Aside from my title (and a few expletives here and there) I am at a loss for words... Oh gawd I wish MVP has the license back.

Wow... Has there ever been a game that has sold 0 copies?
MVP 2005 is still a much better game then 2K7, I'm hoping EA can get the license once the 2K deal is done. Wishful thinking.

I hate 2K baseball. The Bigs is alright for what it is, but MLB 2K7 is horrible IMO. I hope this Power Pro thing isn't like the rest with gameplay, more double and triples then singles. Most hits in MLB 2K7 go to the gap or out of the park, very few singles.
Maybe Power Pro will be like Sammy Sosa's Softball Slam for the PS2. I blew some money on that one.

The Show ftw
I still own MVP 05, and consider it the best baseball game I have ever played.

Yea MVP '05 was the shit. Easily the best baseball game, maybe the best sports game ever.
I remember playing in Pasta's MVP leagues that year, some of the more fun leagues I've been in.

I rented 2k7 this year, and eventually bought it just to get my baseball fix. I don't think I've played it in over 2 months though.

Atleast 2k Sports is trying to get there game up to par by hiring the former mvp 05 producer. The Bigs felt so much like mvp that I have faith in Ben and the rest of the makers of MLB 2K due to they seem to really care about making it a much more sim experience, and MLB 2K7 was so much better than MLB 2K6. This year they are adding the Minor league A though AAA. I heard somewhere that they have the minor league license, so they might be able to put all the right names in, not sure if this is true or not though. The problem I have with the 2K series, is that the game feels scripted. Also it seems like they are trying to make MLB games more mainstream, but honestly it feels like they are trying to milk the franchise sorta like EA with FIFA. I guess though that the more variety of baseball games they make, the more people they may find interested in the video game world of baseball.
