This could go either way, Atlanta's defense has looked suspect all season long but they usually show when they have to.
But Arizona has seemingly lost everything that made them good earlier in the season.
I'll take the Falcons.

I going with the Falcons here. Also think it will be fairly high scoring, but the Falcons have to like getting Arizona you would think.

Kurt Warner's gonna lead Arizona past Atlanta at home
after watching both teams peformance last sunday...im slightly leading towards the cards.
Arizona has absolutely no running game...for that reason I am picking Turner and the Falcons
edgerin james came on strong last week looking like his oldself. i think he is the answer the cards have been looking for in the running game.
Lol no effin way edge is a scrub he hasnt done anything in Arizona.

there interior o line is garbage. no one has done anything behind that line with any sort of consistency. edge may not be the same, but all the blame cannot be placed on him.
well im not putting it all on him, arizona just has no running game period, lol
edit..i do think hightower is a better option though

The problem with Arizona is that they have like 10 run attempts a game. They just don't like running the ball.

have you seen them try to run? i dont blame them. they have one of the worst run blocking lines in the league. no wonder teams like them and the saints decide to go all pass happy.

the best back to a team with no blocking is a power back. Hightower runs with power but the edge is strictly that. he especially reminded everyone after last weeks performance. i get the feeling that he'll be playing with a chip on his shoulder.

James played well coz he hadn't played for a few weeks so he was fresh for the playoffs. pretty smart coaching although they have like no momentum going into the playoffs lol

I dont think Arizona can stop our running game, but i dont think we can really stop their receivers, hopefully we can run alot and keep it away from their offense

We pretty much know what Arizona is, and what their players are about. The offense is one dimensional, but dangerous. Warners gonna drop back and sling it around, if the defense get's some pressure on him he usually falls apart with costly turnovers. And when the Arizona defense has a bad day, they have a BAD day.
We don't really know Atlanta though, don't really know exactly how well they can play. Maybe Ryan steps it up to another level in the playoffs, or maybe he flops like most rookie QBs do in the post season.
Game should be entertaining.

John Abraham will have a big day,he didnt play last game so he should be rested up

matt ryan hasnt looked as good in the last 2 games as he has earlier in the season.
hopefully he steps up in the playoffs

Arizona, I think Atlanta's inexperience will be the downfall.

And Arizona is an experienced playoff team?If we lose that wont be the reason
Im going with the cards in this one mainly because I dont trust the falcons defense. I know the cards dont have that much of a defense either but they have a powerful offense. The same could be said for the falcons, but with the way matt ryan has been playing as of late, you can only expect the worse for him. And besides, the cards look good last week and shown that they can run the ball.

I'm talking QB position, a superbowl MVP, and 2 time MVP seems like experience to me. I think Ryan will have a hard time, but I'm just going on what you would think for a rookie QB, which might be crazy, as he hasn't played like a rookie all season.

I just don't trust the Cards. I mean, they were 6-0 against their crappy division, and 3-7 vs everyone else....

True, but Arizona hasnt been to the playoffs in a while.I think if we lose,it will be because of their WR's against our Corners

Against Seattle?..
That game was close for a while btw.
Against Seattle?..

Speaking of close games, the game vs the rams was pretty close and they basically did anything they wanted to you guys offensively. Steven jackson ran for 161 and bulger looked pretty solid. Matt ryan struggling throwing 1 int(the other int was a tipped pass. bad throw but tipped pass) and only throwing for 160 vs there piss poor secondary.
And after the dallas game, seattle has been playing well despite not having there best offensive player in matt hasselbeck under center. The wins may not show it but they've been competitive, knocking out the jets, and almost beating the pats. They obviously have the personel needed for success, just bad defensive coaching imo.
So I stick by my choice. I like the cards in this one especially with the way the falcons pass defense has been playing and how matt ryan has turned the ball over as of late.

Smart of them to pass and end the game like that rather than try and run off some clock. Bummed we won't get to see a final last drive attempt to win the game.

Goes both way in this games. Should of had another safety and a couple of pass interference calls.

I wouldn't be so sure.... Warner wasn't really all that impressive against the Falcons D. Obviously he had the 2 big TD's.... but the D was pretty solid against him(had him 5-14 at one point)

Looked like the defense lost it for us to me. The offense wasnt that good in the second but the D gave up way to many big plays and key 3rd downs. Im pretty sure Brookings is gone next year. That mfer sucks now.

Don't get me wrong, our D didn't help us down the stretch... but really they only gave up one drive... two huge plays hurt... but when you turn the ball over 3 times, leading directly to 9 points... it doesn't help.
We couldn't get our run game going, Roddy dropped an inexcusable ball.... but Brooking bit like an idiot on 3rd and 16.
Here's to next year.
