DS or PSP

I want a handheld but dont know which one to get. I really like the games on PSP and its ability to play Playstation 1 games,I also like the DS innovation. Which one do you recommend?

i havent really played with the ds but i think if i got caught in public with that thing i'd be embarrased

The PSP give a lot more for your buck tech wise,but the DS just has a lot of fun 2D platformers.

It really boils down to what you want to do with it. Both are great, and it really depends on which company & games you feel the most comfortable with.

If you want one for more than gaming, then you're obviously going to want the PSP.

PSP. If you have a PS3, it's pretty awesome using Remote Play and the other features. I take mine everywhere with me. And the emulators are sick. Definitely install Custom Firmware and get a PSP 2000, not a 3000. Unless you want to wait, they already found an exploit in the 3000 the other day. It's still going to take a while for CFW for the 3000.

I just got the Logitech PlayGear Slim. I've been waiting for them to release a slim version. It's awesome, you can make your own skins and completely personalize the case.

While the DS has some sick games, once you throw some Custom Firmware on your PsP its basically the best little tech to own.

PsP + CW + 4gb Memory Stick = Win, believe me after you do this that little bastard will be going with you wherever.

Crazy, I got 4gb and between the PsP-SNES-Genesis-Arcade-Ps1, Music, and Movies I have on it I'm more than happy with it. Just thinking of doubling the size I wouldn't even know what to do with it.

Speaking of what programs do you have on yours?...With my computer crashing a couple months ago I lost all my links to sites to get various PsP goodies.
