time.
Ever since then, we really hit it off. We had a bunch of classes together, always hung out in the cafeteria, studied our playbook after school. Pretty much, he was like the brother I never had. We didn't actually get to play freshman year, because the coach wanted to prepare us for our sophomore year. So freshman year was 100% committed to all the fun stuff. I'm talking working out together, hitting the mall together, playing some madden together, even playing some 1 on 1 football together. Hell, those were some good times.
Sophomore year, coach told us some big kid was transferring to East High, and that we should be nice to him, as he had just immigrated from Germany. This guy's name was Kristopher Kreutz. Now this guy was a tank, hence the nickname we gave him; landkreuzer (pronounced Land-Cruiser) - a Nazi tank that was the heaviest of its time: 1000 metric tons. Standing 6'3 and 245lbs, as a sophomore, made him the biggest guy on our team; including our puny O-Line. Mark and I were among the first to talk to him and show him around the school. He really took a liking to us, and started hanging out with us.
Since then, we've Americanized him a lot. We've shortened his name to the American 'Chris', and just say 'Cruise' as his last name. Now, even though he was the biggest on the team, he wanted to play fullback. He had enough speed to do it, and definitely had the power. In our spare time after practice, we'd practice some of our timing in his backyard; seriously, his backyard was like a football field (I think his dad was like an ambassador for the government or something, 'cus he was loaded!). We'd practice our triple option from the Flexbone, I-Formation, and Shotgun. The other thing we really tried to do was turn some of Chris' flab into muscle. Seriously, this guy must have loved Schnitzel, cus his tummy was full of it. By Christmas time, we finally got his body fat % into single digits, and toned him down to about 230lbs. Although he didn't look as strong as before, he got much, much stronger.
Junior year was when we were all concentrating on football. We felt with our experience from last year, and with our work ethic for the current year, we'd be able to take the State Championship. Now, this became a lot harder when Chris went down in practice after taking a 6 yard gain from a B-Back dive. The next day, we found out he tore his ACL, and would be out for the year. His heart was there, as he still came to each practice, and made sure his replacement knew the playbook well enough. But it wasn't enough. His replacement was plain awful. He was so bad, coach had to re-form our playbook into situations without a fullback.
This forced me to be the power runner, and Mark to be the home-run threat. We ran most of our plays out of the our newly designed East-Angel formation (similar to the Gator Heavy and the Wildcat). Mark would line up as a receiver on the left, and on each play, would motion to the right (east). We had about 30 plays designed to come out of that formation. Most of being running plays to me or Mark. We made it all the way to the championship with Mark and me, but in the first quarter, Mark was knocked out of the game because of a late hit. The 15 yard penalty didn't make up for the out-of-game concussion Mark took. With me being the only playmaker, we still got points, but had to watch our lead vanish in the dying seconds with a 45-yard field goal.
And that leaves us here. Chris is fully recovered. So him, Mark and I are ready to make a huge impact for this senior season. With all of us being in the best physical shape we've ever been in; Chris being 6'3 235lbs of solid muscle, Mark being 5'9 185lbs of pure speed, and me being a versatile weapon at 5'10 220lbs. With the versatility of us three, (if we're able to stay healthy) we should be able to bring East High the Colorado State Championship.
One more quick thing. With the season starting next week, and my 12th grade U-classes being really demanding, I'm only going to be able to give blog updates every 2 weeks, sometimes maybe even 3 or a month. Thanks for reading fellas.

Best Option Yet?
The East High Angels are expected to dominate on offense this year, with what could be the best running trio in Colorado history; Stone, Thompson and Kreuzer.
For those of you who don't know how the option works, we'll try to explain it briefly. The quarterback will snap the ball, and will run to one side. The running back will be running the same direction, at about the same speed, approximately 5-7 yards behind him. The quarterback has the choice to either hold it, and run it up himself, or pitch it back to the running back. This offense takes good, split-second decisions, usually right around the line of scrimmage. The quarterback's decisions in an option offense make all the difference. A smart quarterback, who pitches the ball in the right situations, can turn a 3 yards per-play offense, into a 5+ yards per-play offense.
Now, when we add in the third player, it becomes much more effective, and much harder to defend. The quarterback will snap the ball, and will have the fullback, or B-Back, run it right up the gut. The quarterback has the choice to either hand it off to the B-Back, or fake the run up the middle, and continue with the regular 2-player option, in most cases with a running back. This offense is called a triple option, and can be run out of many formations, which we will talk about next.
The Flexbone
The following is the Flexbone formation, most notably used by Paul Johnson's Navy team. The play always involves a quarterback, a fullback and at least one slotback, but in most cases, two.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cf/Flexbone_Formation.PNG
Before the play takes place, one of the slotbacks will motion towards the quarterback. The fullback, lined up 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage, will be the first option. The quarterback has the choice to hand it off to the fullback, or continue to his right or left, depending on where the play is designed to run. He will then run a basic option with the slotback.
The I-Formation
The following is the I-Formation, in which the direction of the option can be disguised very well.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0d/I_Formation.PNG
There is no motion prior to the snap. The fullback will be the first option. The quarterback has the option to hand it off to the fullback up the middle, or continue with the option. Now, depending on where the play is designed, the quarterback and halfback, will both run the option to the left or the right. The reason the I-Formation is so useful for the triple option, is because even if the quarterback fakes the handoff to the fullback to the left, the option can continue the other way with the halfback, to the right, and vice versa.
The Shotgun
In the new millennium, the spread option has really grown as an offense; most notably in West Virginia, with Junior Quarterback, Pat White.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0d/Shotgun_Formation.PNG
In the shotgun formation, a wide receiver (usually the slot receiver) motions towards the quarterback. When the ball is snapped, the quarterback has the choice to hand it off to the halfback, or continue with the option. The quarterback then runs the option with the wide receiver behind him. This formation is great for spreading the defense out, and then pounding the ball into the open side.
Those are the three main formations you'll see the East High Angels come out in. We would take the time to explain the East-Angel Formation, but that's another story for another day. We will now give you brief descriptions of the players that make this offense so effective.
http://vmedia.rivals.com/uploads/1004/23699.JPG
Name: Isaiah Stone
Position: Quarterback
Height: 5'10
Weight: 220lbs
40-yard dash: 4.4 secs
Bench max: 350 pounds
Squat max: 500 pounds
Vertical: 36 inches
Flexbone: QB
I-Formation: QB
Shotgun: QB
What He Brings: Power, speed, elusiveness, versatility... everything you could want from an option quarterback. He's got it all. I'd say he's a Darren McFadden-Tim Tebow hybrid. He's that versatile. Stone can change the game with one snap, and is near impossible to stop out of the East-Angel Formation.
http://vmedia.rivals.com/IMAGES/PROSPECT/PHOTO/BRANDON-KING150.JPG
Name: Kris Kreuzer
Position: Fullback
Height: 6'3
Weight: 235lbs
40-yard dash: 4.6 secs
Bench max: 500 pounds
Squat max: 400 pounds
Vertical: 28 inches
Flexbone: FB
I-Formation: FB
Shotgun: HB
What He Brings: Power, power, and more power. This guy can move a pile, pick it up, bench press it, then throw it into the crowd. He's set the East High record for most weight bench pressed; 500 pounds. That's right. DeSean Jackson x3. Kreuzer the ‘Battlekreuzer’ helps make the triple option effective, as he is the main priority for the defense. If they don't bring 8 in the box, you can guarantee a first down for this bruiser.
http://vmedia.rivals.com/IMAGES/PROSPECT/PHOTO/TEMPLETONY1.JPG
Name: Mark Thompson
Position: Running back
Height: 5'9
Weight: 185lbs
40-yard dash: 4.3
Bench max: 200 pounds
Squat max: 300 pounds
Vertical: 41 inches
Flexbone: SB
I-Formation: HB
Shotgun: WR
What He Brings: The versatility and speed that is necessary in an option. Without him, the East High Option is nothing more than a power run-offense. With Thompson in the mix, it becomes a fast-paced offense. If the defense is only concentrating on the power runs, Thompson will bounce to the outside and outrun the D. The fastest 17-year old in Colorado is the most dangerous guy on the field, and must be accounted for in all situations. He’s the best outside runner in Colorado, and maybe even the nation.
And there you have it. Possibly the three best players the state of Colorado has ever produced, and they're on the same team. With these three impact players, the East High Angels look to take home the Colorado State Championship in the 07-08 season. Any college running the option as their primary offense should definitely take a look at these special players, especially the one under center; Isaiah Stone. He has a lot to prove this year, and if he's able to overcome the pressure, we can expect great things from the East High Angels.

Blog Update #4
September 25, 2007
Isaiah Stone
Wow, did two weeks go by fast. I figured with the season opener, school, and daily practices, It'd take forever. But here we are. Now, all of you are probably anxiously awaiting my comments on the season opener. So without further ado, here we go.
Friday classes were awful; I was so nervous. I couldn't even here the words my teachers were saying. Like in a cliche movie, it was all just static. All I could think about was the game. Would I slip and lose us the game? Was I 100% prepared? Would if I forget a playcall? Would I prove to the media that I always crack under pressure? These questions just bounced off me for hours. Mark thought I was on drugs. Don't worry I'm clean. But it was just something about that day; there was something in the air. That night, would be the night Denver stood still, and watched me, in hopes of opening East High's best season yet. I felt that pressure all day, and tried to overcome it. Would I be able to...?
As I'm suiting up, stretching, warming up my arm in pre-game, I was still hearing that same static. Slowly the stadium started to fill up, but it was nowhere near 1/4-full by the time coach brought us back into the dressing room. Now, I wish I could tell you coach gave us a great speech, I was listening closely, and then I led us on the field; but it didn't happen like that. I see the coach's lips moving, I can see the determined looks on the faces of my teammates, but still nothing. I couldn't hear the roar of the crowd, the confidence in my coach's voice, or the pounding of my MP3 player. The only thing I was hearing was the beat of my heart. Now, I'm no doctor, but I'd say my pulse was going about ten times faster than it had ever gone in my life. I see everyone getting up, and storming out of the dressing room onto the field. The backups run out first, then the defense. Our starting skill players on offense are announced, finishing with me. Still nothing, I couldn't hear a thing. Then, something hit me. I hear my name called, and run onto the field as confidently as I ever had. I hear the roaring of the crowd and the screaming of the players on the field. Now this is High School Football!
From there, everything went about as flawless as it could have. We ran our options perfectly, got down the field, and killed the clock; just like we'd practiced. Shotgun, I-Formation, Flexbone and the famous East-Angel were all unstoppable with our option attack. At the end of the game, I realize we had won 64-13. Our running stats had me at 167 yards on 18 carries, Mark at 98 yards on 7 carries and the Battlekreuzer at 103 yards on 14 carries, for a combined 6 TDs between us. I went 6-6 for 116 yards and a TD through the air. But at the time, I didn't realize this. All I could picture were the headlines in tomorrow's paper. "Stone Doesn't Disappoint!"
And that was my first game of the senior season. Not too shabby. Also, if you're wondering, we didn't play on the 21st because our game got cancelled. The official reason was because of a "Possible Storm”, but really, Coach Wilson and our opponent's coach agreed to postponing the game. Coach Wilson wanted us to rejoice for our incredible season opener; felt we deserved some sort of reward. In place of the game, Coach held an NCAA 08 tournament with the team. I beat Mark in the final. Arkansas 37 - Florida 24. I used plays mainly involving McFadden in the wildcat, as I feel that resembles me, and Mark mainly used Percy Harvin, for obvious reasons. Not too brag or nothing, but look who came out on top... *wink*
Clearly, it was a fantastic week. Tons of school celebration, better practice atmosphere, and just my own self-accomplishment really made this past week special. That really was the biggest game of my life, and I still haven't fully calmed down from it. It's been over a week, and I still have shivers! But I'm going to need to put a (metaphoric) jacket on, because I need to be fully prepared for Aspen High School on Friday.
Well, I have a film meeting to get to tonight, have to finish a bio report, and have early practice in the morning. If you don't get my drift, I gotta jet!
I'll be sure to give you an update or two in October. Until then, wish me luck!

Isaiah Stone received many phone calls the day after his last-second dramatic win. The longest phone call he took; a call from Rich Rodriguez, West Virginia head coach. Rich Rod has been very successful with his unique Spread Option; most notably with All-American quarterback Pat White and All-American running back Steve Slaton. If Rich Rod is able to add Stone to this mix somehow, it would be a very explosive offense.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/florida.pnghttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/illinois-1.pnghttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/oregon.png
Other notable Spread Option schools Stone received calls from include Florida, Illinois and Oregon. He is willing to attend these schools, as they are giving him the opportunity to play quarterback; the position he loves. One thing coaches said about Stone, was his mentality. He had the winning attitude, and the right mindset. He's willing to go to any school that will give him an opportunity to play quarterback.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/utah.pnghttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/tcu.pnghttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/byu.pnghttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/navy.png
Some notable mid-major teams he has shown interest in include Utah, TCU, BYU and Navy; most notably with Navy. Navy runs a triple option, in most cases out of the flexbone. Stone is very comfortable with this offense, as his East High Angels run out of it in many occasions. He is also considering playing in the Mountain West, in an attempt to stay close to home. Utah, TCU and BYU are his favourite schools of the conference, however he says if other schools blow him out of the water, he might consider them.
http://www.yardbarker.com/m/16317/xl/rich_rod.jpg
Rich Rodriguez says "Stone is a very special players that we could use in a lot of ways. In Pat [White]'s senior year, we could put Isaiah [Stone] in many situations. He would likely be the starter after Pat [White] graduates." Mr. Triple Option, Paul Johnson, of Navy states "He's got that extra step on you. It's very small, and hard to notice on the tapes. But he's just got that extra step that the defense doesn't have. If you watch closely, it's the difference between a 2-yard carry and a 50-yard touchdown. We need that extra step in my offense!"
Although right now it is inconclusive, we believe Isaiah Stone is leaning towards West Virginia. The playbook is perfect, the surrounding talent is there, and arguably, the best Spread Option coach in the game today is there. We believe his visit to West Virginia will be just the push he needs to commit to WVU. It's a little early, but we predict Isaiah Stone will be wearing a Mountaineer jersey, come this time next year.

Colorado Sports Radio
Mitch Resuto: Welcome back. If you're just tuning in, we have quite a story here. With one minute remaining in the fourth quarter, the highly favoured East High School Angels trail the Aspen High School Mountaineers 7-12. I just don't see the East High Angel option offense being able to come back at this point. What about you Michael?
Michael Rosben: Well, I'm still surprised East High is even in the game at this point. After their star quarterback, Isaiah Stone, was injured in the first quarter because of a late hit, the game was over. Since then, the Angels have shown no heart. Not even a small sign of any offense. With the huge hype for a possible undefeated season, this may be the biggest upset in Colorado Sports History!
Mitch: Well, we might as well watch Aspen run down the clock. Although East High has all three timeouts, the Aspen Mountaineers only need just one first down to win. - And there's the first run, a gain of five. Timeout East High. They have 2 remaining. - And there's attempt number 2, for a short gain of about 3 yards. East High is down to their last timeout.
Michael: They may have a shot, Mitch. 3rd and 2 with 0:54 remaining, and a 12-7 lead for the Mountaineers. If East High makes the big stop here, we just may have a game.
Mitch: I doubt it! This game is as good as over.
Michael: Henry takes the snap, pitches it back to Johnson - IT'S DROPPED! There's a scramble for the ball..... ANGELS FOOTBALL!!! East High gets another shot!!!
Mitch: What a turn of events. Now lets see what backup quarterback, David Springle, can do for the Angels. He sure hasn't done much up until now. 2-11 for 13 yards and 3 INTs. To be honest, I'd say Aspen has a better shot at scoring than the Angels do at this point.
Michael: Now don't say that! Here we are, with the first play. East High comes out in a Five-Wide set. It's a reverse to Mark Thompson! Thomspon cuts to the outside, and he's loose!!! The 30! the 20! the 10...... NO! Tackled at the 7 yard line by the Mountaineer safety.
Mitch: Now, to you folks watching, that safety is nowhere near as fast as Thompson, he just had a great angle.
Michael: And with 0:43 remaining, the Angels take their final timeout. This strikes me as an awkward move. They could have sprinted down and taken a spike.
Mitch: Then again, it could have taken a good 20 seconds to run that far down the field. A 54-yard gain for Thompson looks great on paper, but I think we all wished he just had have ducked out of bounds. Because now, the Angels are inside the 10 with no timeouts. They won't be throwing it, with Springle's awful play, forcing them to run it. 34 seconds, I'd say that's maybe enough for two runs. Would you count on the Angels punching the ball in from the 7 when the defense knows it'll be a run?
Michael: Not without Isaiah Stone under center.
Mitch: And here come the Angels, with 0:34 remaining. They're in a goaline formation, with 2 backs and 3 tight ends. The snap is taken, and it's handed off to the Battlekreuzer... can't get it in! Gain of about 5, bringing them to the two. They hurry the snap. 20 seconds left. And they're calling an audible!??? And lining up at quarterback is... Isiah Stone!!!?????
Michael: They must have snuck him in the last formation as a Tight End!
Mitch: With 10 seconds left, Stone tries to call a play! They're lined up in the East Angel. 5 seconds left!
Michael: They're motioning Thompson!
Mitch: They BARELY get the snap off in time! Thompson is handed the ball off the motion. He runs a reverse to the right, defense is following him. He might get in! But he's wrapped up behind the line... and he throws it back to Stone!!!!! He was able to throw it laterally to Stone before his knee hit the ground! Stone is wide open on the left side of the field!!!
Michael: That must have been a designed play!
Mitch: No one's near him, and he walks it into the endzone! Touchdown Angels! They win!!! 13-12! What a game! What a game!
Michael: And what a play at the end of the game! What a way for Isaiah Stone to make his comeback from injury; in the dying seconds with a trick play out of a trick formation. What a win for the East High Angels!
Mitch: I knew they had it in them all along!

ESPN-U: High School Chat

Stuart Scott: ... and I'm sure Pryor will make an excellent QB at the next level. Speaking of Terrelle Pryor, we have Erin Andrews standing by at a high school game in Colorado, about to talk to a very similar player. Isaiah Stone, the East High quarterback from Colorado. This is the guy who was snuck in as a tight end late in that high school game, and snuck back in to quarterback last second to win with a Jet Sweep QB Screen. Well, enough with the talk, lets get to the real thing from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where our ESPN-U Analyst Erin Andrews is waiting. Erin?
http://weblogs.newsday.com/sports/watchdog/blog/andrews_clicks.jpg
Erin Andrews: Thanks Stu. Wow, what a great Friday-Night game we just witnessed. I'm here at Franklin High stadium, where the East High Angels just destroyed the Franklin High Lightning, by a score of 56-9. And here comes the star of the game, right now. Here he is ladies and gentlemen, Isaiah Stone.
Isaiah Stone: Hey Erin, thanks for having me.
Erin Andrews: Now, Isaiah, you just had an incredible game. Here are some stats: 200 rushing yards, 175 passing yards, and a total of 5 TDs. How are you feeling?
Isaiah Stone: I feel great. We just ran our options to perfection, and caught the defense off guard with a couple long passes. The Battlekreuzer was able to give us the short down yardage, Mark kept the defense honest, while he did burn them once or twice, and I... well, lets just say this isn't a game I'll soon forget.
Erin Andrews: I'll say, you guys had a 42-6 point lead after halftime. From their, it was really just freshman vs. freshman. How does it feel to dominate a team as good as Franklin High?
Isaiah Stone: I wouldn't say dominate. *winks* But it was a very good performance by our offense and defense. We worked hard all week, prepared for their unique 5-2 defense, and just simply outplayed them. Nothing much more. Our team performance was just head and shoulders better than theirs. To dominate... whoops, I mean to play this well in front of these brutal Lightning fans... well, it just goes to show you who's who in Colorado State football.
Erin Andrews: Okay, it was a great game, it was a blow-out performance, and to be honest, it's over. Right now, I'd like to ask you about Terrelle Pryor. *Isaiah rolls his eyes slightly* What do you think about people comparing you to him?
Isaiah Stone: Well, I'm flattered they think I can throw the ball that well, I mean, the guy can zip it. But, when people compare me to him, I just have to wonder if they're watching the same game. I'm head and shoulders faster than him, stronger than him, I got better moves then him, and I think on any given day, our squad could stomp his little Pennsylvanian school.
Erin Andrews: So, what exactly are you saying about Pryor?
Isaiah Stone: Exactly what you think. I think Pryor is all hype. The Comparisons to Vick are pathetic. Vick was ten times faster, and could gun it far further than Pryor. I honestly think his number 1 rating on rivals.com is a joke. Sure, the guy has some good stats, and a nice long run or two, but that's because he's the only one running the ball. Just like that porker on Florida. Tom Taboo, or something like that. Both these guys have unbelievably jacked up stats, because they are the only ones running and throwing it. Do you know what my stats would look like if I had 50+ plays in me a game? I'd shatter every record in High School history. Then you'd all see what a chump Pryor is!
Erin Andrews: You're getting pretty worked up there, Isaiah. This is great TV. Anything else you'd like to say?
Isaiah Stone: Okay, I'm sorry for getting into stuff like that. Look, Terrelle, I respect you, I do. But the truth is, you're just not as good as everyone's making you up to be. They're all saying your the best High School product in football history, and you're going to tear up the NCAA as a freshman on whichever school is lucky enough to grab you. You realize this is a joke right? Watch some of your film. You're opponents are all moving in slow-motion, hell, I'd say the cornerbacks in some of your 'Amazing Highlight Reels' run 4.6's, tops. The truth is Terrelle, I'm better than you. I'm faster, stronger, more agile, better football moves, more heart, and I have better teammates. You may have the size, but that was given to you. I had to work for everything in my life! I'm sure everything was given to you. All that because of your stupid overrated stats or your overhyped stature! You know what Terrelle. Screw you! Us Angels could beat you on any given day, any given night, anytime anyplace! Hell, we can keep our teammates out of it, as you do on all of your plays. I challenge you, 1 on 1, to a football skills competition. Whatever you want; 40 yard dash, weight lifting, maybe even target practice. I’m gonna prove to the world that I belong on top of Rivals.com, and I’m gonna prove to you that you're nothing but a 6'6 punk! *storms off the field*
Erin Andrews: O....k. That was Isaiah Stone, quarterback for the winning East High Angels. Your final score: East HighAngels 56 - Franklin High Lightning 9. I'm Erin Andrews on ESPN-U. Back to you Stuart!

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I'm Terrelle Pryor. Recently, Isaiah Stone from some Denver High School team, challenged me. He stated I was 'all hype' because of my stats. He said he was faster, stronger, and all-around a better player. Well, Isaiah, to get stats you have to earn them; something you failed to do very well last year. Faster? Name another quarterback that runs my 4.4 40-yard dash! Stronger; does 235lbs of muscle mean nothing to you? And oh yeah, I have the size. I can actually see over the O-Line. I'm able to sit back in the pocket and throw it. I don't need crazy motions and designed plays to get me my yards. I just play a basic offense. But when you add me to it, it becomes the Terrelle Pryor show. Don't believe me? Lets watch some tape:
http://www.ncaagridirongab.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/terrelle-pryor.jpg
Oh, there's me jogging into the endzone. I don't even need to try; I'm just that good.
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/images/200709/20070908mfjeannette_3_500.jpg
Oh, and heres a picture of me, throwing it for a touchdown. Let me say that again. Throwing a touchdown pass. Is that a new word for you?
http://i.a.cnn.net/si/2007/highschool/06/18/moving.forward/p1_pryor.jpg
Oh, and there's a picture of me playing another sport which I'm being recruited for; Basketball. Unlike you, I can actually play another sport. I don't need to dedicate my life to one sport, as I have options. Oh yea, and I'm tall enough to dunk. What's that, you're touching rim? Good Job!
http://blog.dispatch.com/1812Nut/PryorCar.jpg
Oh, and there's me with my ride. Makes it pretty easy to get girls. I heard somewhere you don't even have a car! That's lame bro. Hope your girl don't mind taking the bus home. Wait, you don't got a girl!

Now, I've talked to some guys on NBC, and they're willing to give us a one hour slot on January 4th, 2008. That's right, you get the 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the BCS Bowls, and on the Friday; January 4th, you get to watch the #2 prospect in the Nation take on the #1 prospect in the nation, yours truly, in a good-old football skills competition. And then on the saturday, it's the Army All-American game, in which I will almost definitely be starting. So, set your Tivo's everyone, because on Friday January 4th, at 3:00pm EST on NBC, you're going to see who the best prospect really is!

Blog Update #6
October 12, 2007
Isaiah Stone
Now, it's Tuesday. Woo..... I'm not in the best mood right now, and I think you all know why. It's just... man, Terrelle Pryor's really getting on my nerves. I mean sure, what I did was uncalled for, but he didn't need to call me out and try to embarrass me on national television. That wasn't cool. On top of that, things aren't going to well for me at school. But that's not 'til later. Lets get on to the big news:
In case you missed it, I spent most of my Friday night victory-interview talking about Terrelle Pryor. I never wanted to talk about him. I wanted to talk about the game. Then Erin Andrews has to talk about Terrelle Pryor. Yes, everybody has to talk about Terrelle Pryor! 'He's this', 'he's that', 'he's the next Michael Vick', etc. I'm sick of it. I don't need distractions like him bugging me. So yes, I flipped on ESPN television. You all know that isn't me, and you all know that's not what my initial intentions were. It's just, all my emotions kinda caught up with me at once, and I let it all out on him in that interview.
I'll tell you, the college coaches weren't very impressed. Most of them were 'disappointed by my behavior'. Rich Rod told me I needed to clean up my act if I wanted to receive a scholarship from West Virginia. Please, don't pretend that one player on your team has never had one emotional blast-out. He's acting like their players are model citizens, and I'm a mass-murderer. All I did was tell the world Terrelle Pryor wasn't as good as we think he is. Is it really that bad? I didn't shoot anybody. Nobody got hurt. Why is it so much of a big deal anyways?
Now, there was obviously a reason I was stressed out that day. I tried out for the school play on Thursday. The cast was announced on Friday via P.A. , and I got the lead role! The bad part about this was everyone was calling me 'soft' and a 'pussy'. Man, that really got to me. I felt I had built up enough of a reputation for the school to respect me for what I did. And then I get that. Complete disrespect for someone that does nothing other than try to represent his school in the best way. Well, that stress carried over to the night-game, and well, the talk of Terrelle Pryor when I felt the interview should have been about me and my great play, well, it just reminded me of the way I had been treated that day. You do extremely well, the best you could possibly do for the school/team, and people want to talk about Terrelle Pryor. Well, I guess it just made me take out all of my frustration and stress on him.
I was ready to call Terrelle on the Saturday, to formally apologize. When I was literally about to dial his number (grabbed it from yellowpages.com), I was suddenly told to run into the TV room. "Izy-poo! Look at this!" yelled my mom. And then I see the man himself, TP, bantering me over and over on NBC; national television. My heart just sank, and I got so frustrated. After watching that, I just thought "This means war!". So now I'm stuck. I can't apologize to Terrelle publicly, or it will look like I'm chickening out of the skills competition. The media will consider it a forfeit, because they'd think he called my bluff, and I crumbled. But if I do nothing, I look like the pompous asshole who can't control himself in public. I don't want to be considered either of those, as I'm not. I'm a fierce competitor, but I am very responsible; clean criminal record, 100% straightedge, and good in school. I've been civil my entire life! Why did the one time I blew out have to be my first interview for ESPN?
So now, I don't really know what I am. My friends at school think I'm a drama pussy, and the media thinks I'm a hot-head. Both of which are unsure. How can I prove to both of them I'm a competitive, good guy? Right now, there doesn't seem to be a solution. So I'm just going to carry on with what I've been doing for the last couple weeks; focusing on practice and school. But now I have to add the play to this mix. Man, I'm gonna have a busy schedule. Not to mention our home game against South Park this week. (I know... I find it funny too)
Well, I figure to solve some of my problems, I'll talk to my close friends, and explain the story to them. With the team, I'll have a speech in the dressing room tomorrow at practice, explaining them the story. Then I guess I'll apologize to my coach, and let him know it won't happen again. This may not help my problems outside of Colorado; the media, but it will fix everything on a short-term basis. If I do all this, focus on my practices, South Park should be going down this week.
Well, got tons of weekly prep ahead of me, still have some homework to do, and have to go over some of my lines for rehearsal tomorrow. Wish me luck in the game, but more importantly, with my friends and with the media; I'm not sure if I'll be able to endure their pressure for much longer. Until next Tuesday, may God be with us.

PARDON THE INTERRUPTION
http://weblogs.newsday.com/sports/football/bob_blog/pti.jpg
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:_mFOCutVm0nBdM:http://www.masterpiecepumpkins.com/Graphics/ESPN-TonyKornheiser%2520%2520_photo.jpg
Tony: Welcome back to PTI. And because we have no guest for you today, we have... more headlines! *boos* Ah, give it a rest! What's up first Mike?
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:9_-CZQjI-yuHeM:http://www.masterpiecepumpkins.com/Graphics/ESPN-MikeWilbon%2520%2520_photo.jpg
Michael: Recently, NBC has been airing commercial starring Jeannette High School Quarterback, Terrelle Pryor. TP spends the majority of the commercial bashing on some kid from Colorado; Isaiah Stone. To Pryor's defence, Stone did make rather rude comments about him just days ago, here on ESPN. What are your thought about this 'Tone?
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:_mFOCutVm0nBdM:http://www.masterpiecepumpkins.com/Graphics/ESPN-TonyKornheiser%2520%2520_photo.jpg
Tony: I love this. I think this is just what High School Football needs. Something big, something controversial. And now we have it! This is perfect. We can get the media into High School Football. Get broadcasting stations attached to it: NBC michael! NBC! This could really boost the sports economy by adding another sport to watch. It could start with big schools with players like TP and Stone, but could expand, much like college football did. You start with NBC and Notre Dame, and look at it now. People are buying cable packages, satellites, to get all the games. This could be a great step for High School Football!
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:9_-CZQjI-yuHeM:http://www.masterpiecepumpkins.com/Graphics/ESPN-MikeWilbon%2520%2520_photo.jpg
Michael: You know what 'Tone. Here's what I think. I think this is stupid! I know these guys are too young, but someone should be fined here. This is despicable. We can't be encouraging this behavior! These are kids; teenagers. We have to discipline them so they don't turn into the Terrell Owens' and the Chad Johnson's of today!
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:_mFOCutVm0nBdM:http://www.masterpiecepumpkins.com/Graphics/ESPN-TonyKornheiser%2520%2520_photo.jpg
Tony: You are aware that those are two of the most popular and most marketable guys in the NFL, right?
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:9_-CZQjI-yuHeM:http://www.masterpiecepumpkins.com/Graphics/ESPN-MikeWilbon%2520%2520_photo.jpg
Michael: I don't care, they're idiots! They take away from the game. Much like TP and Isaiah Stone are doing. High School isn't about bantering the other guys on national TV. It's about the game! So I say someone makes a statement here, and fines both schools, and suspends the players involved. We need to make High School about the game! This is just ridiculous!
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:_mFOCutVm0nBdM:http://www.masterpiecepumpkins.com/Graphics/ESPN-TonyKornheiser%2520%2520_photo.jpg
Tony: But Mike, look at what they've done. They just put their names out there, to millions of viewers. They've built up tons of hype for January 4th. And these are 17-year olds. High School players! How great is it that we can be introduced to great talent at a young age like this? It's what slowly happened to college football; NFL used to be the main sport, but now people want to be introduced to the players at a younger age. Why not take the step backwards even further, and televise some big High School games!?
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:9_-CZQjI-yuHeM:http://www.masterpiecepumpkins.com/Graphics/ESPN-MikeWilbon%2520%2520_photo.jpg
Michael: Because Tony, it's High School. Shouldn't these guys be keeping their grades up, staying out of trouble, and worrying about the game? If we throw national television cameras in their stadiums, don't you realize what'll happen? I mean, we already saw what happened when the media jumped on Michael Vick. These kids are so vulnerable at their young age. If we throw cameras in their faces, don't you think it'll go to their head. This is the last thing we need; the possibility of getting High Schoolers into more trouble then they're already getting into. Lets keep the televised games at State Championships, and the annual Army All-American Game, and that's it!

Tony: Well, your theory might already be going out the door, because NBC has announced today they will be televising East High's game this week against one of their biggest rivals; the Doherty High School Blizzards of Colorado Springs. Your final comment Michael?

Michael: This is stupid! I can't believe NBC is buying into this childish unsportsmanlike behavior. I hope it gets ratings, just so the audience can see how untalented these kids are. It's High School! Come on NBC, this is ridiculous!

Successful NBC-HS Debut
NBC-High School made a successful debut yesterday, as its scheduled High School Football game featuring Isaiah Stone and the East High Angels received high ratings, exceeding initial expectations.
Remember that commercial that was airing last week; the one in which Terrelle Pryor called out East High's Isaiah Stone? Well, it seemed to spark some interest from NBC viewers. Viewers were sending letters, emails, begging NBC to air an Isaiah Stone game. NBC gave its viewers just that, as they filled their Friday Night spot with a game between Stone's East high Angels and the Doherty High Blizzards.
The game received a shockingly high, estimated 5.6 million viewers. NBC estimated lower than 2 million viewers as it was an experiment to prove there most likely wouldn't be a large audience for a high school game. The viewers proved them wrong, as NBC garnered the most viewers on Friday, even ahead of WWE's Friday Night Smackdown. Dick Ebersol, NBC Chairman and head of NBC Sports states "It was quite a surprise. We felt there may be a decent audience, as we'd at least built up some hype, but nothing of that gratitude."
NBC delayed many of its Primetime shows on Friday Night, such as 1 vs. 100, The Singing Bee, Las Vegas, and ironically, Friday Night Lights. The shows were expected to return the next week, as the Isaiah Stone High School game was expected to have a low audience. With the high ratings it received, it has placed NBC on the hot seat. "We're in a tight situation right now." states Ebersol. "We've decided to give the East High Angels the Primetime slot once again next Friday. If it succeeds again, we will be forced to make a decision regarding the Friday lineup." Essentially, if the Angels receive high ratings once again next week, NBC may be willing to cut, or at least re-slot some of its shows, to give Isaiah Stone and the Angels a permanent spot on Friday's for the rest of the season.
The East High Angels had the lead for the entire game, although it was very close throughout. The game, however, was put away late in the fourth quarter, as Isaiah Stone ran for a 22-yard touchdown, to give the Angels a 42-28 lead. Stone finished the game going 6-11 through the air for 87 yards and a Touchdown. He ran the ball 15 times for 127 yards and 3 Touchdowns. He also had a receiving touchdown for 37 yards. What an NBC debut for this kid! Stone refused to comment after the game.
If you're a fan of 1 vs. 100, The Singing Bee, Las Vegas or Friday Night Lights, one, you have bad taste in shows. Two, you may be out of luck, as NBC is willing to cancel these shows to make room for, possibly, their newest branch; NBC-HS. With Isaiah Stone being the coverboy for NBC's High School branch, we can at least expect to see a thrillingly exciting player each Friday!

Blog Update #7
October 23, 2007
Isaiah Stone
I'm sure many of you tuned into NBC on Friday. And if you didn't, then I guess you're not part of the 5.6 million. Can you believe that? More than five and a half million people got to see me play football. Now that's what I call an audience. I also have some great news around school. So lets get right to it.
NBC was airing tons of commercials this past week, with headlines such as "Stone, The Next Tebow" , "Pryor's Nemesis Proves Himself This Friday" and my favourite "Isaiah Stone - Could There Be A Cooler Name?". NBC's marketing ploys aren't the smartest in my opinion, but I can't argue with their results. You saw the news; 5.6 million viewers tuned in and saw me play possibly my best football this season.
The game went pretty well. It was a slow start, but we were ahead for pretty much the entire game. We executed our options to perfection, got the short yards when we needed to; with me and the Battlekreuzer. Mark had a couple big runs too. Overall, just a well-balanced run attack by us three. My favourite play was when we ran the QB Screen Pass... again. I know you all remember the first time we tried that play. Well, it worked again. All 11 defenders went into the direction of Mark, and he just whipped it to my side of the field. Great catch by me, and a 37 yard run, Touchdown! Coach said if I weren't such a great quarterback, I could have quite the NFL Career as a wide receiver. I didn't really know how to take that compliment. Sure, he said I was a great quarterback, but he's bringing up the same things rivals.com and ESPN are saying. "He's a great athlete". "He could be a great receiver". Coach should know I hate it more than anything when people tell me that. Either say I'm one hell of a quarterback, or don't say anything. That got me pissed off enough to run with a chip on my shoulder for the rest of the game. Now that I look back, I think Coach was actually trying to light my fire rather than compliment me.
You may have noticed I refused to interview or even comment after the game. I wasn't trying to be cocky. I just simply felt I should keep my act towards the game. I listened to some of the things Michael Wilbon was saying on PTI earlier last week. "Keep it about the game". I liked that, and thought it may be a great solution for now. So I did just that; played my heart out in the game, gave my teammates the leadership they needed, and nothing extra; no interviews. I mean, look at the trouble it got me into last week. Coach told me he was very proud of me, but for next week, I should make a quick positive comment about the game, so I don't look too cocky.
Now, last week, I thought I would have a huge problem with my friends and teammates. On Wednesday, I took my closer friends aside, and explained the full story to them. They understood completely, and I was really relieved. As for my teammates, after practice, I told everyone to round up around our endzone. I got everyone to take a knee, and explained to them how my emotions got the better of me. I told them that we can't let that happen to us, and I promised it would never happen again. Everyone gave me a a tap before going into the locker room; they were really proud to hear that. My coach told me he was very honoured to have me as a player, and named me the team captain on the spot. I like that honour; it has a nice ring to it. Isaiah Stone - East High Angels Captain!
Now, with the school play, I think everyone understands now. I told them it's one of my loves, but there's no way I'll let it get in the way of football, or being the physical leader on the field. Speaking of the play, I went to the first rehearsal today. I'm playing Romeo in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. When I first saw the actress for Juliet, I almost fainted. This had to be the hottest girl I'd ever seen in my life. After rehearsal, we talked for a little, and got to know each other a little. Her name's Jessica. She grew up in Aspen, being a big fan of snowboarding. Her family moved here this year, as they wanted to get her into a better High School, to give her better possibilities of getting into a good college. Our small conversation was really nice. She offered me a ride home, but I lied and said I had my own car. Man, the girl you need to lie to, to impress. I think this may be my first real shot at getting a girlfriend.
I know, it's stupid right. But I've never actually had a girlfriend. I've had a bunch of cheerleader's ask me out and try to come onto me on the first date, but I was never too into it. I didn't wanna lose my virginity to some random slut. I want to do it the more Christian way. Not saying I want to be married to the chick, but at least be in a semi-serious relationship before... well, the pants come off. I know, I know. "You're the big high school quarterback, how can you still be a virgin?" Well, that's the way I are...*laugh*
Well, I have another big game this week against Mountain Vista. And now, big isn't just the cliché "Oooh, yep we have another big game this week against the Detroit Lions". It actually means big this time. I'm going to be on NBC again, and if I impress the viewers and Dick Ebersol enough, I might earn our team a permanent primetime slot on NBC. This isn't a ‘big game’, it's huge! I only have 3 more days to prepare. I also have to go over some lines for rehearsal tomorrow; need to impress Jessica! Until then, wish me the best of luck; I'll need it.

NBC-HS Is Here To Stay
NBC's High School branch received high ratings once again this week, as Isaiah Stone's East High Angels were able to win a last second thriller.
Dick Erbersol announced Saturday afternoon that NBC would be broadcasting the remainder of East High's regular season games with its newest branch, NBC-HS. With the success of East High Angels' star, Isaiah Stone, Erbersol feels viewers will continue to tune in. With the high ratings, various letters and emails sent in by viewers, and overall great, suspenseful football being played by the East High Angels, Friday Nights on NBC are now NBC-HS Football Nights.
NBC stated it will be changing its lineup, because of this announcement. 1 vs. 100 and The Singing Bee will be backed up to 7:00 and 7:30. This will allow NBC-HS' Friday Night Football to take the 8:00 slot. These games will be expected to end at approximately 10:30. At this time, Las Vegas will begin, taking the full hour, up until Jay Leno. Looking at this schedule, you may ask the question "What happened to Friday Night Lights?". Because of NBC-HS' new partnership with the East High Angels, and due to all other slots being filled up my NBC, Friday Night Lights is being cancelled all together. On Friday, November 2nd, the Angels do not have a game. This slot will be filled by Friday Night Lights' 2 Hour Series Finale.
As for the Angels game, it was a thriller. With the game going back and fourth all game, it came down to Isaiah Stone and the East High Angels down 4 points with 1:46 to go in the fourth. Stone got them down to the 15 with his arm and his legs, leaving 0:13 on the clock. On a designed QB Scramble Stone took got the ball to the 1-yard line, barely going out of bounds before hitting the pylon. This left the Angels with a one-yard play, with 0:07 seconds left and no timeouts. Essentially, this was the game. Running the option to the left, Stone pitched it back to Mark Thompson. Thompson appeared to be tackled, thus ending the game.
However, he wisely through the ball deep out of bounds before being tackled. He was outside the tackle-box, and the ball never crossed the line-of-scrimmage, thus it was ruled an incompletion. This gave the Angels one last chance with one second left in the game. The Angels came out in the East-Angel formation, and appeared to be running the Stone-Johnson option. However, Johnson quickly ran towards the endzone, rather than staying behind the quarterback. Stone took advantage of the defense's confusion, and won the game with a 1-yard TD pass to Johnson on the Fake-Option HB Screen.
NBC-HS found Isaiah Stone after the game, as he stated "This was such a well-played game by our offense. We worked and worked, and were able to come away with the win late". He then went on to say "I don't know what it is with this team, but we're always able to get the win. Mark [Johnson] is such an athlete; I can't believe they wouldn't cover him, over me on that play. But, that's how we planned it out, and that's how we won it. I'll take this kind of win any day!". Stone asked reporters only to ask questions about the game, as he would not field any questions related to Terrelle Pryor.
Be sure to tune in NBC-HS next Friday at 8:00pm, as Isaiah Stone and the East High Angels will be facing in-city rival South High. "South, North, West? Just know we'll be coming at you in all directions, and that no matter who's playing, East High will be the team going home with a W" states Angels' running back, Mark Johnson.

Blog Update #8
Isaiah Stone
October 30, 2007
It's Tuesday, and you all know what that means... Another blog update! Well, I'm sure you all tuned in to NBC-HS, and saw us pull off some more last-second magic to sneak off with the win. With all the drama, all the viewers, and just the thrill we all got after that game, we were on top of the world. Dick Erbersol and NBC, I'm guessing, felt the same way, as they signed a contract with our school to broadcast our remaining 6 games of the season! Man, just imagine what that could do for our program here. Sorry, got a little but ahead of myself. I also have some news around school, and a sneak-peek of recruiting information before the official rivals.com update comes out on the 1st of November. So lets get to it!
As many of you know, our last game was the biggest of my life. I was actually threatened by some guys from the Friday night shows on NBC. I guess we were threatening their airtime. Man, I love football, I love competitiveness, but there's no need for threats and "bounties" to be placed on me. What did I do? I do what I always do; my best for my school. Isn't that what I should be doing? How come NBC is punishing me? Well, I'll tell you, it was working. I was spazzing out all of Friday; thinking of the game in my head over and over. Picturing the millions of people who would be watching me, the opportunity I could be making or breaking for our school. All these ideas were bouncing off me at once. Mark and Chris tried to calm me down a little at lunch, but to no avail.
I quickly ran into the drama room after school to tell Ms. Garner I wouldn't be able to stay for rehearsal that night, and I saw Jessica again. I stopped myself mid-sentence, and stayed for rehearsal. Half the time I wasn't even paying attention, half the time. Every time Jessica was taking I just kept staring at her. As if she couldn’t see me, as if she were some actress on TV. She's that good, and that beautiful. Every time she said one of her lines I just wanted to kiss her. But I had to restrain myself; that scene wasn't being rehearsed today. After I was told I missed my line, due to my daydreaming, I decided to wake up and focus on the play. I put everything I had into each line, and I think Jessica could tell it was some attempt to get me to impress her. Sometimes, when Juliet would say a line, Jessica would touch me; put her arm around me, hug me, hold my hand, even though it wasn't in our script. From that point, I knew she might have feelings for me too.
After rehearsal, I decided to tell her the stress I'd been going through, with football, my friends, and the whole NBC nonsense. I felt if she really did care about me, she'd want to help me with this. When I was halfway through a sentence, bantering about the threats, she stopped me, and gave me the best advice I think I'd ever been told in my life; "You work hard for the things you care about. You know that, and if you want to prove it to the world, then don't go about it any other way. Work hard, prepare, and just show the world you'll always give 110% for the things you love." She gave me a small kiss on the cheek, and then softly said, "You know I’ll believe in you." She then subtly waved a goodbye, and walked out towards the parking-lot exit. I was in half-shock. The girl I had a crush on just gave me the best advice possible to calm me down, and the girl I liked, kissed me! I hope I didn't blush. She caught me pretty off guard, but I wouldn't change that feeling for anything else at that moment. Because of that, I was now ready for the Friday Night Lights!
The game was pretty fun. Our defense didn't do too much, but our offense just kept coming. A nice old shootout, but because of our long, time-consuming drives, no one got into the 50s. At around the 2 minute mark, our defense let them walk into the endzone, putting us at a 4-point deficit; 42-38. When our offense stepped on the field, I gave us a quick little motivation, and started our drive. We mainly came out in shotgun, but weren't afraid to run it, as we had the speed to get out of bounds. Our drive went extremely well, as we were able to get down to the 15 with 0:13 seconds left. However, stupid Mark didn't step out of bounds, and we had to burn our last timeout. On the next play, a PA Bootleg, I saw no one open and decided to go for the endzone. I had the chance to dive for the pylon, but didn't want to risk the game for our team; we'd worked too hard for a bonehead play to cost us the game. I conservatively jumped out of bounds, reaching out and getting the ball to the 1. With 7 seconds left, we assumed this would be it. Mark got stuffed pretty much on the next play, a HB Sweep. What happened next had to be the smartest thing I think I've ever seen on a football field. He threw it out of bounds, as he hadn't crossed the line of scrimmage yet.
That broken play of genius, gave us one more play. We'd been practicing an option where Mark would cut in front of me at the last second, hoping to confuse the defense. Coach is a fun guy, and let us run that. It worked perfectly, as Mark went unprotected for a split second, giving me an easy little shovel-pass to him for the win. After the game, it had occurred to me that I wasn't stressed, and that I'd done it all calmly. I looked up into the crowd to pump my fists to them, but then I saw Jessica. She gave me a smile and a subtle head-nod. That's when I realized "I did it. I won the biggest game of my life. Hello NBC!!!" I jumped led the dog-pile on Mark, as I think we'd all just realized what we had done.
That weekend, phones were ringing off the hook! Everyone had just seen me play two of the best games of my life on national television; NBC. Now, I won't say which schools exactly, but know many were from BCS Conferences, High-Prestige Programs, and what I believe to be National Championship Contenders. The only hard part was no one directly came out and offered me the starting job. Some mid-major teams did, but the only one I was vaguely interested in was Navy. With their triple option, and their incredible coach; Paul Johnson, I think I could be a really nice fit there. Then again, do I really want to be a marine for the rest of my life? I'll have to think about it.
School was great yesterday. Things with Jessica and me are looking great, but I don't really know what our official status is. We'll be, fairly obviously, flirting with each other, but nothing too serious; no holding hands, going out, and no more kisses! Oh well, that might change tomorrow. The seniors at our school are going to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio. Officially it's for a class, but we all know it's a senior trip. It's supposed to be some spook-fest type thing. Jessica and I plan on spending the trip hanging out with each other. This could be a real great place to star our relationship, or move it forward, or whatever we're at right now, make it better. I'm not making any sense right now, but love will do some stupid things to you. Did I just say 'love'. Forget I said anything. I'm way over-thinking this. Lets just hope we have a good time!
So yeah, Halloween tomorrow. If anything, I'm just gonna go as a football player. No helmet though. In case I do get a little kiss that night, I don't what it to be through a facemask! Now, even though we have no game this week, our game on the 9th of November is enough to keep us occupied. It will be our biggest gae of the season by far. We're off to Mullen High School, located on the other side of Denver. They're our biggest rivals, and biggest competition so far. They've won the past 3 state championships, and have always been our biggest challenge. Uf we're to prove we're the best there is in Colorado, we're going have to get past Mullen. You can count on me preparing 100% on this game as soon as we get back from San Antonio.
Well, I have some studying to do, a bit of rehearsing to finish, and some cologne to buy for tomorrow; can't have Jessica smelling my sweaty football equipment. Anyways guys, thanks for reading this and supporting me through all this stress. You've helped a lot, and you got me through that big game. Here's to me getting through Mullen next week, but more importantly, getting through my half-date with Jessica tomorrow. Wish me luck guys, I may need. And have a happy Halloween!

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/west_virginia.png
West Virginia still sits atop Stone's list, for many reasons. He has a great relationship with their head coach; Rich Rodriguez. He suits the spread option offense perfectly, as a quarterback. And with the talent that could be surrounding him next year; Pat White, Steve Slaton and Noel Devine, West Virginia looks to have a great chance at the national championship. Even without Stone, the Mountaineers have hit the top ten, and look to win out and possibly get a shot at the National Championship, and at least a Big East Title. With the great coaching, great surrounding talent, and perfect playbook, we believe Stone will be committing to West Virginia very soon.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/oregon.pnghttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/illinois-1.pnghttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/florida.png
We believe Isaiah Stone puts these three teams in the same boat. All three teams run a unique Spread Option Offense, in which Stone would be a prototypical quarterback. All three teams are from major conferences, and have a good at winning them. Oregon and Illinois both have fantastic Junior running backs, in Jonathon Stewart and Rashard Mendenhall, whereas Florida may have the best coach in college football; Urban Meyer. If Stone is looking for a great supporting cast, look for him to choose Oregon or Illinois. If he's looking for the best coach and the best playbook, look no further than Florida. However, he may have competition, as Illinois has a great freshman quarterback, in Juice Williams. Gainesville might even have the best Sophomore in college football, with Tim Tebow at the helm of the offense. If Isaiah Stone is hoping to start his first game as a freshman, he would not be a good fit in Florida or Illinois. Thus, we leave Oregon as his favourite Big-Conference Spread-Option school, as they have the best record, a great junior running back, and a senior quarterback, thus Stone could get the start as a freshman. We believe if things don't go well with West Virginia, Oregon will have the best shot at him, followed by Illinois and Florida.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/southern_cal.pnghttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/virginia_tech.pnghttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/colorado.png
If Stone doesn't wish to play in a Spread Option playbook, we believe these three will have the best shot at him. If he doesn't wish to play quarterback for a Spread Option Offense it could be for two reasons. One, he wishes to play running back after all. Or two, he wishes to play in a more pro-style pass offense, in attempt to make his pro-stock higher come his senior season. Both reasons point directly to USC. USC has developed two of the finest quarterbacks in college football history in the last couple years; Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart. They have also been dubbed the 'Tailback U' , as the have developed some of the finest halfbacks in NCAA history, most recently with Reggie Bush, and in the past with Hall-of-Famers such as OJ Simpson. If Stone wishes to change his playing style, look no further than USC. Stone has also shown interest in Virginia Tech, mainly because of Head Coach Frank Beamer. Beamer was able to turn Michael Vick into one of the finest quarterbacks in school history, and the most dynamic player in the NFL. If Stone wishes to continue his career in the pros, but remain the same game-changer he is today, look for him to attend Virginia Tech, where Beamer may be able to turn him into an NFL Superstar. Our final team in this group is the Colorado Buffaloes. Colorado is the closest BCS-Conference school to Isaiah Stone's hometown of Denver, and if Stone wishes to stay close to home, while still playing in a big conference with a chance at a National Championship one day, look for him to attend CU. With the campus being only 25 miles away from his house, we may see Stone being Colorado's hometown hero.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/navy.pnghttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/byu.pnghttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Jeremy7679/Logos/NCAA/utah.png
We believe if it weren't for the major commitment needed to attend Navy, Stone would have placed Navy at the top of his list. With Paul Johnson and the very successful triple option offense Navy runs, it would seem Stone would fall in love with it and commit to Navy. While the first part of that statement is true; Isaiah Stone does love Paul Johnson's offense, he is not ready to commit his lifestyle to that of a marine. He is not sure if that is where he would like to advance with his life, especially if he believes he could be pro-bound after his college career. Stone's other two favourite Mid-Majors include rivals BYU and Utah. Both are located fairly close to Stone's hometown, and have very prestigious programs for non-BCS teams. Both run Spread Offenses, in which Stone could improve his passing skills, but still be a very dynamic player. With the talent surrounding him, and fairly easy schedule, he could probably lead one of these programs to an undefeated season, a BCS Bowl, and possibly even a National Championship. If Stone is willing to bypass the BCS-Conference hype, look for him to be quarterbacking one of the teams in the Holy War next year.
Coach's Quotes
"Runs like a back, throws like a QB, trucks like a fullback. The complete package."
- West Virginia Coach, Rich Rodriguez.
"May not be the fastest, strongest or biggest guy on the field. But he'll always beat you."
- Oregon Coach, Mike Bellotti.
"Comes out in a bizarre package and can beat you to the inside with his strength, to the outside with his speed, or over the top with his arm. Is this kid related to Tebow?"
- Florida Coach, Urban Meyer.
"I've coached kids how to run the option for years now, and none of the quarterbacks have the perfect decision making I'm looking for. This kid has it."
- Paul Johnson, Navy Coach.
Stone has already visited the West Virginia campus, which he described as "An amazing experience." He has yet to schedule any more visits, leading us to believe West Virginia is far and beyond others on his list. Unless there is a dramatic change sometime soon, I think we can all expect Stone to be wearing the Blue and Gold next year. With that being said, don't overlook schools such as Oregon; high-prestige schools with great surrounding talent and a good chance at a National Championship. We could also see Stone possibly playing in-state with CU, or maybe ducking the BCS completely and playing with Paul Johnson, or committing to a great school in the MWC. All that can be said at this point is that WVU is far and beyond other contenders for Isaiah Stone, and that the other 9 in his top ten will need to up the anti, if they're expecting to Isaiah Stone to consider them. Schools not in his top ten we believe should give up at this point. He's narrowing his list down by the day, and chances of him committing to a school not on his top-ten list at this point, are astronomical. Unless your name is Rich Rodriguez, don't be getting your hopes too high for this once in a lifetime athlete.

You haven't met people like that? All upper body, no lower body.
Besides, 400 is really good for squatting. But he's nicknamed the 'Battlekreuzer' for a reason. He's a tank! He set the school record for bench-pressing and he's ranked a 4-star on rivals.com ;)
Thanks for posting btw, much appreciated :)

I'm thinking of moving the Syracuse dynasty. I beat UL Monroe 105-14 and Myrick returned two punts for touchdowns. I beat UConn 79-7; he had three PR TDs. I beat # 22 undefeated WVU 90-9; he had two PR TDs; Gilmore had his first KR TD of the season.

SURE AIN'T! But those are great stats for a Dynasty's reputation. Myrick has 10 PRTDs, now. Gilmore has 2 KRTDs. Stanback has almost 700 rushing yards. Stephens has 3000 yards, 39 TDs, and 9 picks passing. Two or three rushing TDs. Only two games, left, though. I'm tryna get Stanback to 800-900 yards rushing yards. He has like 13 TDs.

Blog Update #9
November 6, 2007
Isaiah Stone
Man, it seems like forever since I've talked to you guys. I guess that's what a week without football will do to you; playing football, don't worry, I've been preparing 99% of the time. And I think you all know what that other 1% is. I'll tell you all about Halloween and some of the events that followed, and I'll help bring you up to the scale of our next game. So enough with the chit chat, let's get started:
As I told you all last week, on Halloween, all of us seniors from East High got to go on a 'school' trip to San Antonio, at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It was incredible. I felt like I was in a scene from some scary movie, except it was about 100 times bigger than the dark room someone would be in, and I wasn't quite as scared; I was with Jessica the whole time. I'll tell you about how that situation panned out in a bit, but I don't think you understand the atmosphere of this place. It was huge! Everything was outside, there were flashing lights, loud-playing spooky music, and people in scary costumes paid to go around and scare us. Now, I will say, I might have screamed once or twice that night, but nothing bad enough to ruin my reputation.
Now, about Jessica. I know you all heard about what's been happening with us last week. I got to go on an unofficial 'date' with her, but it sure felt like a real one to me. The whole time she would kinda squeeze closer to me; pretending to be scared and all, when I think we both knew she was 100% fine. I think the one with the fastest heartbeat in San Antonio that night was me. I was nervous the entire time, I didn't want to embarrass myself by getting scared, and I didn't want Jessica to see I was nervous around her; I wanted to prove to her I could be natural around her. But man, when you like someone that much, it's hard to treat them as you would any other. I think she might realize that now. Will it help our relationship? Hurt it? I don't know that right now, but I do know that Halloween was one great kick-start to things between us.
For the first couple hours, we were pretty calm. Nothing was too dark at that time, so it was just a natural little chat at the theme park, and a bit of dinner with some of our friends; I was really pissed off about that. I thought we'd be able to have a nice little dinner in the sit-down restaurant across the street from Six Flags, but just as we were leaving, a bunch of people from the cast caught us. They wanted to know if we'd all go down to the Pizza Pizza with them; the dirty one inside the Six Flags amusement park. We couldn't say no, so we went with them. Man, that really got to me. But after dinner, everything seemed to go a lot better; a lot more the way I had planned it.
When it got dark, that's when you could tell we were at The Six Flags 'Spookfest'. Almost every light was flashing on and off, the music was blaring through all the speakers, and you could hear the screams from the crowd. For the first hour or two in this 'spookiness', I tried to prove my braveness. We went through every haunted house possible; every single one. Man, trying to stay calm during those situations is not easy. It also doesn't help if you're scared to death of Ghosts and Zombies. Man, let's hope I don't need therapy after that! But after these two hours, the ones I will dread for the rest of my life, everything turned more into the 'date' I had pictured. We got away from some of the scary stuff, and went on the rides. My favourite part wasn't the loopty loops, or throwing up my hands while going 100 miles an hour downhill; but the time we spent alone, just talking to eachother. For the most part, this was in line for the rides. We were away from all our school friends, all my football buddies, and we could just be ourselves. I think we really got to know who the other was.
The best part was at the end of the night, when we decided to go on the huge Farris Wheel, and man, this was one bigass wheel! We went around a couple times, laughing and holding hands when we got scared from the tilting, but then the ride stopped. We were, I swear, at the very top of the ride. At first, we thought they were letting the people off at the bottom. After staying in the same place for 10 minutes, we got the picture. When we knew we'd be there for a while, we just sat back in the moonlight together, and talked a bit. About nothing major; no football, no Romeo and Juliet, just fun stuff; the latest celebrity news, some jokes we knew, you know, just the little stuff that can make you talk and laugh. We stayed up there for about an hour, and just had, I think, the best conversation I've ever had with anyone. And it was about nothing; reminded me of Seinfeld really. And just as the fire truck's ladder came up to get us (yeah, they had to get a freaking fire truck to get us down!) Jessica whispered something softly in my ear, and we kissed right in the moonlight, on top of the Farris Wheel. How cliché! But I wouldn't have had it any other way.
Now, after that eventful day in San Antonio, I knew I had to bounce back the next couple days, and focus on Mullen High School for Friday. It's going to be a huge game. Both of us go in undefeated, and we have our bad blood. In last year's championship game, they cheap-shotted Mark in the early first, and we couldn't bounce back. If you ask me, they're the most hated team in Colorado; besides us, with the new NBC deal and all. That also brings up the point that NBC is making this a big deal of this. Headlines in the commercials include: "Two Come In Undefeated, Only One Will Leave", "Denver Showdown!", and my favourite "No Rocky Love". NBC uses whatever info they can dig up on us, and Mullen's giving it to them. They're really taking the press to their heads. Talking shit in their interviews over the weekend, calling us overrated, and even guaranteeing the win. I can't believe this! They may have had the most NCAA Division I-A recruits in Colorado the last couple years, but we're not going to let that phase us. We have the best team in the state, the best running attack, and the player with the biggest heart; me, Isaiah Stone. And when we go onto the Mullen Campus this Friday, you can expect there to be a brawl or two. We just don't plain get along, and with the many implications in this game, don't be hoping for a wholesome, fair game.
Another important thing riding on this game; the state playoffs. With us 5-0, we only need one more win to clinch the state playoffs. In Colorado, if you're above .500 on the year, you'll get in. With our 11-game schedule this year, we only need 6. This is game 6 for us, and we can clinch our playoff berth right now while we can. I know we all want to win this game, and we're all preparing. For the first time I can remember in a while, coach made us take our weekends off for mandatory practice. I think it just goes to tell you what's riding on this game!
Now, I have a bit of biology to do for tomorrow, I have a bunch of lines I haven't even read in the play for tomorrow, and we have the biggest game of our lives coming up in 3 days. I'll be sure to keep you updated on a weekly basis, and I'll be sure to let you know how things go football and Jessica. Until next week, wish us all luck!
P.S: I'll be on NBC Thursday night to talk about the big game on Friday. Be sure to set your Tivo's. It's Thursday Night (November 8th) at 8:00 p.m on NBC-HS. I'm sure they'll even ask about the blog, so you may see some of your names in there. Keep your eyes open guys!

NBC-HS Presents: Isaiah Stone
http://bp0.blogger.com/_r9eiPBELMBM/SDMAOfzOd1I/AAAAAAAAAxc/q4Iwfndqk6g/s320/nbc+logo.jpg
Bob Costas: Welcome to NBC-HS, I'm Bob Costas. Welcome back to Thursday Night Preview, here on our High School network. This is the show where we bring you all the latest news on the top football recruits in the nation, and some heads-up on the big games tomorrow night. But first up, we've scheduled an interview with our big star here on NBC-HS. You know him well, we've shown a couple of his East High Angels' games this year, and this week he and the Angels will be taking on their biggest challenge yet. Ladies and gentlemen; Isaiah Stone. *Standing ovation from the audience*
http://www.byoblu.com/img/blog/posts/bob-costas.jpg
Isaiah Stone: Wow thanks, guys. I didn't really expect anything that big.
Bob: So Isaiah, I got to ask, how's it been the last couple days.
Isaiah: Nothing too major. I mean I feel I was really able to refresh myself over the past week, with no game and all. But it's more eventful than you think. I mean, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning may be tired, but at least they don't have algebra homework due on Monday.
Bob: *Laughs much more than the joke warranted* Oh, you are one funny guy Isaiah. Or should I say Mr. Stone.
Isaiah: Please Mr. Costas, I'm still a kid, remember. This is the high school branch. I'm only seventeen!
Bob: *Laughs a little too much again* Well, I suppose that's right. "Mr. Costas" , I love this kid! Now Isaiah, we're going to get a little more serious. Tell us a little about your opponents tomorrow night.
Isaiah: Well, tomorrow we're facing the Mullen High School Mustangs. Now, over the past decade, they've dominated Colorado football. I initially intended to go their, but my childhood coach directed me to East High...
Bob: So you're saying you went to East High against your will!?
Isaiah: Please Mr. Costas, let me finish. Well, I initially planned on going to Mullen because of their great football program, but because Coach Peterson was a gym teacher at East High, I decided to attend there. Since then, I've loved it. Far from ‘hating’ it. I love being an Angel!
Bob: Some story! Now, tell us about your school's rivalry with Mullen High since your enrollment at East High.
Isaiah: Well, when I came here as a Freshman, our school still wasn't that great at football. But because we were both schools in Denver, we have a geometric-rivalry of some sort. When I started at quarterback the next couple seasons is when we started to have a more "football rivalry". We surprised them in the regular season my sophomore year, and ended their hopes of a perfect regular season in the final game. However, we weren't able to get into the finals, as they beat us in the semis and took home the hardware. Junior season we faced them in the first game of the season. It was a well-fought game, but we came out victorious. We had a rematch on the biggest stage, and they beat us by being little... well, I can't say it on TV.
Bob: Wow! So, rather than swearing and getting us kicked off the air *Laughing at his own joke* , why don't you tell us what happened in the championship game.
Isaiah: Well, our most dynamic player; Mark Johnson, was killing them in the first quarter. Then, they design a defensive play to cheap shot him. He gets a concussion; out for the game. I try to win our team the game, but my frustration caught up with me, and I took a 15-yard penalty by punching one of their linebackers in the face. AT the time it felt deserving, but it put us out of field goal range, and they drove down the field and scored on our defenseless prevent D.
Bob: That doesn't sound like too wholesome a game, and...
Isaiah: No, it wasn't. The refs were on their side that game, an have been their entire reign as champions. We've gotten sick of some of the things that have happened in the past, and we're going to take it out on the scoreboard. I don't care if they've had the most NCAA Division I-A recruits in the past 5 years, I don't care that they're the 4-time reigning champions, we're going to destroy them on the field tomorrow!
Bob: Wow, you sound pumped Isaiah.
Isaiah: Your damn straight I am, I...... I......... I'm gonna stop right there. I'm not gonna let my emotions get caught up with me again. That didn't go so well last time on national television. Just forget I said anything...
Bob: It's alright Isaiah, this is great TV. Keep it up!
Isaiah: No Mr. Costas, you don't understand. I think I've learned a bit from my past. Letting my emotions get to me has gotten me into a rivalry I don't even want to be in with TP, it's cost our team a championship, and it's proven to the world I have a bad temper. I need to let loose from that personality. If I want to be playing some big college ball next year, my attitude has to be cleaned up.
Bob: That's very mature of you Isaiah. I wish my kids were more like you. And what you said, about big college ball, brings me to another point everyone's excited about.
Isaiah: I think I know where you're going with this...
Bob: And the big question is: which school/s are you leaning towards?
Isaiah: I hate answering this question. It's probably the hardest question to answer besides the cliché "does this dress make me loom fat?". No matter which way I answer, there's going to be more disappointment than there is optimism. *Crowd laughs and cheers* This is my life we're talking about; my future. I'm not sure where I'm headed yet, and I'm not sure how I want my football life to advance.
Bob: Alright, that's fair. But if I asked you to choose between your favourites in different categories, would you be able to answer?
Isaiah: More than likely.
Bob: Alright. So, there's a lot of talk of you possibly running the spread option next year, as you'd be a prototypical QB. Even your East High Angels run some forms of the Spread Option. Any favourites in that class?
Isaiah: Well, I'm really liking West Virginia. Me and my buddies have already visited the campus, and it's amazing. If their star juniors return next year, we may be able to bring an offense to the Big East never seen since the Miami glory days. I've also considered Illinois and possibly Oregon, but I'm much preferring Mr. Rodriguez and his group over in West Virginia.
Bob: Sounds like the front-runner to me. How about a pro-style offense?
Isaiah: No doubt USC. Their ability to turn even average players into NFL Superstars is incredible. The only thing really keeping me from going there is the depth chart situation. I may not even be able to start until Senior Year, if that. Well, there's always the Matt Cassel possibility; that I still go pro without playing in college. But I want to be more than that; especially since my main reason for going to USC would be pro-conditioning.
Bob: And how about just option-oriented offenses?
Isaiah: Really, the only thing keeping me from committing to my coaching idol, Paul Johnson, is the fact that Navy is more than a college; it's a lifestyle. I've been thinking about going there for a while. Being a marine, getting great training and serving my country. It all sounds great, but I'm not sure if it'd be my thing. If it were just football, I'd have already committed there. But because of the change it would bring to my life, I just can't make up my mind right now over a decision that would change my life.
Bob: Wow, those re quite the options. We're running out of time Isaiah, but I just want you to know you're a great kid, and I wish you the best of luck wherever you go.
Isaiah: Thanks Mr. Costas, that means a lot coming from you.
Bob: Isaiah Stone will be playing their biggest game of the season against in-city rivals, Mullen High. Be sure to tune in tomorrow night on NBC-HS for Friday Night Football. Isaiah, it's been great talking to you. Best of luck, young man.
Isaiah: Thanks everyone!
Bob: We'll be right back with our panel's predictions for tomorrow. Ladies and gentlemen; Isaiah Stone! *Standing ovation from crowd*

Blog Update #10
November 9, 2007
Mark Johnson
Hey guys, not much time to talk. By the way, this is Isaiah's buddy, Mark. He gave me a call a couple minutes ago, and told me to write everything he said down, and post it here on the blog. I don't have much more information other than this. So here it is:
-------------------------------------------------------------
Well guys, I got myself in a quite a situation here. You may be wondering why the update is coming on a Friday night, rather than a Tuesday afternoon. Trust me, I have my reasons. To be honest, I'm scared, and I'm not sure what the consequences of this will be. But for now, I think it's just best if I talk about it. So here it goes.
Well, it was one hell of a game. I swear, it was harder going through the pre-game stress than the actual game. NBC Commercials galore, the entire student body giving me fist-props and wishing me luck in the big game, and Bob Costas, freaking Bob Costas scheduling a prime time interview with me. I'd like to say I was enjoying it, but really, I just wanted to play the game. Well, we got that chance earlier tonight, and it was quite a game.
The first quarter was great. We were pounding the ball with Chris, sending pitches to the outside with Mark, and just me confusing the hell out of the D. They kept trying to get inside my head, when all I could do was get inside their endzone. At the end of the first we had a healthy lead at 14-0. The second quarter is when their pass-attack really killed our defense. They got back-to-back touchdowns, and recovered Mark's fumble for a TD. Right after the kickoff, when everyone was feeling down, I called a timeout to pump up the team. I gave them a little pep-talk. Talked about the rivalry, NBC, and all the people we couldn't let down because of 7 measly points. Made sure they knew our great O combined with good D would easily get us back ahead before halftime, and it did. We scored a quick, unexpected, long-bomb to Mark downfield. Take that to you naysayers to our passing game! And then, after an interception by our Safety, John, got us inside the redzone, we pounded it with Chris to about the 1. And on third down, yours truly ran a QB draw from the East Angel to put us up 28-21 going into the second half.
At halftime, as we were running into the locker room, I had an NBC-HS guy come up to me and ask me "Do you think you'll be able to hold on to this lead?". To that I responded "Why hold on when you can extend it...?" I gave him a little wink, and jogged back into the locker room. Coach talked about how we were taking too many stupid penalties in the trenches. Our blockers aren't the biggest guys, hell, Chris is bigger than them. So whenever a defender gets by, which is most cases on a pass play, they pretty much tear off the jersey. Coach made sure we knew we couldn't be doing anything like that, sent around some Gatorade, and shot us back on the field. We were pumped, and ready for some more.
The third quarter was basic ball-possession. We took an 11 play drive down to their 25, wasting a good 10 minutes, when our field-goal attempt got blocked. Luckily we were able to fall on it, but it basically diminished what our offense had just done. They went three and out again, and we wasted another drive just killing the clock. This brought us to the fourth quarter, still with a score of 28-21 in our favour. Now, the fourth quarter isn't one I'll soon forget.
We missed the field goal again, from a make-able distance, and allowed them to air-raid their way down the field to tie the game. With about 8 minutes left, the game was tied and we had the ball. It took us about 3-4 minutes of clock-wasting to get to their 35 yard line (our idiot kick returner caught the ball at the 2-yard line, then accidentally stepped out, so it took a couple first downs to make it that far). Then, we decide to call out a pass play. It was supposed to look like a triple option, but after the fake handoff to the B-Back, Mark would go long. The defense wasn't ready for it, and I bombed it out to Mark. I couldn't believe how much air I got under it; it must have been the farthest I've ever thrown the pigskin! Mark caught the ball in the back of the endzone for 6. But hold on, there's a flag - holding on the left guard! Of course, how could I expect us to make a successful pass play without another damn holding call?
Well, backed up even further, we decide to call a Mark Johnson reverse, lining him up at WR. He ducked out of bounds after about 13 yards, when two guys on the Mullen bench sandwich him with two hard tackles to his head! Mark was out cold. Our bench stormed over to the Mullen side, and we started to punch anyone we could get our hands on. After about 45 seconds of brawling, the refs got it under control. They then kick half of our defense out of the game, and give us a 30-yard penalty, making it 1st and 50 (as it was already 1st and 20). I start yelling my ass off to the ref. "Are you fucking kidding me!? Did you not see the fucking blindside hit from the guys on their fucking bench! I sure hope they're paying you enough, because you're hospital bill will be a fuckload when I'm done with you!!!" He then blows the whistle, and gives me an unsportsmanlike penalty, backing it up to 1st and 65. The Mullen coaches were all high-fiving each other, and giving slight winks to each other. I couldn't believe it; money was ruining the game. Money has been buying Mullen all the championships over the years!
Well, the next play, I think my adrenaline had been built up to the max. I told my guys to block, and get the fuck out of my way. I called a QB Draw, and, I think, trucked every single player on the field. A Ray Lewis-Mike Singletary combo wouldn't have been able to stop me on that play; I was livid! I took the ball 90 yards for the angriest touchdown of my life. Then I see that same referee call a holding penalty on our wide receiver, who DIDN'T TOUCH ANYONE!!! He literally stood still and watched the play! This made me so angry. I just was just sprinting back to this referee randomly screaming every curse in the book. Then, when I make it to the line of scrimmage, I hear a familiar voice yelling at me. It was Aunt Teressa's son; Nigel. He must have grown up on the other side of Denver, and gone to Mullen I guess. So, as I'm running back to this referee screaming my lungs out, Nigel says "Tell it to your dead-beat dad!". I just lost it. You can offend me all you want, but if you insult my dad, I'll kill you. He knew my dad died, and had this theory he ditched us as a family. I ran past him for half a second, making him think he'd won the argument; I turn around and start whaling on him. I beat the living shit out of this guy! I too his helmet off and started rearranging his face. He got what he had coming!
Now, of course, I get ejected from the game, we're backed up even further inside our redzone, and I have to watch the rest of the game in the locker room TV. Me, and most of our defensive guys that got ejected form the brawl, had the privilege of watching our team fall apart and lose an embarrassing 42-28 in the fourth quarter. Coach didn't even come in the locker room after the game; he just left. Luckily, Mark woke up from his unconsciousness. This was a good hour and a half after the game. I was the only one that stayed back and waited for the trainer and Mark. We told Geoff, the trainer, that we'd bus our way back home. As soon as we saw him leave, I could tell by the look in Mark's eyes what we were about to go do.
We go around campus, looking for those sons of bitches that’d cost us the game. It didn't take long, as Nigel and two of the guys that sandwiched Mark were waiting by their car in the parking lot. There was some shit-talking as we approached them, but before anything serious was said, Mark clocked a guy right in the head. His other buddy held Mark down, and they tried to double-team him. Nigel tried to hold me off, but I threw his ass down, and gave the other guys a couple 'reasons' to leave Mark alone. As Mark got up, with a bloody face, I told them "You touch me once, and your paying for it!” Nigel then said, "Isn't that your mom says to her 'customers'?" I let go of Mark, and we both just went at them. I beat the shit out of Nigel, and helped out Mark with the two bigger guys. For a good minute, we were raising hell on them. After that minute, we decided to stop. Our fists were bloody, and we didn't want to actually kill them. When they got up, with their faces all bloody, bruises galore, I see Nigel put a confident smirk on his face. He put both fingers in his mouth, and made a loud whistle. Out of the darkness, I see the entire Mullen High Football Team come out of nowhere, surrounding us. Nigel then yells "Get 'em!". Mark and I try to hold our ground, but there was only so much we could take. I tried to cover my face, but when I was on the ground, held by a couple people, Nigel came up to me and gave me one huge blow!
Next thing I know, I wake up. I'm in the front seat of a car, locked in by the tampered seatbelt. I look in the next seat, and there's a good 7 or 8 empty beer bottles. I'd been set up! They knocked me out, and trapped me in here! When I look in my rear-view mirror, I see a cop coming up to the car. He looks at the license plate, and the bottles beside me, and then says, "This car was reported stolen. I'm going to have to ask you to step out of the car, sir."
How could this be happening?
------------------------------------------------------------
And then the phone cut out! That's all the info he gave me!? What the hell am I supposed to do with that!!!??? All I know is that Isaiah got knocked out cold, and after that, they let me go. I jetted outta there and got home as fats as I could. When I get home, I check my answering machine, and hear this message from Isaiah, telling me to post it on the blog. This is all I know up to this point, and I have no clue where Isaiah is! What the hell am I going to do now?

Hello Isaiah Stone. I have been following your life for quite a while now. I've ascertained you are quite the football player, and quite the human being. My associates and I have even started following your blog, and we must say, you have quite the story. We've kept track of how your life has been progressing, and although you may not have noticed, we've attended many of your high school games. You son, have talent. Now, with that talent comes great responsibility. Which leads me to my next point.
You've given us quite a scare with your latest blog update. According to your friend Mark, you've gotten yourself into quite the situation. From what we've read on your blog, you must have every reason to be angry. You were only defending yourself, and you got pummeled because of it. Now, from looking at all the details of your latest blog update, we've determined there can be no way you should have been arrested that night. Why does my opinion matter? Well, Mr. Stone, my associates and I want to give you the kind of help we feel an innocent man, such as yourself, deserves.
We are offering to give you legal aid in this matter. It will come free-of-charge, as we feel getting your talented, innocent behind out of custody would highly be to your benefit. The legal aid we are offering you is some of the best Colorado can offer you. Mr. Frederick Harrison is highly considered to be one of the greatest lawyers in Colorado's history. It just so happens he is great friends with one of my associates, and will be willing to help you. My associates and I will handle all of the financial conditions; we just want you to worry about you for the time being.
Mr. Harrison has only given us this much information at this point. He is reviewing all aspects of your case, and is thinking of ways the blog may be used as evidence when the trial comes. However, his main priority is ensuring he is 100% prepared for your bail-hearing tomorrow. He recommends you do not say anything at Bail Court, as it will only prove your emotional instability, thus hurting your chances for bail. He also recommends you do not plead guilty. At any time, if you are asked questions, request your lawyer; Mr. Frederick Harrison. Until your official Bail Hearing tomorrow, he suggests you stay quiet, try to keep a low profile overnight, and try to be optimistic. You'll be out of custody before you know it.
Also, know that my associates and I will do everything to ensure that this does not become public knowledge. We are not implying anything illegal. Just know we have our ways, and it will not be a problem. When speaking to friends or family, do not give them any information about last night. If others ask, let them know you slept over at Mark's home for the weekend. If they ask why, state it was because of the emotional trauma that came over you after the loss, and you couldn't face anyone but him; your best friend. After you make bail tomorrow, tell Mark you 'spent the weekend' with Jessica. Tell him you need him to cover up for you by saying you spent the weekend at his place, as you don't want other friends or family to find out about the 'weekend' you and Jessica allegedly spent.
This should be common knowledge, but do not bring us up at any point, to anyone. Our identity must be kept secret, as it cannot be uncovered that we attempted to assist an alleged criminal. It's nothing personal, it's just business. We hope to contact you again very soon, as we want this mess to go away as much as you do.
Sincerely,
TC

Thanks man. And a quick tip, just buy into your story. When I start writing my Isaiah Stone blogs, I'm never REALLY into it when I start the first paragraph. When I get into the second, third, etc. I'm 100% into. I buy into the fact that I'm Isaiah Stone, and I kinda just naturally write what I'm thinking in my head :) . That's why I'm able to write so much; it's not hard for me, as I can buy into it, and I enjoy it! :) Just have fun with it, and there's no doubt it'll be great ;)

Bail Hearing
November 11, 2007
Isaiah Stone
Judge Peter Dickenson: Who's next?
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: We are here for bail hearing of Mr. Isaiah Stone, your worship.
The Honourable Peter Dickenson: Is the lawyer for the accused, Isaiah Stone, present?
Defense Lawyer Frederick Harrison: Yes, your worship. Harrison, initial “F”, for the record, your worship.
Judge Peter Dickenson: Proceed, District Attorney.
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: The primary charge is 'Theft of an unattended vehicle without keys'. It is alleged the accused, Isaiah Stone, broke into the car of one; Nigel Jackson, without keys or the consent of Mr. Jackson. He was then pulled over that night by a policemen who claimed he was unconscious at the time, most likely due to his consumption of the empty beer bottles next to him in the passenger car seat, which would be underage drinking and DUI.
Defense Lawyer Frederick Harrison: Your worship, her last statements are not factual. A breathalyzer test was performed shortly after the arrest, and it was proven that my client was not under the influence at the time of the arrest.
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: Although we're not sure how long he may have been unconscious... The alcohol may have worn off.
Isaiah Stone: I didn't drink anything! I was set up!
Judge Peter Dickenson: Please Mr. Stone, do not interrupt.
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: As I was saying, it is very common in cases when one can be in the state unconsciousness for so long, that their blood-alcohol levels lower, enough-so that it would drop below that of the legal limit.
Defense Lawyer Frederick Harrison: Your worship, all of the facts in this case are circumstantial at this point. We would need to go before a trial to further discuss these issues. For the time being, Ms. Thompson must realize we are at a bail-hearing, and we are here to determine if my client is prohibited bail.
Judge Peter Dickenson: Agreed Mr. Harrison. Ms. Thompson, please don't turn this into a trial. We have 30 more bail-hearings after this, and we cannot have you wasting our time with circumstantial evidence, especially considering it is a bail hearing.
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: Understood, your worship.
Judge Peter Dickenson: Now that we have things somewhat settled, we will allow the District Attorney, Ms. Thompson, the floor.
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: Thank you. Your worship, Mr. Stone committed a very serious offense; theft of a vehicle valued over thirty thousand dollars. It can only be presumed that a character that would do such a thing, would certainly be a danger to our society if let out on bail. Your worship, Mr. Stone cannot be granted bail, as he has committed a serious offense and, as in the past with the majority of other federal criminals, will likely put society in danger again.
Judge Peter Dickenson: Mr. Harrison?
Defense Lawyer Frederick Harrison: Well, your worship, we believe the District Attorney's case is not enough to maintain a, possibly, innocent man in custody. Your worship, the four conditions that must be considered in a bail hearing include, one, the nature and seriousness of the offense, two, the character, antecedents, associations and community ties of the accused, three, the accused’s bail record, and four, the strength of the evidence. As for the seriousness of the offense, theft is in most cases a misunderstanding by the two sides. In Colorado's history, more than 70% of the time have the charges for theft been dropped before a final decision was made, making it the most dropped offense in our justice system, thus most likely not a serious offense. My client has a very good character. He is currently in the honour role in his final year of high school, he is the leader and captain of his football team, and the lead in the school musical. He has a clean criminal record in the past, and previous to this, has been an honourable citizen. My client does not have a bail record, ala his clean criminal record. And as for the strength of evidence, most, if not all, of the evidence is circumstantial at this point. It is highly likely that Mr. Stone will not be found guilty when the trial does proceed, but for the time being, it is evident Mr. Isaiah Stone must be let out on bail, underlined by our justice system.
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: *In slight shock* Well...um, if Mr. Isaiah Stone is given bail *Frederick winks at Isaiah* may I ask for some conditions of bail, your worship?
Judge Peter Dickenson: Certainly.
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: I would like to place a 11:00 pm curfew on Isaiah Stone. If he were to be out of his home at night, it could only lead to more trouble, such as the night of November 9th. I think it should be evident his license should be revoked. Driving is what got him into trouble in the first place, and we cannot allow him to be a possible danger to society by being on the streets.
Isaiah Stone: I don't even have a car!
Judge Peter Dickenson: Mr. Stone! Please remain quiet as Ms. Thompson finishes.
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: Thank you your worship. I would also like to assure Mr. Stone can not be within 5 miles of Nigel Jackson, as it may only cause more tension and a possibility of more crimes being committed.
Isaiah Stone: Mullen is like only 3 miles from East High's campus. That' ridiculous, how do you expect me to go to school!?
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: You should have thought about that before you committed a federal offense.
Isaiah Stone: Man, lady, I am gonna...!
Defense Lawyer Frederick Harrison: *Whispers* Shut up! You're not doing yourself any good.
Isaiah Stone: I don't care, she's...!
Defense Lawyer Frederick Harrison: *Whispers* Quiet! TC told you I'm in charge of you getting out of here, and I can't disappoint him, so stay quiet! *Speaking normally* Now, your worship. My client's accusations do not include anything physical. Nigel Jackson will be completely safe, as my client does not have a criminal, aggressive nature. Besides, his current high school; East High School, is located far too close to Nigel Jackson's; Mullen High School, for any sort of restraining order to be place.
Judge Peter Dickenson: Agreed Mr. Harrison. Are there any further statements, District Attorney?
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: None, your worship.
Judge Peter Dickenson: Then it is decided. Mr. Isaiah Stone will be granted bail under these conditions: he must not be outside his home after 11:00pm, and will have his driver's license revoked. Please sign your recognizance, and you may go Mr. Stone.
Isaiah Stone: Yes!!! *To Frederick* What's a recognizance?
Defense Lawyer Frederick Harrison: A paper you sign that says you promise to appear in court on your trial-date.
Isaiah Stone: Sweet! *Signs recognizance*. I guess I'm on my way... Oh wait, how will I get home?
Defense Lawyer Frederick Harrison: *Whispers* I'll give you a ride home! Now keep your voice down, you're looking very unprofessional!
Isaiah Stone: I don't care I'm a free man, WOOOOOOO-WEEEEE!!!! *Frederick drags Isaiah out the door *
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: *Murmurs to self* I'm going to make you pay Freddy Harrison. No one makes Michelle Thompson look bad. Especially in measly Bail Court!
Judge Peter Dickenson: What was that Ms. Thompson?
District Attorney Michelle Thompson: Oh, nothing your worship.
Judge Peter Dickenson: Alright. Who's next?

Local Football Hero Arrested
It has been discovered that Denver High-School football phenom, Isaiah Stone, was arrested Friday night, for reportedly stealing a man's car. Stone was found unconscious in the car, when arrested Friday Night, building the suspicion to DUI.
On Friday November 9th, Isaiah Stone was arrested for reportedly stealing a man's car. The car’s owner can only be identified as N.J. at this point. Stone was found unconscious in the stolen vehicle, beside him; an empty 'six-pack' of Bud Light beer. This has grown to many's suspicion that he had been illegally drinking the alcohol, as an underage 17-year old, and driving the stolen car under the influence. Stone was released on bail yesterday by the Denver Courthouse, where he’d been held in custody for the weekend.
Just days ago, was Isaiah Stone considered the face of suburban Denver. He'd been one of the best under-18 football players our nation had ever seen, he had been NBC's coverboy in their Friday Night Football program, he had even planned to compete in a highly anticipated skills competition at the end of BCS Bowl Week. Such a turn of events in the life of Isaiah Stone will not help the 5-1 East High School Angels' chances this season.
There was some suspicion as to how this did not become public knowledge earlier. Stone, who is an honour role student, football team captain, and will be playing the lead in his school's musical, seems to have covered his story very well. Many of the Court's records had been mysteriously missing from past couple days. However, due to the help of a District Attorney at The Denver Courthouse, the records were found. Denver Mayor, John Wright Hickenlooper, has stated that there will be no further investigation. "This is a kid we're talking about. We can't overreact because of the media attention…” states Hickenlooper. It still leads to the question, however, how could this have happened?
Stone's friends from school have all stated he claimed he was at his best friend's house for the weekend. When his best friend, M.J. , was questioned, he refused to comment, stating it was too much of a shock to let his emotions come out. We now know Mr. Stone’s stories are in, fact lies, as the Court Records have shown the time of arrest and time in custody took place over this weekend. Stone had only this to say. "This is a big misunderstanding. No crime was committed, and if you want to talk law, I'm going to have to ask for my lawyer." If this were a ‘misunderstanding’, one would assume there would be no reason to lie to family and friends. Just claim your innocence and wait for the trial. Why the suspicious cover-up story Mr. Stone?
As for Stone's football team, they have yet to comment, although it is believed Stone will be suspended from the football team. Along with Stone likely missing time, it was discovered East High's star running back, and Stone's best friend, M.J. , will miss the next 3-4 games because of the injuries suffered in the Angels' latest loss to the Mullen High Mustangs. With the East High School Angels on the brink of a playoff spot, needing only one more win, it is expected they shouldn't need their two biggest stars. However, from the mood of the school today, it is evident Stone was more than just a great quarterback at this school; he was an icon. Will the Angels be able to win without their star quarterback? We'll have to see as they take on St. Francis High this friday night on NBC.
The NCAA and NBC have yet to make a formal announcement of the consequences, but are expected to make one tonight. Although our law does state Stone is 'innocent until proven guilty' , NCAA president, Myles Brand, has stated time and time again "If they weren't in the situations in the first place, the incidents and accusations wouldn't have occurred." Brand is expected to treat Stone the same way, as he is a strong believer in strict punishment for violations of conduct. Stay tuned, as the Isaiah Stone saga will likely continue tonight, with the public announcements of both the NCAA and NBC.

NCAA and NBC Lay Down The Law
It was announced last night that the NCAA and NBC would punish Isaiah Stone heavily for his actions on Friday night. Stone himself, will be denied athletic scholarships from all American colleges, and his team, the East High Angels, will no longer be broadcast on NBC-HS.
As expected, last night, the NCAA and NBC formally responded to the actions of Isaiah Stone; the Denver High School quarterback charged for stealing a man's car. NCAA President, Myles Brand, announced Isaiah Stone would not be allowed to receive an athletic scholarship from any school, including the smaller schools in the FCS division. To make matters worse for Stone, NBC announced they were formally dropping him as their coverboy, and that his team, The East High Angels, would no longer be broadcast by NBC.
This will have a huge impact on Stone's future as a football player, as athletic scholarships is what prevents players, such as Stone, from paying the thousands of dollars each year for their education. Without receiving a scholarship, Stone would have to pay tens of thousands of dollars a year if he had any hope of playing for a BCS-Conference team. When most athletes make mistakes; breaking NCAA rules of conduct, they are allowed to head down to the FCS division, and continue their hopes of becoming a professional athlete. Stone does not have that privilege anymore, unless he counts on paying the tuition himself.
With Stone's current financial conditions, it may serve as a problem paying tuition. "We've had problems paying the rent each month. How can I be expected to get into a big-time school without an athletic scholarship?" Stone also continued to explain he'd even have to work at a part-time job nearing the end of months, because of the financial crisis. "This was a shot at me, and my situation. I hope you're all happy. You may have just ruined my life" stated Stone.
Isaiah Stone, once the coverboy for NBC's new broadcasting network; NBC-HS, and up and coming star in football, has dropped so far in these past few days. On the road to an undefeated season; possibly one of the best America has ever seen from a team, Isaiah's life has taken a big 180. America saw him lose his temper; get ejected late in a rivalry game, essentially losing the game for his team. We then find out he had stolen a car, late that night, and was found unconscious because of the beer bottles he had been illegally drinking. He now faces a sentence of up to 15 years, and will likely never see the football field again in his lifetime.
"Our intentions were never personal towards Isaiah [Stone]. We just feel we should set an example for all talented teenage football players alike. We cannot allow this kind of behaviour, and there will stiff punishments if you cannot abide by our expectations." stated NCAA president, Myles Brand. This is the largest punishment ever handed down by Brand in his five years of leadership in the National Collegiate Athletics Association. This is the first time ever, a high school student has been denied all athletic scholarships in America's history. This marks as a historic day, and a tragic one for the family of Stone.
"If they're going to punish me, can't they wait until after trial? Wait until the final decision is made, and I can guarantee I'll be acquitted of the charges. I should be innocent until proven guilty. [What] has our country come to?" claims Stone. Although our justice system does state this, Brand decided with the evidence given, and Stone's suspicious attempt to hide the facts of the case, it was necessary to jump to this conclusion.
The final decision made by the NCAA is for Stone to be denied any athletic scholarship from all schools within the NCAA; all schools in America. If Stone wants to continue his life as a professional football player, he will have to look beyond the United States for options. Look for Stone to possibly head North to a Canadian school, or maybe quit football altogether. Nonetheless, it is a drastic change in the life of Isaiah Stone, and will definitely affect the lives of many surrounding him. To make matters worse, he likely won't be the most popular student on campus, as his school will no longer be broadcast through NBC-HS, to the blame of him.
If you are a fan of college football, or even an NBC-HS lover, this should be noted as a sad day in your lifetime, as football has lost, possibly, one of the best that could have played it. Because of Brand's announcement, Stone; a 5 foot-10 225-pound 17-year old phenom for the East High Angels, will likely conclude his short-lived career, jump-started by NBC. Could it have been the pressure going to his head? Or is this truly a misunderstanding? It appears we will never know, as all doors for Stone have been slammed all at once by the likes of the NCAA and NBC. Be known that football has lost one of its greats.

Blog Update #11
November 20, 2007
Isaiah Stone
Yeah, yeah, I know I didn't update you guys last week, but I figured the news programs would have done that for you already. Mark told me he gave you guys the update last week, so I'm definitely not going into those details... not ever again. Sorry if I'm not in the greatest mood, but I think the fact that my life is over, should be a decent excuse. Well, you heard the news, no college football, no friends, no nothing. If you really want an in-depth look, then keep reading, but if you want the basic summary, just know that life SUCKS right now.
Alright, that TC guy, what the hell is with that? He emails me, giving me awesome help, and I'm told everything will be covered up, and the media won't know about it, so I went about it as if this were true. Then I find out his little ‘associates’ have less balls than 5-year old girl scouts, when I pick up the paper the next morning and find out that the word got out. That got me thinking if this guy really is what he claims to be. The email had me thinking; damn, “TC” - a big business guy with bodyguards everywhere, and probably has insiders everywhere. Now I'm thinking he's some kid wannabe who somehow got my email address.
Court actually went surprisingly well. A couple of the guys in my cell recognized me from the guards' television set. Guess everyone in Denver tunes into NBC-HS on Fridays. Anyways, they were all really nice to me, and gave me some advice in court. "Just make sure you say you didn't do it". But I didn't do it. I shouldn't have anything to hide. I did nothing wrong. I protected my buddy, protected my father's grave, and end up behind bars for something I didn't even do. If there is a god, what was he smoking that night? 'There's always a reason for everything'. What reason could there possibly be for that!??? Anyways, it went pretty well up until my bail hearing.
At the bail hearing, the DA was such a bitch. She tried to stir the story so I looked like a dopey, drunk, 17-year old punk. I kept trying to defend myself, but for some reason my lawyer told me to shut up, and I wasn't helping my case. Me defending myself with truths isn't allowed, but her attack me like that with lies is? Some justice system! Anyways, when Freddy went up to defend me, the DA and court audience were in "aww". I didn't understand a single word, but by the end, I could tell he had pretty much just said "There's no possible way he should be in custody… at all!". After I got the bail and signed the recognizance, I was so happy. All that weight, and all that stress was lifted off my shoulders.
When I got out, I went to Mark and told him the little fib TC had told me to tell him, about 'me and Jessica'. Then at school the next day, I tell everyone how I stayed over at Mark's. It worked perfectly, and everyone was giving me high fives and pats on the back and everything. They were so glad to see me have defended myself that night; I hadn't really gone wild like that my whole life. Granted, I didn't feel that great about myself afterwards, no one else cared. We already had 5 wins in an 11-game season, and only needed one more to get into the playoffs, so who cares we didn’t get it that night? The next morning, when I woke up and felt something wasn't quite right. I had just covered up everything, and I was going to be alright. So why was my sixth 'spidy' sense going off? When I picked up the paper, my heart stopped. My life was about to change.
I tried to explain to Mark what happened, but he wouldn't buy it. My best friend, hell, he's been like my brother my entire life, and he didn't believe me. He asked me why I wouldn't have just told him the truth on Sunday. I just thought, "Man, fuck you TC" at that point. I thought everything would’ve worked out, but it turns out it was opposite day in my life. Everyone at school; the team, the cast, even Jessica, wouldn’t speak to me. We were actually 'officially' going out that night, and when she found out the news, she dumped me before I had the chance. The one girl I thought I could really connect to, shot me down like a bad dog in a redneck town. No offense to anyone from Arkansas… but it doesn't look like I even have the option to go there now anyways, so what the hell.
Nothing's going right, right now. All my ex-friends hate me, all my ex-teammates won't even look at me, and my teachers are 'accidentally misplacing' all my work; the same teachers that were giving me extensions because I was the school's star. Well, all the perks I had before, have turned into the many reasons I don't feel like getting up in the morning. I mean look at me. No college will take me, scholarship or no scholarship. My teachers are going to purposely fail me. I'll have no friends, or girlfriend, the rest of my life. And my best friend, my brother for God’s sakes, won't talk to me anymore. Yesterday I was on my balcony, on the 11th floor of the apartment, and I just wanted to jump. What more was there to live for? What else could there possibly be out there for me? My mind, my tears, and clearly the world wanted me to jump. But my heart told me no, and I went back into my room and just worked out some more; if I can't play football with teammates anymore, nothings gonna stop me from doing what I love in life. If worst comes to worst I'll go to Canada. And I’ll need to beef up my muscles so I have enough lb’s on my to handle the cold over there.
Anyways, not that it matters anymore; I think our football program is history. Mark's gonna be out for the next 5 weeks, I'm done for my career, and Chris isn't anything special enough to lift our team. I really started to notice how much he fed on us, because without Mark and me, he's nothing. Our team lost 44-0 against some crappy D2 team I've never even heard of. Just goes to show what we were to this team, and what East High was without us. That puts us (man why do I keep saying "us")... that puts them at 5-2 now. In our… their division, 6 wins gets you in. At this rate, it'll take a miracle for that to happen. At least Mark is 'possible' for week 11, so he might make it out and be the difference-maker.
Oh, and I sent a letter out to TC. Was pretty angry, and politically incorrect, but what do I care anymore? Anyways, just basically was telling him I don't need his damn help, and I don't need his 'associates' to be making my life any worse than it already is. He's what got me into this mess in the first place, and he's sure as hell not dragging me out of it. From now on, I'm living my life as Isaiah; I'm going to be doing things by myself. That means when I go to my prelim (preliminary trial) on December 8th, I don't need his damn lawyers. I can live my life by myself, and since no one else in the world feels like helping me, fuck 'em. This is my life, and this is how I'll live it. Me; Isaiah Stone.
I’m pretty pissed off if you can't tell. Got a lot on my mind. Have a huge bio assignment due tomorrow that my teacher will 'lose' anyways and give me a 0, but I might as well do it. Also need to find a way to thank that Calvin Thomas dude. He pretty much publicly apologized to me two weeks ago on his radio show, and I was never really ready to thank him for it. I know TP didn't quite take the high road after my attempt of an apology, so I figure I'll make up for the mistakes in my life, and start with him. I guess if there were a God out there, he'd want me to start with this. Anyways guys, wish me luck; not on the field... not anymore, but on campus. It's much more of a battlefield in the halls than it is on the gridiron. Trust me, you'd wish you were actually in hell with the way my life is now. Anyways, we'll see how it goes...

Hey, thanks man. Really, you don't know how much it means right now. With all my friends, family, even the guys I thought were my bros not talking to me, it truly means a lot.
And hey, we've all said some stupid things in our lifetime, especially me. I don't know, I just kind of lost control that one night on ESPN-U. All my emotions caught up with me and just outblasted all at once. But I think the worst thing is, I didn't care. At the time I was so full of myself, I thought I could go around talking like that. Looking back now, and seeing how good I had it, I definitely would have acted different. But man, I guess those are the mistakes you have to learn from.
Speaking of mistakes, I've wound up in about the equivalent of hell. My best friend won't talk to me, my girlfriend dumped me, and I might not even pass High School if my teachers keep 'losing' my reports. Seriously, I think God has turned on me. Although I do thank you for genuinely trying to help me out; you're the first. I mean, maybe this is God’s plan. Maybe I have to become a better person before I become a better player. But still, how can I become a better player if I'm never allowed to play again? Sure you think the NCAA will go easy and lay off. Hell, they may, but right now, that Myles Brand bigshot is looking as cocky as all get out, and I don't think he'll have the ego to change his mind with all the press he’s been getting lately.
Man, I haven't told anyone about this, but since you’re more than 1000 miles away, I guess it can't do any harm. This guy messaged me while I was in jail, said his same was TC. He gave me all this advice, and told me to make up these stories that would cover up my story. He then promised he'd keep everything on the D-L. Then I find out he lied to me, and the cover-up stories I was told to tell did nothing but hurt me. Hell, they may have lost me the best friend I've ever had. You tell me not to lose faith in God, but I think I may have just lost mine. As much as I've always been the star, my buddy, Mark, has always been my idol; the one I’ve always looked up to. How calm he always is, how cool he can be about everything. Hell, every time I try to stand out, or try to be cool in public, it's because I want to impress him. And now that he's gone in my life, I just feel empty.
I've contemplated suicide over the past couple days, but after reading your email yesterday, it got me thinking that there may be more to life. I mean, I think I’ve just hit rock bottom. So I guess there's no way to go but up. After hearing about you're pretty positive attitude after the loss of your senior season, I think I'll cheer up a little about that of mine. I figure if I work my ass off for the next couple weeks, God may take notice, and I may even get acquitted at Prelim. Although that would be a dream scenario, there's only one way I can achieve it, and that's by work. You really inspired me to do this, and I’ve really committed to doing it. Everything I do in my life will be better than it has before. If the only way to get out of this hell-hole is to be an Angel, then I'm gonna spread my wings and soar above all this.
And since you gave me a nice little read about your team, here's mine. Well, everything looked good. We were 5-0, looking for a historic 11-0 season headlined by some crazy last-minute NBC victories. Then, it all changed when Mullen bought the game from the refs, got me kicked out of the game and (with the aftermath) essentially High School too. We lost our last game too, to put us at 5-2, and it's not looking too good tomorrow. We're facing the #3 team in the state, and with the lack of me and my ex-bro, Mark, our team will probably perform as badly as they did last week. We're gonna end up losing out at this point, and going 5-6. In our 11-game season, you need 6 W's, and our 5 won't cut it. Essentially, we're done at this point. However, I'm still looking forward to coming out to the games and cheering my team on, but I just don’t think we have it in us.
And man, I really have to stop saying "my team", "our team", "us". Well, the team I'm no longer a part of isn't looking to good, and it's pretty much thanks to me. But hey, I can handle it. If they want to blame me for their losses I'm not in the roster for, then so be it. If they can put 2 and 2 together, they'll figure out that the real problem is their lack of talent, and their dependence on me. But hey, don’t expect those idiots to. I was really the only smart one on the team. Despite my sinking average now, thanks to my biased teachers, I've always been one of the smarter dudes. Hell, if it weren't for this whole damn incident, I probably could have got an academic scholarship. But hey, maybe some things aren't meant to be...
Like you said, I can't lose my faith in God. He did this for a reason, and I'm starting to see how it’s changed me. I'm much more dedicated to what I do, I've become a more passionate person, and I'm realizing things can't be taken for granted. Football or no football, I can see how much of a better person I've become, and if that's all I can get out of it, I'll take it.
Man, you've really helped me see the other side of this. I don't know how much to thank you. You're the only person left in my life who believes in me now, and I just can't thank you enough. You've probably just saved my life, and for that, I owe you mine. Thanks man, and know you're biggest fan is here; in Denver, Colorado.

Subject: Dear Isaiah...
Ummm... I don't really know what to say, man. My name's Calvin Thomas and I'm 5'11 and I play quarterback for a 3A team in Miami, Florida named East Miami Polytechnic High School. I check your blog regularly and my heart goes out to you and your family. I'm sincerely sorry that the NBC-HS is treating you like this, as well as your friends.
If you've ever checked by my own blog, you know that I've called-out you and TP, and I'd like to apologize for that. I just don't like that you guys have been arguing via commercials and whatnot on NBC and ESPN. Anyway, I just want to reiterate that I'm apologizing for that and I'm sorry about your plight at your school.
Also, assuming you follow my blog, you may have noticed that I mentioned that NBC-HS came to talk to our coach about putting us on TV. When he heard about what happened to you and [i]your school, he told our school's sports committee not to sign any contract with NBC. I think they're going to cancel NBC-HS altogether. The only good thing about that is that I'll get to watch Friday Night Lights more often. :D
Sorry if you find that insensitive, but I'm just trying to break the ice. Ummm... I was hoping my school would make the 3A championship and I'd be able to send you and your family plane tickets and game tickets. Coach had checked-off on it, but I'm no longer sure we're going to make the championship. I'm not trying to be boastful, but I think we've both got that kind of impact on our teams. Y'know, they just can't succeed without us.
I'm hoping my friend DeJuan Staples will be able to play quarteback effectively, and take our school somewhere. I don't even know if I'm going to any of the games, though. It's not like coach can punish me. He coaches our track team, too, but I'm not going-out for that this year. I'm gonna spend my offseason talking to recruiters and see if I can get a scholarship to a big school. Right now, though, I'm really looking at UCF.
Anyway, I don't want you to focus too much on NCAA football, but I think the committee will let up. I'm 100% sure you'll be playing for somebody next year. I mean, come on, to not let you play would just be hating. It has nothing to do with you getting in that fight. I'm telling you, they juts don't like black quarterbacks. Not to sound too serious, but it's a conspiracy, if only a mild one.
So, um, again, sorry about what's going on in your life, but I'm sure things will turn around. And don't lose yoru faith in God. Please, please don't. I know a lot of things feel like there's no reason for them, but we can't always know his plans. Ttyl.
Yours truly,
Calvin Thomas

Hey TP, if you don't already know who this is, it's Isaiah Stone. Before you stop reading, just listen for a second. I'm here to sincerely apologize for everything that's happened, and if you're ready to forgive me, I have a small favor to ask.
First and foremost, I just wanted you to know how sorry I was. I never wanted our little rivalry to get out of hand. Hell, I think most of it was just jealousy. That night I was being interviewed... I just don't know what came over me. All my emotions from school, friends, girls... it just all caught up with me at once, and it just so happened I took it out on you. Looking back now, I can see how wrong I was. You didn't deserve that. Hell, you'd done nothing to really deserve that attitude from anyone. You just work your ass off in football and basketball, and get that attitude from me; a random quarterback from Denver no one really cared about at that point. I'd be pissed to. So really, just know how sorry I am that this even started.
The events that followed that made it really hard for me to patch things up. The retaliation by you (which I can understand) on NBC, getting the whole country pumped up about our rivalry... well, I guess it made things that much harder to apologize. I'll admit, at the time, I was cocky. I was so full of myself that I didn't care who got hurt in the process. Now that I've pretty much dropped to rock bottom, I can see everything I had. The thing that pisses me off the most is what I did with it. I could have been more modest, I could have been more of a gentleman. Instead I became that cocky, cliché superstar quarterback, and look where it got me now.
So basically, I wanted you to know I've been wanting to apologize to you for a while, it's just I hadn't really noticed how wrong I was until now; when I can see everything I could have had. I'm sincerely sorry, and if you think I have anything personal towards, please know I don't. I'm sure you're a great guy, and you'll do great things with your life. Whereas me... I was an absolute dick, and now I won't be able to accomplish even half of what you're set to do. I wish you the best of luck with your likely success in the NCAA and NFL.
That sort of leads me to my next point. If you've ever read my blog, you might be able to see the kind of guy I was behind the cameras, and behind the Friday-night lights. I'm a calm, pretty low-key guy, and I've always followed the law. Listen, I was set up by those guys at Mullen; they knocked me out, put me in that car, and called the cops themselves. I don't expect you to believe me, hell, no one else will, but what I do want from you is your help. You know more than anyone that healthy competition in sports only makes players better. And with me, and maybe even that Calvin Thomas kid, not playing next year, what competition will you have? The bar will be set substantially low with your lack of competition, and it will be much harder to improve as a player. If you're able to help out me and CT a little, it could really help your improvement over the years as a player.
If you are willing to do this, then here are some details. This Friday, in Eastern Miami, Calvin Thomas' high school football team will be playing in their final home game. With the playoff implications on the match, NBC-HS will be picking up the game. At halftime, they wanted to do something special, as a good ending off point in their final home game. NBC-HS thought it would be great if they had Calvin Thomas, Isaiah Stone, and Terrelle Pryor all in the same booth for a halftime interview. Wouldn't that be awesome? CT and I have already talked about it, and we figured there wouldn't be much point if you didn't come. We figured maybe on the air you could vouch for us; tell NBC-HS what a great quarterback CT will be, despite the injury. And who knows, maybe even publicly ask Brand and the NCAA to back off a bit on my banishment? It's just in the works right now, and if you're into it, get me back immediately. You, Calvin and I can talk more about what we want to happen. This could be great for the three of us!
Heres to wishing we truly are ready to patch things up between us. I think we could do a lot better for each other as friends than as enemies. =)
Sincerely,
Isaiah ~

But we'll see. If I'm love doing this to death, I'll consider bringing him into Madden 09... I just hate the game that much, lol

Bro, you've gotta be kidding me. When you started this message I thought you were going to take things a little seriously. But man, that email may have been the stupidest thing I've ever read in my life! Seriousness! I'ma just break your whole message down so you can see how stupid you sound.
"Hey TP, if you don't already know who this is, it's Isaiah Stone. Before you stop reading, just listen for a second. I'm here to sincerely apologize for everything that's happened, and if you're ready to forgive me, I have a small favor to ask."
Wow really? Thanks so much, there's no way I'd have been able to figure out who was writing the message. Oh wait, that's right... your name's attached to the fuckin email! Genius!
"First and foremost, I just wanted you to know how sorry I was. I never wanted our little rivalry to get out of hand. Hell, I think most of it was just jealousy. That night I was being interviewed... I just don't know what came over me. All my emotions from school, friends, girls... it just all caught up with me at once, and it just so happened I took it out on you. Man, don't be a pussy. You started this shit on national TV, don't try to tell me oooh, I didn't want it to get out of hand. I'm not stupid, and I know what this is. You want me to read this and think awww, how sweet. Maybe that's how you softies in the Rockies act, but we're not like that in Tri-State, alright? And by the way, my girl tells me her emotions go out of control when she's on her period too! So I guess I can relate to you... in a way.
"The events that followed that made it really hard for me to patch things up. The retaliation by you (which I can understand) on NBC, getting the whole country pumped up about our rivalry... well, I guess it made things that much harder to apologize. Yeah, that was pretty hilarious when I ripped your ass on NBC. Thanks for the compliment!
"So basically, I wanted you to know I've been wanting to apologize to you for a while, it's just I hadn't really noticed how wrong I was until now; when I can see everything I could have had. I'm sincerely sorry, and if you think I have anything personal towards, please know I don't. I'm sure you're a great guy, and you'll do great things with your life. Whereas me... I was an absolute dick, and now I won't be able to accomplish even half of what you're set to do. I wish you the best of luck with your likely success in the NCAA and NFL."
LIKELY success? Oh so that's how you see it! Man, you're such a dick!
"That sort of leads me to my next point. If you've ever read my blog, you might be able to see the kind of guy I was behind the cameras, and behind the Friday-night lights. Yeah, and OJ is innocent. Man, I'm not gonna help a crook like you. I don't need a mediocre QB from the Rockies to compete with. I'm far and beyond anything the NFL has right now! So do you really think I'm worried about some High School punk who thinks he's half as good as me?
"If you are willing to do this, then here are some details. This Friday, in Eastern Miami, Calvin Thomas' high school football team will be playing in their final home game. Oh of course Isaiah, I'll publicly beg the NCAA using my superior status to help out a prison-bound, mediocre high school ex-Quarterback.........NOT!
"Here’s to wishing we truly are ready to patch things up between us. I think we could do a lot better for each other as friends than as enemies. =)"
And here’s to me wishing you wouldn't be so gay
Alright, so I'll just summarize it: You use too many words to basically say you’re stuck. I get it, and I have one thing to say. It's on you! You got yourself into that trouble, you started the shit between us, you're the one who's been bitching about me for months, you're the one who got into big trouble, and now YOU'RE the one asking for some help???
I don't accept your lame-ass apology, and I'm nowhere near thinking of helping you. I don't need a free trip to Florida, hell, I'll be playing in the National Championship next year anyways! Don't be so soft and try to give me reasons as to why I should jeopardize my future because you fucked yours up.
You're an idiot, and in my books, you always will be!
P.S. I'm sending my mockery of your cheesiness to everyone on my contact lists, so enjoy everyone laughing at how desperately gay you are when you need something!
:hahaha: Laughing At You From Afar,

btw, if you get the chance, check it out on VSN! (link via my sig) The community is a lot larger, and I like the forums there a lot better (the overall look of PP now pisses me off)
Sorry for the long inactivity (if you remember me from other things), but now I'm back! :)
