I'm still going to get the game, but I don't like the new interface and the annoying "100 Note Streak!" pop-ups. Kind of discouraging. Not to mention adding "Legends of Rock" onto the title just is completely stupid to me.

Exactly. I just feel like Guitar Hero games shouldn't be pigeon-holed into one category or themed, like Rock the 80's.

Just put some kickass guitar tunes on the soundtrack and people will be happy.

i think GHIII might be the best edition yet. The song list is amazing. I got the ENcore 80s version and didn't really like it as much as the others.

Two games I did pick up over the weekend is the Singstar series. That was pretty fun if you like karaoke. I like how the music vids play in the background. The thing I like about these games are you can keep them forever and play them. These kinds of games are the only reason I still even have a PS2.

On Rocks the 80's the song on there by Limozeen "Because, Its Midnite" has a 300 note section that elapses in about 10 seconds, its worse than Jordan.

"Six" on GH2 is the hardest song IMO..."Jordan" is pretty tough too.

i dont know i play on guitar hero habitually when im bored, its always there and never gets old. im looking forward to this dragonforce song, its a challenge - the only song i cant beat on expert is jordan lol
