Alright sign up here if you want to be in a FF auction league. An auction league is the same as any other league except instead of a draft you have an auction. If you don't know the rules or strategies of the auction search google or visit sites like fanball.com or footballguys.com. The auction will be conducted via aim and I'll get an independent party to be the auctioneer. You will need AIM to be in the league. If you've never been an auction league I recommend you try it at least once; you might love it, you might hate it but hey at least you tried it and it was free for god sakes :laugh:

Once we get a core group of people we an decide when to have the auction. Any time is fine with me and we can even have a Mock Auction if you guys want so everyone gets a good idea first hand for how they work. But don't worry they aren't that complicated and are far more exciting. We'll just transfer the results of the auction to the standard yahoo/nfl/cbs/espn league and run it through that. I'll commish the league and am looking for 10 or 12 teams.

WHo do you guys think came out with the best squad? I would say mine of course because of the bias (3 of the top 7 players), but out of everyone else's I really liked Favre's. I'm usually never that agressive in draft auctions, but decided to change it up. Favre came out with the type of roster I like with a bunch of good players that could easily step it up (i.e. Jennings and Hackett).

It was a fun draft, hopefully everyone sticks through it and we can do another next year.

I like Terrorblaze and Favre's team the most, but they all seem pretty good. Manny would definatley be on my top list but Hester isn't worth a starting spot to me, even if their are points for kick/punt returns

Hey, not that it matters a whole lot but I disagree with locking players teams...We were the dedicated ones who stayed for the whole draft and filled our rosters, and now get punished somewhat and cant sign free agents until those teams are filled?? I understand not signing free agents that were drafted at the auction, but the other players that werent drafted should be open to everyone, not just to the teams that need to fill their teams......We were the ones who filled our rosters and used our money wisely, now the teams that need to fill their rosters get first stab at the best free agents?????? They should be treated just like us and have to fight for the free agents (That wasnt drafted). Like I said, they should have stayed for the whole draft. You are missing my point, I didnt say they were so valuable....Fair is fair as I explained earlier. For example during your LOCK period if I had LT, and he would have got injured for the whole season, and I wanted his backup (Turner) to replace him via waivers, I couldnt have because you gave first stab to the guys that didnt draft a whole team....This logic can be applied to all kinds of instances during your LOCK period.......It made no sense. PACKERS RULE!!!!

Dropped Favre and picked up Troy Williamson. Looks strange, even to me... but Tarvaris Jackson has made him his favorite target in camp and has thrown to him a ton in pre-season. Problem is he hasn't caught them, lol. Hoping maybe that could change as he is a freak physically and now has a starting position. Truely a potential pick who would be no problem to drop if it fails.

Picking up Wes Welker in week 1 saved my team, if I didn't have him, Shaun would officially be killing my team. Now I got Addai back, I think I can make a run. The Colts bye week killed me, I started Daunte Culpepper lol.

Favre and I are having a great matchup this week. It should be really close. He made a great move playing Anderson and got three TD's, while Peyton threw for two and 250+. Addai went for 3 TD's and 100+, and Parker went for a lot and a TD. Ward caught two TD's, and my Wayne went for 150+ and a TD. Welker has 60+ in the first half and is due for his weekly TD, and Housh caught one for Favre. I could lose it because of DeAngelo Williams and Desmond Clark, but it should be close.

BTW, I have Roethlisberger as my backup QB, and he is like the #5 QB in fantasy right now. If anyone needs QB help, send me an offer. I'd like to upgrade my RB's and a better backup TE.
