EA is only screwing themselves in the long run by not getting these games up to speed. Heck the PS3 version of Madden could have been at a 100FPS and it would still suck. Thank god my league went back to PS2

I disagree. You've been playing madden at 30fps since ps1 days. So it running at 30 on ps3 isn't a big deal. If you have both a 360 then you'll get it for 360. If you only have a ps3 then you get it for ps3. If you want to continue to play madden 06 then you buy it for the ps2 or xbox.
The only people this hurts is Sony, cuz it makes their system look bad. EA will still sell the same number of games.

I played the 360 version and it was just a faster crap of a game. EA is missing the boat if they think this arcade style of football is the best madden yet to date. If I was a graphics whore I would say it is the best madden ever but I am not. Gameplay should come 1st and it does not in their case. I have learned a valuable lesson when it comes to EA, do not but sucked in by all the pretty candy and take a step back and see if the gameplay to make the game fun is there. This game is a godsend for those that play in those arcade tournaments that EA puts on. Bottomline is EA is supposed to be the best of the best because of the resources and the reputation. They have failed the Madden gamers by making a product that does not reward people for their long standing loyalty to the EA brand. The joy has been taken from me for the release of Madden because I expected more from them and should know better by now that I will be disappointed.

Why dont you give some specifics as to why you think the gameplay sucks instead of rambling on like an idiot about nothing.

Ok so what I gathered from your last post was that you think the game is arcady and is just a faster piece of crap.
With such detailed criticism like that Tiburon won't have a problem fixing all of that for next year:rolleyes:

Im trying to understand why you want to talk bad about this game, but you are not giving me any real reasons. Juts looking for a little clarity.

Do you play sim style football? If you do then you realize that this is an arcade style game. Every player changes direction on a dime the issues with game balance with guys with high speed ratings. LB's coming up the middle on blitzes unstoppable. No Live opponent for those that play franchise online. Controls for defensive playmaker are not intuitive for the user. Should have used the PS2 version as a model for where they wanted to be at for next-gen. Online friends list non-existent. Multiple camera angles. The numerous fumbles and interceptions in the game. I won't get into the franchise mode stuff, many things can be fixed with the sim engine and realistic salary cap. If i think of anything else I will add it
