I want to see how much interest there is first, but I was thinking of doing an 8 teams (so I can user control the teams), we'd have a draft, 8 teams in the same conference so there's more head to head (and everyone would probably be in the playoffs since our teams would be loaded), you could set your depth charts/minutes and tactics (pace, pressure defense, rebounding, etc.). Much more, but I want to see if I can get 8 people first.

I'd be interested in this, and I'd like to hear more details. Will it be a 30 team (8 user) fantasy draft association? Or are we going to draft only with the 8 of us so we have stacked teams?

Anyways it sounds like fun.

It would be only us 8, so stacked teams. But we'd all be in the East or West, so we'd be all play head to head in the playoffs most likely. Other things I had in mind was doing offseason training, where I'd tell you how many points you gained based on awards your teams win, and you could choose to train guys in perimeter shooting, perimeter defense, big man offense/big man defense, rebounding, potential, and others. I was thinking just draft 12-15 guys and I'll make it so their contracts won't an issue. If we could keep it going for more than a year, you'd stick with the same roster, and if people retire then there would still be 11-14 other guys, you'd just have to decide if it's worth it to draft an older guy.

Wait till the season ends and there might be more interest.

Thats when all the U leagues usually take place I believe.

So got Raider, viking, hombre, myself...only need 4 more. This isn't really that time consuming...the initial draft will be the longest part.
