I know your site at the moment is mainly a source of news and content on sports games, but I was wondering if you had any plans on making it more interactive to the community, kind of the way MN was with tournaments, challenges, expansive forums and such. It seems like your following is increasing every day as most of the guys coming in remember all the work you did for MN and are getting disappointed into the slowly deteriorating SG forums. So you may or may not have thought about that but I just wondered about expanded in the future, because I can tell you myself that you will have a large backing if you do (even if you do have only 45 members right now :)). I'm loving your new site, keep up the good work.

Pasta isn't a "hoodrat" that makes forums lol,he'll get this thing off the ground quickly. Anybody that looks at the site can tell it's destined for a strong future.

Well the forums will come along here in terms of appearance and features. My hope is that a strong community will arise on its own. What kind of community it will be is dependent on the members and what they make of it. I'm not putting any sort of specific restrictions or pushing it towards any one idea. We'll see how it evolves.

Here is a FF league I got set up: http://pastapadre.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28

Since you've always been known for your Campus Legend and Superstar careers, is there a chance you might post a section for people to share theirs (aong with dynasties and all of that?)

We'll see how it goes. For now just keeping everything compact and concentrated in a few areas. If there is enough going on to support a new section I'll add it. I'm not going to expand into more sections unless its necessary though.

Yeah I was in fact wondering when this forum will get a makeover. Glad to hear it's in the process.

good post, LV. I miss the small-community, close-knit feel we once had in MN. I know Pasta's "baby" is the blog, but I hope the forums because an important extension to it.

Either way, I'll be here for the ride:)

I'm on board with everyone else.

I was glad that Pasta invited me over to his fourm as a mod. This has the makings of a tight community that most of us know about.

Hopefully it will be able to blossom into somthing great.

Good to hear we'll be getting some work to the forums. Put Nix's ass to work lol.

But I'd definitely be up for helping out with leagues and things like that. I've ran leagues in the past on PS2 so it wouldn't be a problem.

I used to hang out at MN some myself. While I like some of the things SG.com has done, it just doesnt really feel like "home". Thats why I come to PP's site :)

May I ask what happened to MN?

MN was purchased by SportsGamer, which was subsequently merged with a few other communities. Since then, SportsGamer has been purchased by CNET (which owns several websites including Gamespot).

I'll be hanging around.:)

Good shit Pasta, this place is coming together nicely. I do not see what you guys are talking about how SG feels any differant from MN. Feels the same to me. Charger is still the same homo ass Charger he was at MN, at SG.

A dynasty section would be nice. If you could add all the things SG and Maddenmania has for dynasty posters, this would definetly be a hot spot. I'd be more than happy to help with that aspect of the site as well, if needed.;)

I think a dynasty/franchise section would be great. It doesn't need to be much if you do decide to do it, just a basic area with a few essentials (code basically) would suffice.

I'd be willing to help out some if needed.

Don't need one on this board. Just post a link and hit reply. It will auto format it for you. ;)

Thanks Pasta, Then I would recommend a Dynasty Forum. You don't even need to break it down to each League or particular game. Just one dynasty forum. So we can have a mix of all Sports and games all in one spot. Would be cool to see a FSU, Falcons, Braves or Rangers dynasty in one forum.(random teams)

Ok, just a suggestion.:D

One more thing Pasta that would help dynasty people out is if you made the background all white. I know a lot of people including myself make the backgrounds white to help match the background.

Would it be that hard to change to change to a white background? I'm sure the dynasty guys would agree that a white background would make it a lot easier to work with. and could you please add the X and X commands?

I'm just throwing suggestions to make the forum more dynasty friendly.

Thanks

That would make it easier, everyone could then just copy and paste the info that they are posting without having to change anything.
