Feel free to make these 2008 Season letters, or just week 17 letters.

These are my end of the year open letters.

Dear Mike McCarthy,
I like you actually. Your playcalling doesn't always make a lot of sense but we've had an outstanding offense since you've got your system in place, and I know that's a lot due to you. I don't expect you to be fired at all, but I'd really hate it if you were. You've just got to do a better job getting our guys' pad level corrected. :haw:

Dear Aaron Rodgers,
You're pretty awesome duder, and you played the last 3 months of the year with a sprained shoulder that might need surgery. Avoid that sophomore slump please. We'll need you playing like you did this year again. You didn't always make the big plays when it counted, but you typically played very well for almost the entire game. Don't have enough good things to say about how you played, especially considering the outside circumstances surrounding you coming into the season.

Dear Packers defense and DC Bob Sanders,
Sanders, hopefully you won't be our DC next year. For the actual players, some of you are outstanding, (Woodson, Harris, Collins, Kampman,) some of you are pretty good (Williams, Chillar, Thompson, Poppinga) and the rest of you are awful. Keep in mind that I'm leaving out those of you who hit IR this year.

Dear Packers receivers,
You guys played a horrible first half of the game today dropping nearly everything that hit you in the hands, but you guys are amazing and wow. Two 1,000 yard receiving guys? Love all of you, TEs included.

Dear Ryan Grant,
I still don't love you too much. We lost several games early in the year because you did absolutely nothing. I know our O-line sucks at runblocking, but even when there are holes you miss them. But you had a handful of really good games, so take those and improve.

Dear Brandon Jackson and Deshawn Wynn,
Jackson, you're pretty great and I hope to see you get more carries. Wynn, stay healthy and I hope we keep you around.

Dear Packers O-line,
Most of you are big disappointments. Clifton, you killed tons of drives early in the year because you held everything that touched you. Tauscher, you're a bit over the hill now but your backup Moll is even worse. I'd hate to see you on another team. Colledge, you've improved a ton this year, you're our best runblocker and you're constantly getting put in different positions, but you played really well. I hope you continue to improve.

Dear Packers Special Teams,
Will Blackmon you're amazing and I hope you can keep returning for us. Mason Crosby, you had an iffy year and need to improve. I hope we keep you though. Kickoff and punt units on both sides of the ball you guys are just bad.

Dear Chicago Bears,

Fire Bob Babich. Get some safeties and corners that don't blow coverage against great receivers. Get a real receiver. An efficient offensive line would be nice too.

And please continue to throw to Greg Olsen more as well as playing Earl Bennett.

That is all.

Dear Randy Lerner,

Since I know this is someone else reading this (Randy, you are too puss to read potentially bad news), I have a message I'd like you to relay to him.

Please grow a backbone or a set of balls (both would be preferable). Your ineptitude and lack of internal strength have weakened the very core of what Cleveland Browns football should be. Problems are always at the top, and you are the only common denominator in another year of disappointment.

And don't give me any lip in return. The fact that you took Aston Villa from worst to top 5 lets me know when you care about something, you think enough to put effort into it. Everyone knows you love soccer because of this. You say you love the Browns, but from what I've seen you love the fanbase only because of our steadfast loyalty (which has been shaken, if you haven't noticed) and the money we bring you.

Very simply, come to us, soon, and admit your faults. Admit the hires were your fault, and every negative news clipping came because of your choices. Admit that the processes you've spent were flawed, as there are examples across the NFL of good teams being built quickly from bad situations.

Do all of this, and pick the RIGHT MEN for GM and coach (similar to the style of that coach you hired for Aston...a fiery disciplinarian), and we'll be there.

...But blow it this time, and you may lose a huge chunk of us to the Basketball team that plays right up the street. That would be one of the biggest travesty in the NFL--for one of it's flagship franchises to lose it's fanbase because of an owner's inability to recognize his own shortcomings.

...At least that other owner knows how to build a foundation.

Dear Tony Dungy and Tom Moore:
Please don't retire.

Dear Jim Sorgi: I don't care if you played well today, you should be a third stringer.

Dear Vikings: Thanks for winning the NFC North finally, and the playoff experience will be valuable to Jackson. God bless Minnesota and no place else

Adrian Peterson: smh

Tervarius or however you say it: You're the man

Visanthe Shiancoe: You're the man

Bobby Wade: You're the bad kind of short, not the Steve Smith kind. Please ask for a demotion on the depth chart.

Ryan Cook: Get some elbow extension surgery or something, your little t-rex arms make me sick. Lucky you, the '09 draft is full of potential franchise OTs....

Brian Robison: Stay motivated, you'll take Edwards' job someday...

Calvin Johnson: Come to Minnesota

Sidney Rice: You must not want the starting job very badly. Maybe it's just me, but you don't seem motivated. I still love you though

Berrian: Great work being the deep threat we needed. Work on your hands and run crisper routes though.

EJ Henderson: Our defense will be amazing when you return. XOXO

Brad Childress: You saved your job for another year, but please at least fire Bevell. I hate when coaches keep friends on their coaching staff, and this is no exception. And you took too many lessons in clock management from Andy Reid. Hopefully you know enough of his tricks to beat him next week.... I'm still waiting on you to start doing the robot when the Vikings make a big play...

Zygi Wilf: You're my favorite Jew. Mazel tov

Dear Matt Cassel,

You are awesome. Thank you for the fantastic year. You are truly a legitimate QB, and it was a ton of fun to watch you. You improved drastically over the year, and I think if we had the Matt we have now, we would easily have made the playoffs. I can't believe I'm saying this, but if there were news tomorrow that Tom Brady's injury is worse and will keep him out for the next year, or more at that, I would not be the least bit disappointed, thats how much I believe in you. I hope that we franchise you for the next year until Brady comes back and then trade you to a team I like so I can keep rooting for you. It was a great year and I think you proved a lot of people wrong, and this team got to the position its in not despite you, but because of you.

Dear Mr. Belichick,

You have got to be the best coach ever. What you did this year absolutely proved that it was the coach that created their recent success and not just the players (Brady specifically). Despite all of the injuries we suffered, you still took what you had and made an 11-5 football team that could've made the playoffs. This is your greatest work as a coach yet.

Dear Brett Favre,

My God you are awful. I just don't understand why you make the throws that you do and why you chose to throw them while leaning backwards especially. I just don't. And probably never will. Please retire...please?

Dear Minnesota and Houston.

Way to blow in two games that were easily your's to give the Colts two victories to keep them in the hunt instead of 0-5. You Minnesota, way to not get a single TD and 5 field goals, while Indy was doing nothing in the 1st half and you let them come back. And you Houston, way to give up like 24 points in the last two minutes at the end of your game to give Indy the win. Did you really need to be Elway 2.0 Sage Rosenfels? You just needed a first down, but noooo, I'm gonna keep it myself and fumble it twice, thus handing the W to the colts. jeez

Dear Dolphins,

Congrats on the AFC East championship. Prepare to lose to the Ravens (like you already have once this year) as you consistently beat bad teams and lose to good teams and there were more bad than good on your schedule this year. And they are a good team. (If you were wondering, record of Dolphins opponents in losses: 48-32; record of Dolphins opponents in wins: 70-106; just sayin')

Dear National Football League,

Thanks for the great year, this was the most intriguing season I've ever experienced. (lol, in my 8 years of legitimate memory) Oh and also, stop fining people all the time.
