Round 1: Early feeling out by both fighters, Okami has the edge in striking. Kampman ends the round by getting in a full mount, which is reversed.

Round 2: Several good strikes by Okami, it is clear that he is winning the in the striking game. Kampmann takes the fight to the ground and attempts a body triangle late, but the round ends.

Round 3: Much like the previous rounds, Okami has the advantage striking, but eventually gets brought to the ground. Okami tires, and Kampmann attempts a Kimura, getting it locked in at 4:25.

Result: Kampmann over Okami by submission.

Note: Great fight, YUNGMONEY JR 22 was a very skilled opponent, and may have even been ahead on the cards. I have no doubt he'll be challenging for the (hopefully my) title very soon.

Round 1:

Both men seemingly evenly matched. Swick tries to stick with the standing game, while Parysian tries to keep it on the ground. Swick lands a ton of kicks near the end of the round. Parysian is cut under his right eye

Round 2:

Parysian starts the round off with a couple good take downs, but Swick quickly reverses. Parysian being agressive with the ground game this round, trying to catch Swick with a leg bar. Swick gets out of it and works his way back to mount, and Parysian is having a hard time escaping. He looks dazed, but Swick can't finish and both men are standing back up. Swick is looking for the KO kick, but Parysian is ready for it and takes him down. Now Parysian has mount, but Swick gets out of it. Round comes to an end with Swick laying in a barage of kicks to Paysian

Round 3:

Parysian quickly throws Swick down and is looking for a kimuera, but Swick sweeps him onto his back, trying to get the mount, Parysian fights it, but Swick manages to posture up, big right hand, this one is over!

Winner via KO at 3:34 of the 3rd Round: Mike Swick

Video: Not happening, turns out the video is just barely too long for YouTube (and I really though they wouldn't let me even try and upload it if it was)

Too bad too, as this was an awesome fight, a real slugfest. No offense to any of my other opponents, but it was nice to make it to the 3rd round.

SoonerTEX

Champion Rashad Evans (Ml2ABKJ19cp26) vs. Dan Henderson (LH) (SoonerTEX)

Round 1
The two fighters feel each other out for a brief moment and then Henderson catches Evans off-guard with a charging overhand right. Henderson catches Evans again with a straight left, but Evans quickly recovers. After Evans gets some kicks in and attempts a right hand, Henderson gets the takedown. However, Henderson doesn't maintain his position and Evans is quickly back to his feet and the fight resumes with both men standing. Evans begins to get close to Henderson and pummels him with jabs and uppercuts. Henderson again scores a takedown, but after some carefully placed transitions, Evans reverses and gets on top. Evans works all the way to mount and eventually postures up. After some blows to Henderson's skull, Henderson spins to back mount. The two fighters eventually stand simultaneously and both look to capitalize with an overhand lefts. Henderson connects with an overhand left a split second before Evans can get his overhand left to land, and Evans' mouthpiece goes flying. (I literally jumped off my couch in shock)

The ref calls a stop to the fight at 4:05 of the 1st round via knockout, and the NEW LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, DAN HENDERSON!

Ml2ABKJ19cp26 is more than a formidable champion and it took an opportune punch for me to score a victory. I have no doubt that we would have gone a few more exciting rounds had the fight not stopped, and I was almost ashamed to take his title that way. I know I will be seeing him again in the future and he will be hungry to take the title back. For now, I will gladly enjoy this victory, and I look forward to defending my belt at PFC 5.

Keith Jardine (RKW3) ........ James Irvin (Th3H1tm4n)

In Keith Jardine's first non-title fight, he looks for redemption.

ROUND 1
Both fighters start off cautious, they refuse to make contact for the first 30 seconds. James Irvin starts to get some good kicks in, and both fighters trade blows for awhile. Keith Jardine eventually gets a takedown throw from double underhooks, and while he gets side control he's unable to mount. James Irvin escapes and soon lands a big head kick. Keith Jardine gets into mount eventually after another nice throw and although he gets some nice strikes, he is unable to finish.

ROUND 2
Early on in round 2, James Irvin was getting sloppy with his strikes. He threw an errant head kick from too far away, so it missed, and then Jardine countered with a devastating superman punch. James Irvin falls slowly and dramatically, KO victory for Keith Jardine early on in the 2nd round. In his press conference following the fight, Keith Jardine discussed how badly he wanted his title back. "I had a hiccup against Rashad Evans, but the title belongs with me," says the Dean of Mean. We'll have to see if he gets a #1 contender fight opportunity next week.

1st Round:
Fighters touch gloves...
Coleman lands a few right punches...
Mir misses with a kick...
Mir catches one of Coleman's punches and pulls him down on top of him...
Mir reverses a transition...
Mir gets the Mount...
Lands a few punches...
Coleman gets out and gives up his back...
After a bit of back and forth struggling Coleman gets back to his feet.
Mir lands a hard right...
Mir catches a Coleman punch and tries to bring him down... nothing...
A lot of strategy here with Coleman trying to stay on his feet and Mir trying to work the ground game...
Neither are succeeding...
End of Round 1...
I would score that round 10-9 Mir

Round 2...
More of both players strategy... back and forth unsuccessful attempts
Mir finally gets his down...
Into Rubber Guard...
Into Mount...
Screen goes black and white...
...
...
Coleman gets out...
They are back to their feet...
Both are throwing hay makers...
Both are missing wildly...
A couple get in for both...
Mir catches a Coleman right hook...
Brings him down...
Coleman is guarding for the rubber guard...
Mir catches his arm next to his head...
Triangle Choke...
Coleman...
...
...
Taps out...

Gabrial Gonzaga (Jazz Trance) VS Brandon Vera (Chad182)

Round 1
The fight starts with both fighters trading blows on the feet. Gonzaga seems to be getting the better of it so Vera grabs for the Muay Thai clinch. A couple of knees later and Gonzaga grabs and knee and pulls it too the ground. He quickly secures a kneebar. Vera is able to power out. Vera quickly gains the clinch again and lands a quick couple of knees to the face before Gonzaga catches another knee and takes the match back to the ground. He immediately secures the kneebar again but this time Vera is too weak to break the hold.

Winner: Gabrial Gonzaga by submission in Round 1 at 3:31

Gabrial Gonzaga is the #1 Contender for Frank Mir's Title

LW Title Fight:
Champion Sean Sherk (HotRod9228) VS Thiago Tavares (chad182)

Round 1
The fight starts with some blows traded by both sides. Tavares lands a nice flying knee. Tavares then goes for the muay thai clinch but Sherk blocks nearly every knee strike. It becomes apparent that Sherk is dominating on the feet so Tavares counters a punch and pulls guard. From guard Tavares is quickly overmatched too. Sherk gets mount at one point but Tavares struggles out. Overall, Sherk dominates the first round.

Round 2
Realizing he is overmatched, Tavares comes out acting crazy. Several blocked flying knees, spinning back kicks, and nothing seems to be working. He fails to get the takedown and is soon taken down by Sherk. Tavares has rubber guard but all attempts to roll to a dominate position are blocked so Tavares goes for a Triangle Choke. This is quickly a mistake because Sherk powers out to side control and slips into mount. Sherk proceeds to pound out of the fight for the win by KO.

Winner: Sean Sherk by KO at 4:12 in Round 2.

Sean Sherk successfully defends his Lightweight Title!

Round 1
Davis comes out swinging while saunders is just trying to get a fell for the match. saunders throws a couple of head kicks only one lands. davis foes for the takedown and gets it, but saunders quickly goes for the submission but fails. fight stands back up and saunders get davis in the clinch and just murders him with a combo of knees and uppercuts. davis finally breaks from the clinch and goes for the takedown but fails and saunders rolls around to davis back and from there gets in the mount position and from there on out davis tries to get up but cant and saunders eventually knocks him out with a hammer fist.

Georges St-Pierre (Bleednornge72) VS Amir Sadollah (chad182)

Round 1
The first round starts out really even. Strikes are traded back and forth and the first several minutes are spent on the feet. Sadollah then takes GSP to the ground with a double leg takedown. GSP counters the first strike with an armbar attempt before Sadollah powers back to the feet. Later in the round Sadollah ends up in control of the Rubber Guard before turning GSP to mount. He only is able to land a couple shots before the round ends. Amir has a cut under his right eye. Round could go either way.

Round 2
Round is pretty even again, but it seems GSP is getting the better of the fight on the feet. Sadollah gains the Muay Thai clinch and lands a couple knees to the head and body. GSP breaks free and both fighters look exhausted.

Round 3
Sadollah comes out with a flying knee attempt but GSP side steps and hits the head kick. Knock Out! Fight Over.

Winner: Georges St-Pierre by KO at 0:18 of Round 3

This was a super even fight. Bleednornge72 told me it was his last fight so if possible I'd love to drop Amir and pick up GSP. Maybe I could do some damage with a higher rated fighter.

Tyson Griffin (SoonerTEX) vs. Nate Diaz (AhoyItsThom)

Round 1
The two fighters circle each other to start the match. Griffin is able to get some clean strikes in before taking the fight to the ground. He transitions to half guard and Diaz tries to catch him offguard with a submission attempt. Griffin breaks out of the hold and brings the fight back to the standing position. Griffin catches Diaz with an overhand left and then shoots for the takedown as Diaz attempts some jabs. Griffin is able to posture up in the mount, lays some devastating strikes and eventually knocks out Diaz.

Tyson Griffin wins via KO at 2:52 of Round 1

Good match, AhoyItsThom...good luck the rest of the way.

Round 1: Edgar got some nice punches in on the feet and got the fight to the ground where he passed Florian's guard and eventually got the full mount where he did most of his work and scored some points to win the first round.

Round 2: Florian is able to get the fight on the ground and get some punches in from side control. Edgar gets the fight to the feet and gets a takedown from a body clinch but it doesn't take long for the fighters to get back on their feet. Edgar uses the body clinch again but as he takes Florian down, Florian sinks in a guillotine and gets Edgar to tap.

Kenny Florian via Tap Out at 2:45 in Round 2

I was so disappointed, nice work reversing my throw to get the guillotine. I had such a nice first round, I really blew it by letting you submit me.
