This will be for the 360. Gamertag, preferred teams, and anything that you think would help your cause. Its way early for me to start deciding but someone who expresses interest now and does again in a month or two would obviously seem more committed.

What'll have to happen is the franchise members or commish will have to come up with some sort of structure on how to handle it. Create your league's own free agency system on the forums or something along those lines and bid it out.

Pasta... although there isn't a salary cap in offline franchise... will it still be a grading scale on trades? in terms of B for B trades... vs. free-for-all... Randy Moss for a 3rd string Center...

b/c if so... franchise leagues... will only have to worry about a number trade limits... resign limits... and free agent signing limits...

it would be dope to have a thread about proposing solutions for this in the interim...

for instance...

- each team can make no more than 3 trades during the regular season year...

- each team can make no more than 2 trades during the draft...

- each team can make no more than 4-5 trades during the offseason...

(although, those numbers seem a bit high for the avg. team...)

- any trades with CPU teams must have majority approval from franchise owners...

- free agency will be similar to the draft... franchises with the worse record gets first dibs...

- during the offseason, owners must resign a certain percentage of players in with 1 year left on contracts... (not sure if this makes any sense... the aim is to keep some consistency in the league... and prevent folks from completely unloading teams...

I like the idea actually LOL. If you got the right members. You give every team a Salary Cap and each season move the Salary Cap number up like the real NFL. Let people bid on them like you said and if they are willing to give the house than that will eventually hurt the rest of there team unless your the Seahawks GM because I honestly don't know how Ruskell does it every year but he always lands a lot of top FA and the Seahawks never have CAP problems. This should give you more of a feeling of being a real GM of your team than anything else they could have implemented IMO.

Yea something like that. It starts with the salary cap though. All FA's should have a listed salary CAP in place and I would think that the real life players will have there salary in the game or we can get it from the team site. You still have to have 56 players on your roster so in any case you would have to give up something for him and still fit him under your salary cap.

There also is no trade logic online with CPU controlled teams. With user vs user trades the commish will have to approve. With trades through CPU teams might have to do something like propose the trade on the forum and have it voted on so the commish can put it through if deemed fair.

the workaround could be... "trade under review"... where the commish tries to duplicate the trade offline... and if it's a go... then it's a go...

however, once teams get to mixing and matching... it will continue to get tough to replicate...

well they said they can update online franchise because its server-based, but everytime madden promises a patch or dlc (ie madden 09 with accelerated clocks), we never get it. thats why i have no hope that they will fix the issue, and i might just get ncaa instead since its a finished product. madden imo is unfinished, take 09 for example lol.

Just posting again cause' I’m pumped for this. FormerInsideMan. As the Vikings and Cowboys have gotten a lot of requests the bills would be awesome. Also someone mentioned a fantasy draft, which would be intriguing. Finally, for all the cap and trade stuff, what about running an offline franchise at the same time and use that for restrictions. For games just save and then sim until the right team wins. Just a thought.

Here's an idea....I think it should be (or at least this is how we are going to do it in the OF I Commish)....The teams with the worst records get first dibs on the Free Agents....kind of like the Draft format...that way the bottom feeders of the League never get too far behind the top teams and they have a chance at top Free Agents to improve their team.....just a thought for your League....

Also Pasta....can you take the Franchise Offline like Online Dynasty? Because if so I am importing my Leagues Rookies from NCAA10 and then uploading the Dynasty...because I'd rather have guys we know from our Online Dynasty from teams we have then these famous "Head Coach & Hand Made rookies".....I'll pass on them....

I have been a part of sim madden leagues dating back to 06. I currently am a dedicated veteran of NFL Fans, have been with them since season 3 and we will be starting season 22 with the release of madden. Have always been interested in doing one of these with pasta, i tried getting in ncaa last year but missed the boat. Would like a shot here. I play sim, prefer the bears as its my home town team, second is the Eagles as I love McNabb (went to same high school) and the only AFC team i really pay attention two would be my 3rd choice of the colts, if none of those are available i would be open to whomever so i can get in, just would prefer not to be the damn lions.

3. Raiders

I have a lot of experience playing and helping run Madden leagues (can help in this one if it's needed.) I am a sim style player meaning I don't run a no huddle all game or go for it on 4th and 3 from my own 35 yard line in the 1st quarter. Would love to join, thanks for the opportunity.

I too am late to the party. With that in mind, I also realize you wind up with scraps. I'd take any team. I'd just like to be down. But, list of choices, Washington, Arizona, Green Bay, Philly, . But any team if possible.
