Game will be played in snow most likely depending on how the clean up the field tomorrow and how much it continues to pour. I'm at the point now where I somewhat want the team to lose so we can snag someone like Crabtree or Oher, but the competitive side of me wants us to lay Favre the fuck out.

If the Jets win and the Pats lose, then my team gets a 2nd round pick because the Jets would get to the playoffs, instead of just a 3rd round pick.

If the Dolphins lose, we only get a 3rd round pick, but then "Favre fans" will have very little ammo considering the Jets complete collapse to mostly horrible teams in December headlined by Favre INTs.

Pennington wasn't the problem with the Jets, and Favre wasn't the solution. The problem was Mangini and the solution was to get a new coach.

I was always a big Pennington fan when he was a Jet. I hoped he would do well as a Dolphin as he's thrived. That's the only real jersey I ever bought, a Jet Pennington one lol. I hope they go all the way.

wrong. mangini isnt the problem, and the way favre's playing is the exact reason i was bitching when we got him. lol @ moz and bates for trying to convince me things would be alright when it was obvious that favre was gonna come back down to earth. 21/19 TD/INT ratio with tons of more bad decisions. i told everyone this offseason that the reason our record would be better was because of out other offseason pickups and i was most excited about dustin keller. the way he's been playing and just giving games away has been killing our defense.

mangini doesnt need to go, but i think that laverneus coles does. something about our offense needs to change because we dont have any home run threats besides our backup running back, which is a shame with how fast coles is. he's only averaging 11 ypc and something needs to be done. i dont think firing mangini's the answer but im almost sure that we'd have a better record had we kept pennington for the fact that he doesnt give the ball away like favre does. on top of the fact that we gave up a definite 3rd round and potential 2nd rounder to get him. he's thrown just 1 td to 6 int's in the last 3 games and has been just sorry. as much as we need knowshon moreno instead of thomas jones, we also need a qb of the future. 9-6 has never felt like such a disappointment, esp after a 4-12 season

lol in 8 games favre has threw more ints than tds. talk about impact. right now the phins are loving mr pennington...arguably in mvp canidate despite not putting up mvp like numbers.

That's what I was thinking. No point.

You can argue who had the better season, but to be arguing who is a better QB when one of those guys has only played 15 games is a little silly, in addition to the fact that they are very different types of QBs.

I'm speaking in terms of this season only. Chad is having as good a season, if not better than Aaron is. Obviously, his upside is much greater than Chad's, at this point. i expect him to have a very good career in GB.
