Before I post anything, I would just like to say that this is my first ever franchise, so I am looking for some constructive criticism to help me as I continue this franchise and make more franchises.

Chris Cotter: Hello everybody, and welcome to Daily News Live. Today will be a little different because we have no live guests and we will take you guys out to a Roger Goodell press conference. He has some very big news involving one of the New York teams so we will take you there now.
http://www.stampedeblue.com/images/admin/Roger_Goodell.jpg
Roger Goodell: Good afternoon everybody and thanks for coming. As you may already know, this involves one of the New York City football franchises. That franchise is the Jets, and they will be moving. I feel that even though New York is the biggest city in the US and one of the biggest in the world, it is not necessary to have two teams in one city. New York is the only place that does this in the NFL, but they won’t be anymore. I have spoken with Jets owner Woody Johnson and he said that he will keep his front office, but wants to get rid of the players and coaches. He said that he would like to start anew. On a different note, without further ado, I, along with Woody Johnson here today am glad to reveal the new team name and logo of the franchise, the Newark Bulldogs. Their colors will be black and white, and a stadium is currently being built. As for the roster, they may sign free agents but they will also have something big. For the first time in NFL history, a team will hold open tryouts to fill up almost their entire roster. Dates and places will be revealed on the TV and radio and through the team website, where you can sign up. Thank you everyone and thanks for coming, no questions please.
Chris Cotter: There you have it; the Jets moved to Newark and are now the Bulldogs. We have Joe Benigno here, like always, and he will give his opinion on the move as well as retired quarterback Brett Favre via satellite.
http://web.sny.tv/images/news/benigno_90_032408.jpg
Joe Benigno: Well, I think Goodell’s head is full of crap. Who cares if there are two teams in New York, because that is what makes it more exciting. Everybody likes a little competitiveness between two teams in the same place. The colors and team name are not the best, but aren’t that bad. I also think that this open tryout thing is just plain stupid. Nobody out there has the skills to compete with the NFL superstars. What do you think Brett?
http://cache.deadspin.com/assets/images/deadspin/2008/07/favre_01.jpg
Brett Favre: I have to agree with you about the moving. There is no good reason for moving a team out of the spotlight. There was no conflict between the Jets and Giants, so why move one of them? I don’t care about the name and colors so I will skip to the tryouts. Obviously, it isn’t the smartest idea. There are some high school stars that didn’t get to play in college so they might do ok. They should also get some free agent veterans out there that can help lead the team.
Joe Benigno: So we agree on the moving business but I still am not convinced about the high school stars. If they didn’t play in college, then why would they be ready to play in the NFL? They have been off the field for four years and they probably have jobs. Why would they leave their jobs to go to an unsuccessful team?
Brett Favre: These players have all of training camp to get ready, and if they work hard, they can be ready. Although, I agree that it will be tough for this team to be successful in the near future and maybe a long time to come.
Chris Cotter: Well that wraps it up for today’s show. Thanks Brett (Favre: You’re welcome) and this is Chris Cotter along with Joe Benigno, and we’ll see you next time on Daily News Live.

Chris Cotter: Welcome to the newest edition of Daily News Live. Just recently the Jets moved to Newark and will be the Bulldogs. They now need a coach as the team, including the coaching staff, was let go. Today, this coach was announced, and as always, we have Joe Benigno to talk about it with our guests.
http://web.sny.tv/images/news/benigno_90_032408.jpg
Joe Benigno: Well, unfortunately, I can’t say much because I don’t know much about this coach. However, I can tell you who it is, and his name is Frank Doss. Luckily, we have a guest by the name of Woody Johnson, who can tell us about him. Here he is, the owner of the Bulldogs, Mr. Woody Johnson. Welcome Woody.
http://www.nypost.com/seven/04062007/photos/pg6e.jpg
Woody Johnson: Thanks for having me.
Chris Cotter: Well, who is this guy? Nobody has ever heard of him.
Woody Johnson: He was a head coach in several Division III schools at the college level as well as coaching at the high school level. He won three conference championships and a national title there with 3 different schools. He knows a lot about the game and has nine years of coaching experience under his belt.
Joe Benigno: So he knows what he is doing then? (Johnson: Yes.) Well what about the rest of the coaching staff? Are they good?
Woody Johnson: I let Frank choose his staff. He chose some people who worked under him during his years and a few who he faced off against. Paul Freeman is the offensive coordinator, Tommy Harris is the defensive coordinator, and Alex Frank is the special teams coach. The trainer is Joe Young. They are all respected in the Division III community and they have some good knowledge of the game as well.
Chris Cotter: I have some questions; what kind of offense and defense will Doss run?
Woody Johnson: Doss is a pass first type of guy, so we will look to have a strong passing game. On defense he runs a 3-4 so more people can help in the secondary.
Chris Cotter: Well, thanks for stopping by Woody (Johnson: No, thank you). Now we have about 10 minutes for Joe to talk about this. Sorry that we couldn’t find guests, but this was on very short notice.
Joe Benigno: I’m always happy to talk, Chris. Well, Woody sure made him seem great. His stats do sound impressive, but it is Division III. Maybe he can’t get it done in the pros. Then again, if you know how to play the game then it shouldn’t matter what level you are on.
Chris Cotter: But he probably won’t have the cream of the crop to work with here.
Joe Benigno: That may be true. It will be interesting to see where this will go. I predict that he will do fine at his position, but he might look bad due to the players.
Chris Cotter: I don’t know but we’ll just have to wait and see. This is Chris Cotter and Joe Benigno, and we’ll see you next time on Daily News Live.

Matt Yallof: Hello, folks, and welcome to Geico SportsNite presented by Geico, "So Easy, A Caveman Can Do It". Just earlier today, Bulldogs owner Woody Johnson held a press conference where he revealed the team info for the new Newark Franchise.
First, he revealed the logo, a simple, white Bulldog, with a black outline.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0721.jpg
Next, he showed the home and away jerseys. The home, having a white helmet, black jersey, and white pants, and the away jersey, having a white helmet, white jersey, and black pants. The team does not have designated alternates yet.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0725.jpghttp://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0728.jpg
Last, was the stadium, The Dawg Pound. It will seat around 75,000 people. It will be easily recognized by the partial roof on top of the stadium.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0724.jpghttp://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0722-1.jpg
The coaches were also in attendance, and Frank Doss gave a short speech.
Head Coach: Frank Doss- "This will be a decent year for us. I believe that we won't be as bad as expansion teams usually are. However, this probably will be an experiment year, as we look to see what talent we have and what kind of plays we should run."
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0731.jpg
Offensive Coordinator: Paul Freeman
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0732.jpg
Defensive Coordinator: Tommy Harris
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0733.jpg
Special Teams Coordinator: Joe Young
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0734.jpg
As you know, the team will be holding open tryouts to fill their roster over the next month. Now, we go from the gridiron to the hardwood to see the playoff races...

damn, i didn't realize that the pics were so big, i will edit that later.
anyway, when i say tryouts, it really means that i took the players from the game that they give you when you create a team (i choose an air it out team becuase i like to pass more) my coaches are made up, doss is the coach in the franchise mode and the others are random names
EDIT: I made the pics smaller, now.

http://web.sny.tv/images/announcers/mug_custer_brian.jpg
Brian Custer: Hello folks, and welcome to our first edition of Bulldogs Nation, formerly known as Jets Nation. I’m Brian Custer, and I am still with former Jets players, quarterback Ray Lucas, and linebacker Greg Buttle as well as NFL insider Adam Schein. As you know, the Bulldogs are having open tryouts for four weeks for people to join their team. We’ve gotten through weeks one and two, and our analysts here, were at the tryouts. They will talk about one person that they thought was good. We’ll start with Ray Lucas.
http://web.sny.tv/images/news/lucas_95_061108.jpg
Ray Lucas: Well I saw a great quarterback by the name of Jerome Tucker. This guy is a beast, at 6 foot 7 and 243 pounds. This guy throws as far as anyone and is also pretty accurate. He has a great pocket presence; he knows when to get rid of the ball. He also knows where the throws should go every time, he rarely makes mistakes. He should be a good quarterback.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0736.jpg
Brian Custer: Thanks Ray. Now we have another week 1 standout from Greg Buttle.
http://web.sny.tv/images/news/buttle_95_061108.jpg
Greg Buttle: I saw someone who makes Jerome’s job easier, a tight end by the name of Kyle Watson. He is 250 pounds of hard working talent. Like most tight ends, he is not fast or agile, but he can catch very well. He also can block well too; he can keep the quarterback and running back protected. Not to mention, he will be good when the quarterback is in trouble because he can just dump it off to Watson.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0739.jpg
Brian Custer: Thanks Greg, now you go Adam.
http://web.sny.tv/images/mug_schein_adam.jpg
Adam Schein: I also saw someone who makes the quarterback’s job easier, a right guard. His name is David Smith. He his humongous at 6 foot 7 and 310 pounds and is very strong; he can knock down just about anyone. He is a decent run blocker but is an excellent pass blocker. This is a guy who may be overlooked, but still contributes to the team.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0740.jpg
Brian Custer: Thank you Adam, and thank you guys for watching. Stay tuned next week as these three give you some more standouts in the tryouts.

http://web.sny.tv/images/announcers/mug_custer_brian.jpg
Brian Custer: Hello again, and welcome to Bulldogs Nation. Today we have weeks three and four coverage of the tryouts with Ray Lucas, Greg Buttle, and Adam Schein as they each give another standout player. This time we’ll start with Greg.
http://web.sny.tv/images/news/buttle_95_061108.jpg
Greg Buttle: I found someone bigger than David Smith, I found Tyrell Long, who is 6 foot 7 and 324 pounds. Like Smith, he is very strong and very good at pass blocking, but he is more balanced when it comes to run and pass blocking.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0741.jpg
Brian Custer: You seem to have a knack for finding humongous players. Ray, did you find another big guy?
http://web.sny.tv/images/news/lucas_95_061108.jpg
Ray Lucas: As a matter of fact, I have. His name is Sylvester Suggs and he is 6 foot 6 and 311 pounds. He is not as strong as the others but is a better overall pass blocker. He is not that good at run blocks but he should get the job done.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0742.jpg
Brian Custer: Did you find another big man Adam?
http://web.sny.tv/images/mug_schein_adam.jpg
Adam Schein: Actually, I found a small wide receiver by the name of Lester Largent. He is only 6 feet and 192 pounds, but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in playing ability. He has great speed and agility, so he can outrun some corners. He is also great at catching and jumping, making him a good guy to throw to in tough situations. He has the ability to be the number one wide out on the team.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0743.jpg
Brian Custer: This is it for the tryouts- weeks 3 and 4 edition of Bulldogs nation. This is Brian Custer along with Ray Lucas, Greg Buttle, and Adam Schein, and we’ll see you next time.

the league is not all created players, my team is the only created team in the league, so every other team has their regular players.
I guess the shamrock might be good for the logo, (your talking in game, right?). There isn't really a better choice-they don't give a whole lot of logo choices in 09 next-gen compared to older games on current gen systems, where they had everything

Preseason Week 1
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/jbrown2.jpg
James Brown: Welcome to the first NFL Today of the new season. It is the first week of the preseason and the Newark Bulldogs will take on the Cleveland Browns at Cleveland Browns Stadium. It is only the preseason, so each of you guys, Bill Cowher, Shannon Sharpe, and Dan Marino, just give a few thoughts on the game. Bill, you can start.
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/sports/talent/cowher_bio.jpg
Bill Cowher: Since Newark is a completely new team with completely new players, I don't know anything about them. If the Bulldogs lose, it will show that they are not a good team, because the Browns are usually towards the bottom of the league.
James Brown: That is a good point, Bill; Shannon, you're next.
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/sports/talent/sharpe_bio.jpg
Shannon Sharpe: To agree with you Bill, this game should be very interesting. It will prove what this new team is all about. The entire preseason should show how good they really are.
James Brown: Dan.
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/dmarino.jpg
Dan Marino: I was going to give some key matchups, but I have decided to contradict what you guys said. It is only the preseason, so do you guys really think that Cleveland is trying? They don't want to get anyone injured, they just want to get their players into shape. The Bulldogs will be trying, becuase their team has to learn to play together. It is not a test of how good Newark is.
James Brown: Thank you for your opinions, guys. Now we take you to Phil Simms and Greg Gumbel who are at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland for the Bulldogs and the Browns in the first week of the preseason.

Preseason Week 1 Post-Game
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/jbrown2.jpg
James Brown: Welcome back to the studio with the conclusion of Bulldogs at Browns. The final score is 24-7 in favor of the Bulldogs. We now take you to the highlight reel.
After forcing the Browns to punt on their first possesion, Jerome Tucker hooked up with DeShaun Griffin for 47 yards on the third play from scrimmage, giving Newark good field position. They later scored on a 3 yard pass from Tucker to the FB Mathews.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0747.jpg
After another Cleveland punt, Tucker and the Bulldogs drove downfield again, ending in an 8 yard touchdown run by Bo Thomas. However, on the next possesion by Cleveland, they marched downfield for a touchdown of their own, a 7 yard Kellen Winslow TD catch, with almost a minute to go in the first half.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0748.jpg
As Newark began to drive with under a minute, Tucker was picked off by Brandon McDonald, on an overthrow while trying to go deep. The Bulldogs defense did hold up though, forcing a punt with half a minute to go. On the first play of their next drive, Tucker hooked up with Griffin again, this time for a 61 yard TD pass to give Newark a 21-7 lead at the break.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0749.jpg
The third quarter was relatively quiet, execpt for Sean Gray missing a 47 yard FG. In the fourth quarter, Gray was able to redeem himself by hitting a 22 yard FG. On Cleveland's next possesion, Brady Quinn threw a pick to John Woolford, only for backup QB Stephen Griffith, to throw an interception to Leon Williams. However, Quinn got sacked a couple of times, and Newark was able to run out the clock on their way to a 24-7 win. Dan, your thoughts?
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0755.jpghttp://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0757.jpg
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0760.jpghttp://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0761.jpg
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/dmarino.jpg
Dan Marino: Well both starting QBs had great games, with Jerome Tucker going 15-19 for 215 YDS, 2 TDs, and only 1 INT. Derek Anderson was 13-17 for 131 YDS, and a TD. Two very outstanding days, so some good news there. The bad news?; the backup QBs. Stephen Griffith was 14-21 and 128 YDS, but no TDs, and a pick. Quinn was 11-17 for 102 YDS and also no TDs and an INT.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0751.jpghttp://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0750.jpg
James Brown: Alright Shannon, you can go, and then you Bill.
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/sports/talent/sharpe_bio.jpg
Shannon Sharpe: I'm going to talk about the runningbacks. All three RBs in this game had miserable days. Bo Thomas had 21 YDS on 9 ATT (2.3 AVG) despite a TD. Ethan Randle had 13 YDS on 6 ATT (2.1 AVG). And Jamal Lewis was held to 11 YDS on 8 ATT (an abysmal 1.3 AVG). Where were these guys today?
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0748.jpghttp://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0752.jpg
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/sports/talent/cowher_bio.jpg
Bill Cowher: Well instead of offense, I will talk about defense. Of course, the 3 INTs were good for both defenses, but Newark's defense dominated in the trenches. Brady Quinn was sacked 6 times today; 3 times by Bernie Irving, twice by Roman Orr, and once by Carlton Ball. If Cleveland wants to win games, they can't allow this to happen.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0762.jpg
James Brown: Well that's all the time we have. This is James Brown for Dan Marino, Bill Cowher, and Shannon Shapre, and we'll see you next time.

my honest thoughts
1. A layout I havnt seen b4 which is good and bad, you could go more in depth with the games instead of just the scoring plays
2. quality of pics does not bother me like some ppl, it looks fine.
3. LOVE how you put the stats up of the game but mabe just keep it in the same post
4. GREAT CBS comments its somewhat "your" thoughts of the game you just put it out there differently which was good =)
OVERALL: Good layout, just dont put the stats in another post keep it in the same so its less cramped and an easy read. Mabe go a little more in depth about the game. Like I said LOVE the CBS thing you got going keep doing it and it should be fine. post another preseason game so I can give more comments =) good job with this bloo just needs some small edits in my opinion

when i started this, i had TV presentation in mind, which is why all my posts are like a TV show. I am going to use an idea that Lonewolf will use in his Rocky Mountain High chise which is the presentation for each game will change with whichever station shows the game, i really liked that idea
i'll make my second preseason game come later this afternoon, so give me your thoughts when it is up :D

NFL Today-Preseason Week 2

James Brown: Welcome to the NFL today on CBS. This week is the second week of the preseason, and once we're done here, we will send you to Newark for the Redskins and the Bulldogs. But first, we have Bill Cowher, Dan Marino, and Shannon Sharpe, as they give their thoughts on today's game. Start us off Shannon.
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/sports/talent/sharpe_bio.jpg
Shannon Sharpe: Last week was a good win, but now they play a harder team. Assuming the Redskins will try for at least the first quarter, this will be a test for the Bulldogs; Can they stay close with a better team, or not? Obviously, Washington isn't the best, but they are pretty good.
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/dmarino.jpg
Dan Marino: Once again, I have a contradiction. It is the preseason, and like I said last time, how do you know the Redskins will try at all; they don't want anyone getting hurt, like Clinton Portis or Jason Campell. I think that Newark needs to kill the Redskins today because it would boost their confidence and help them play better as a team.
James Brown: Bill, any more comments?
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/sports/talent/cowher_bio.jpg
Bill Cowher: I can't stress enough the importance of defense. This defense really doesn't look good on paper, so they need the preseason to get better. Last week vs. the Browns, they did better than expected, and they need to keep applying pressure or they won't succeed.
James Brown: Thank you guys, and thank you viewers for watching. Now we have a commercial break, but when you return, you will get to see Redskins at Bulldogs, in the opening of The Dawg Pound. We'll see you again at halftime.

Preseason Week 2 Postgame
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/jbrown2.jpg
James Brown: Welcome to the CBS Postgame show after a very exciting game between the Washington Redskins and the Newark Bulldogs. Here are the highlights:
On the first drive of the game, the Redskins used a tough running game with Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts, along with Moss and Randle El in the passing game, to drive downfield. However, on a third down play inside the 10, Betts was stuffed for the second consecutive time going for the score, so Washington had to settle for a 21 yard field goal by Suisham.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0764.jpg
On Newark's first drive, they were quickly forced into a third down situation, but they came up big with Jerome Tucker finding Bo Thomas in the flats, and Thomas was able to move ahead for 20 yards. On another third down play, later in the drive, Tucker found Lester Largent across the middle for 17 yards, keeping the drive alive. There was another third down situation for Newark, this one inside the 10. Once again, Tucker converted, this time finding Kyle Watson in the endzone for the score.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0765.jpg
On Washington's next drive, they went 3 and out, with a couple of incompletions, and Newark got the ball back at the start of the second quarter. On another third down for Newark, Tucker was sacked for a 10 yard loss, the first time they didn't convert on third down all game. When the Redskins got the ball back, they didn't waste any time in trying to move downfield. Clinton Portis had a 31 yard run to start the drive, moving Washington inside Newark's 30 yard line. It was now that Newark's defense stepped up, holding Portis to a two yard rush, and then sacking Campbell, forcing a third down, where, despite a 10 yard completion to Santana Moss, Washington was still short, meaning they would have to settle for a 43 yard field goal by Suisham.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0768.jpg
On yet another third down for Newark, on their next drive, they converted, with Jerome Tucker hooking up with DeShaun Griffin downfield for a 47 yard gain, putting Newark on Washington's 5. On the very next play, Tucker found his FB Chris Mathews for 6 points.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0769.jpg
The Redskins got the ball back with under 2 minutes to go in the half, but they quickly drove downfield with a flurry of passes to four different recievers, mainly Cooley and Randle El, and it was Randle El who caught the 7 yard touchdown pass. The Redskins went for two to tie it up, but failed with the bad timing between Campbell and Cooley. With half a minute to go, Newark got the ball back, but 3 straight incompletions while trying to go deep sent the game into halftime with Newark up 14-12.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0770.jpghttp://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0773.jpg
With the backups in, the game's pace became slower. Backup QBs Stephen Griffith and Todd Collins could not get the jobs done on each of their first drives. However, on Newark's second drive, Stephen Griffith came together enough on the drive (with a little help from a bad Washington punt) to get into field goal range where Sean Gray hit a 34 yard field goal.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0774.jpg
On Washington's next drive, Collins was doing better also, with 3 first down passes, putting Washington on Newark's 25 yard line. On the next play, Collins found his TE Thrash over the middle, and Thrash began to move upfield, only to be hit by the FS Clausen, and he lost the football to the CB Marquez Bonds.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0775.jpghttp://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0776.jpg
Griffith was looking good on the next drive, until he reached Washington territory, where a couple of straight incompletions forced Newark to punt. This is where Washington stepped up, with great passing by Collins getting complemented by Ladell Betts' running, they drove downfield. On a second down play from Newark's 20, Betts ran to the house, with some nice moves along the way, giving Washington the 18-17 lead. Once again, Washington went for two, but Betts was stuffed in the backfield, so the Redskins would have to hold on to a one point lead.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0777.jpghttp://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0778.jpg
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0780.jpg
When Newark got the ball back, they started to drive again, until a sack and 3 stright incompletions gave Washington the ball again. Newark's run defense came up big again, holding Betts to two rushes of two yards, and then sacking Collins, making the Redskins punt again with a minute to go. On the Bulldogs' next drive, on the first play, Griffith found Largent for 40 yards, putting them in Redskin territory. However, Washington wouldn't have to worry, because on the next play, the LB Wilson intercepted the ball, and Washington ran out the clock.
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/bulldogs%20season%201/IMG_0781.jpg
We have the experts here giving their opinions of the game. We'll start with Bill Cowher.
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/sports/talent/cowher_bio.jpg
Bill Cowher: Despite the Bulldogs' defense getting run over at times, they did still have a pretty good day. They were blitzing and pressuring the QB a lot, which is key for a defense that lacks a lot of talent. They were also hitting those WRs hard. All those big hits will get any WR scared to catch the ball sometimes, making things better for your team. This showed with the fumble that Clausen forced, they have to keep doing this.
James Brown: Okay Shannon, then you Dan.
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/sports/talent/sharpe_bio.jpg
Shannon Sharpe: What defense were you watching Bill? They got run over today. Campbell and Collins had great days, without any interceptions, and Portis and Betts had good days as well, with Betts getting that TD and Portis averaging 8 YPC. This is not a defense that you can live with in the NFL.
http://images.sportsline.com/images/cbs/dmarino.jpg
Dan Marino: I will talk about the pass to run ratio for this team. Ethan Randle and Bo Thomas combined for 7 carries and 15 yards. I understand that their passing game in a lot better than their running game, but it was raining, and these guys still had the days that they had. To succeed in the NFL, even if your passing game is much better, your running game has to be a lot better than this.
James Brown: Thanks for your thoughts guys, and thanks you to those who are watching the NFL on CBS. We'll see you next week.

Chris Cotter: Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of Daily News Live, and as always, I have Joe Benigno alongside me. Right now, we are in betweent the NFL preseason and regular season. We will use this opportunity to have our guests, and Joe, talk about the preseason and the upcoming regular season. Today, we have two former Jets alongside us, former RB Curtis Martin, and WR Wayne Chrebet. Thanks for coming guys. (Martin and Chrebet: It's our pleasure.)
In the preseason, the Bulldogs went 2-2, with wins over Cleveland and Philadelphia, and losing to Washington and New York. What did you guys see during these games? We'll go in this order, Joe, Curtis, and Wayne.

Joe Benigno: As we all know by now, the Bulldogs' have one of the worst defenses in the leauge talent wise. They're down with Detroit and those other bottom feeders. But there may be good somewhere with this defense, but it is not coming from the players themselves, but instead, the coaches. Defensive coordinator Tommy Harris knows how to call plays. He is calling for lots of blitzing, both run and pass, to put pressure on their opponents. You need to do this because it can make the QB or RB more nervous and tense, making your job easier. Frank Doss sure knows how to call plays and pick a staff.

Curtis Martin: Having been a runningback, I will comment on the Bulldog's running game. Obviously, they don't run the ball very well, and it may hurt them. But don't blame this on the RB Bo Thomas. I've been watching Thomas, and he is a pretty decent back. He has good speed and is pretty elusive. His speed can be better, but it is good enough. I blame the poor running game on the blocking. Since Doss had a passing game in mind, he forgot about good run blocking. These guys are ok at it, but not good enough to help Thomas out. In the offseason, this team can do either two things; find a back who is so talented he doesn't need a good blocker, or find some guys who can run block. They need their running game to step up, or they won't go anywhere.

Wayne Chrebet: Since I was a WR, I will comment on the passing game. These guys are great, they look like they've been playing together for years. The timing between Jerome Tucker and his recievers has been excellent. The blocking has been great also. There are 3 main targets for Tucker to find, plus a possible fourth, so it will be hard to stop them. Lester Largent isn't the fastest guy, but he can make great catches, so he can rack up the receptions. DeShaun Griffin has a lot of speed, and is a downfield threat. The TE Kyle Wastson is a good target while moving across the field, plus he has decent speed. The fourth guy, WR Richard Atkinson, doesn't have any big talents, but if he is open, watch out. This should be a great year for this passing attack.

Season Preview
http://web.sny.tv/images/announcers/mug_cotter_chris.jpg
Chris Cotter: Welcome to Daily News Live. I'm here with Joe Benigno and former Jets Curtis Martin and Wayne Chrebet. Yesterday we reviewed the preseason and today we preview the regular season. First, you guys can give your Bulldogs predictions before the rest of the division.
http://web.sny.tv/images/news/benigno_90_032408.jpg
Joe Benigno: This team has some skill, but not enough. Even though they have a good passing game, both offensively and defensively, they don't really have a running game. You need a running offense and defense to succeed, and these guys don't have it. I do like their play calling, though. I say they go 7-9, maybe 8-8, and 9-7 is pushing it, but it is possible, but no playoffs.
http://images.usatoday.com/sports/football/_photos/2006-11-08-cmartin.jpg
Curtis Martin: I predict a pretty bad season for these guys. 4 or 5 wins, but no better than 6. No matter how good Jerome Tucker and his recievers are, you need to have a running game. If you don't, and you pass a lot, your oppenents will guard the pass all the time, forcing you to run. On the defensive side, these guys just don't have enough talent to be reliable to make a stop. This won't be a good season.

Wayne Chrebet: Actually, this can be a good season. Obviously, they are not winning the division over Brady and the unstoppable Pats. But they can get 9 or 10 wins and make a wild card spot. They have a pretty weak schedule, playing Oakland, San Francisco, and Seattle. They have enough ability to pull out 9-10 wins. It doesn't mean that they will, but it is possible.
Chris Cotter: Thanks for your predictions guys. We'll see you next time on Daily News Live.

Bulldogs Open Mic
Week 1 Pregame Press Conference With Frank Doss
http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo249/bloobloo13/IMG_0731.jpg
Frank Doss: Thank you all for coming, we can now start.
Reporter: First game as Head Coach of a team, do you feel nervous?
Doss: Of course I feel nervous, doesn't everyone on their first day on the job? Luckily, there isn't a whole lot of pressure on me to win, considering we are a completely new team. That does make me less nervous. Also, the fact that everyone on this team is just about as nervous as I am, makes it better.
Reporter: The Dolphins have rebuilt this year with the addition of Chad Pennington. They also have Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. How do you expect to stop this new offense?
Doss: We know that Chad doens't throw downfield a lot, which takes some pressure off of our corners. Our linebackers are probably the most talented part of our defense, so if they can stop Chad, we might do ok. Also, Ronnie and Ricky both have great speed, more than our defense, but if we can at least lay some hands on them, then other guys will come to help out. It will be tough to stop them, but we hope we can stop them from completely running us over.
Reporter: Coach, the Dolphins are not recognized for a great pass defense, but an average one. Are you going to exploit this?
Doss: Of course I will, after all, our team is built for the passing game. Besides, even if they shut down our top wide recievers, we still have our TE Watson, plus Atkinson, plus Bo Thomas in the flats. It will be tough to hold all of these guys.
Reporter: Your running game has been put down a lot since the preseason. Do you think you might improve on Sunday?
Doss: Well, we've been working with Bo and the blockers all week to improve this, and I think we got better, so we'll see. No more questions please.

Sorry guys, I hate to say it but...I am going to stop this franchise. I know I barely started, but I have my reasons. Like, this is so much more work than some other chises, with all the pics and stuff, plus I don't have a lot of time on my hands.
I do have some good news though: I will start a new franchise with a different format than this, which should be easier than what I am doing now, and hopefully less time consuming.
PS-If you really really want, I'll keep this going.
