Indeed Iron, but I can't totally remember how they left off. Last thing I remember was E still being pissed at Vince, while Vince supposedly doing a movie with Scorsese. Any trailers or teasers hit the net to show what this season may be about?

ive been on an entourage marathon the last few weeks. i have seasons 1-4 on dvd and watched them all again from start to finish. plus our crappy tv station is only getting season 5 the last few weeks so i watched them again eventhough i had already seen them on the net.
If you have HBO On Demand, you can watch the last season.
I can't wait either.
Anyone check out Hung yet? Still haven't watched the first episode. I wonder what time slot that will end up in when Entourage comes back.

The comments under the video are hilarious....
"Makes me wanna go to Hollywood and make it"
FAIL
I believe that comment was taken out of context
What did everyone think of the season premiere? I thought the season would start with him starting production on the Scorcese movie. I didn't realize we were going to find Vince already done with the movie.
Looks like things are going to be different for everyone since they don't seem like they are going to be living together anymore.

Sloan is annoying. And her interaction with E makes him annoying too.
100 days of hell for Lloyd should be pretty funny, though.
ya i don't care for the whole E/sloan storyline. I hate both of their characters

Who cares how annoying Sloan is, she's hot as fuck.
People who actually like a good storyline actually care. There are more than enough eye candy on the show, that Sloan doesn't need to be on there if her character sucks.

Personally I like Sloan and E. Not as much as Ari, Turtle, and Vince though. Drama is the one who I find the most annoying. Although he does have his moments.

The last part of the episode felt like it could have been the finale to the entire show. Everybody going their own ways.

Yeah, my disdain for E just grows by the half-hour. Was it just me or was the banter between the guys at the start of the episode kind of stale? I don't know if it were the jokes or not, but something about them going back and forth was just a bit lame.

The kid who plays E is a horrible actor, that scene at the beginning when he was kissing the girl goodbye was horribly acted, he looked scared to kiss her. What a Ginger. Turtle peeing in the tub with Meadow, Classic.

Not gonna lie, thought I was watching an old episode at first seeing as they went back to the old house and made fun of E and girls. Seriously thought I had clicked on an old episode by mistake.
Episode was good though, sets up the season nicely. The new agent who is Ari's friend really seems like a guy who will bring down the show a bit. Does not seem natural on there and not a funny character.

I have a feeling he's either going to:
A)Be an alcoholic. How many times did he drink or ask Ari to go out for a drink
or
B)Completely try to screw Ari over.

I could see Andrew Klein and Babs getting together to stick it to Ari. I like Gary Cole as an actor - Reese Bobby and the voice of Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law...now that's a resume.

What's funny is that it's all solid work. I'm sure there's some "doing it for the money" stuff on there, but for the most part it just looks like this guy likes his job and doesn't care if it's TV or movies. Good for him.

Wow, it appears E's balls have finally dropped. There may be some hope for him yet.
Is it me, or is Vince not the main storyline anymore? It seems the season thus far is more collectively structured upon Ari, E and Vince than previous years when Vince was the main story and there were just sub-plots from him.

Tonight's episode was a low point in Entourage. Not in quality of the episode but in quality of the girls. That one Ashley girl is ugly. She looks 13 years old.
It's awkward watching Jamie Sigler and Turtle have a relationship. From the preview you see that the media thinks so as well. I wonder if this means the end is near for the storyline. Which I think would be good.
Sloan is annoying still.
I'm curious to see what will happen with Ari, and Andrew Klein. Seems Ari is pretty clear he doesn't want that dude cheating on his wife. maybe he fires him?
And yes that chick is hideous. I've seen her on other shows and she was ugly then.
Sloan is annoying still.
She's so hot though. Eric just didn't hit it right, that's all.
SheriffBooth
07-20-2009, 08:05 AM
I spent the episode thinking that Ashley girl was some kind of stalker nutjob. So it was a cool twist that E gave up on Sloan (text message - DELETE) and moved on, at least temporarily.
Anyone remember the mid level agent girl that Klein might be tapping from the last season of the OC?
Ya Taylor. She was hot. And she was a freak on the OC. lol Hopefully we see more of her
Yea, that Ashley chick is weird looking. Her face is all bunched up on the bottom of her head. She has a long head and a small face, and she looks like she's 4.
Sloan is hot.
what's weird about that actress who played ashley was I first saw her on that show Invasion like 4 years ago. She was supposed to be 16 then, and looked it. Now she's supposed to be 24 or 26 E said? She still looks 16 lol

Episode was good, nothing really to wow me yet. I prefer the show when Vince is about to jump on a movie or is filming one, so I'd like to see it get going a bit. I seriously doubted Scorcese would do anything other than that one appearance, so I was prepared for something like this without seeing anything Gatsby related.
I'm not sure about that one girl, I did laugh when they said she was 24. But the girl with Drama was hot as hell.

Yeah Jeffrey Tambor didn't need another appearance. Nothing about him and Ari was funny.
Eric's love triangle, Turtle and Jamie, is this even Entourage anymore?
There have been relationships on this show before, but never have they been at the forefront of the story.
If you divert your attention for one second this season, you wouldn't even realize Vince is doing Enzo Ferrari and a voice over for some CGI movie.

I watched all the seasons up to this one, and I haven't watched any this season. It seems the show is good for the first episode or two, then spins its wheels for the whole rest of the season until the finale, and they they tie everything up at once. Like last year how Vince went from fired/unemployed to getting a Scorsese movie in and making everything better in the finale. I'm guessing this year started out with Vince riding high again. The writing is so cheap. But as someone said, lots of breasts.

Lots of filler outside season 1, 2, and 5.
Season 2 will always be the best. Very little filler, and each episode moved towards something.
Season 5 imo is right below season 2. More filler than 2 but still had a steady sense of progression.

You mean to tell me they've been building up this stalker story arc for multiple episodes only to have it be some lame sorority prank? Jesus.
Drama's makeup bit wasn't funny.
How long are we going to go through this will they won't they with Ashley?
And isn't it convenient that Lloyd would get an offer from Davies the same day Ari decides to blow a fuse.
i saw the last ep yesterday. Another blow fest.
-not a lot of vince. WTF? The show is centered around him.
-too much E and that ugly skinny bitch.

Entourage started it's short journey to sucking in Season 3 when they decided to split the season in two parts. That allowed all these assholes to think they are really as cool as the characters they play...I mean, if Adrian Grenier was half the actor he's supposed to be playing, Entourage would be winning Emmys.

Better episode last night. The Ari/Lloyd storyline is acceptably interesting. Hopefully the E storyline has worked its course and is done for the year.
my thoughts exactly on last nights ep. I'm also tired of Turtles "i'm cool because I date meadow soprano and all the girls at the local community college love me". How long before he starts going by Sal and they completely kill off Turlte lol. I guess he had to grow up at some time.
I hope E's love life is done as well. That ruined the season for me. And I'd like to see more of Lloyd/Ari's story.
SheriffBooth
09-21-2009, 01:52 PM
I did like the scene where the girl was like "Who are you?" and Turtle sort of shrugs and says "I'm Turtle".
But the scenes of Ari and Lloyd working against each other to do work for Drama - that's classic Entourage material. I don't think the real Ari Emanuel would have let a client walk, though, for any reason.
The season as a whole has sucked, but I've really enjoyed the last two episodes. It's felt more like entourage. Seems like all the guys have been getting equal camera time with a little more Ari. Add to that seeing Terrance come back brought up some old memories of the gold old days of entourage. It's too bad it took so long for them to have some decent eps.
Funny how that douche Adam and Lloyd will now be working for Ari again lol. I'm really interested in this story line. I wish they didn't wait so long to introduce it. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the Sloan/E storyline. FML...

I thought it was funny that E felt like he was degrading himself by sleeping with someone Drama had been with. Uhhhh, E, you've got a 22-inch inseam and are agent nobody. Drama's at least a TV star and not a midget.
Anyway, agree that the last two epi's have been up to par. There's no better scene in Entourage than when Ari is storming into somewhere, whether it's his own office or someplace else.
Ari also surprised me by drawing a vagina on that piece of paper. I thought he was going to write "NOTHING!" like Terrance did to him when he said what he was prepared to offer ari before he fired him.
So what did everyone think of the season finale?
I thought the show ended pretty well. Glad the Jaime/Turtle story is done with. Hopefully we see less of E/Sloan now too lol.
The matt damon cameo was gold. He was intense. lol
Liked seeing Ari buy the company and keep Lloyd around "Congrats your a real Asian" lol. And of course it's always good to see Adam Daves fired.
Maybe we'll see more of Drama doing something since he's going to get his own show.
Overall I thought this season was below average. It had it's ups and downs with way more downs than ups. The way it ended it sets up for a good season next year if done correctly.

Yeah the Ari storylines have been entertaining and Matt Damon was great. But the Eric & Sloan thing was brutally dumb and the Turtle stuff was bad too.

The paintball scene was golden. Pure Ari. I love it.

Finally finished watching the episode and for the most part it wasn't that bad. One thing for certain though this episode really made me wish the whole series was an hour long. Everyone got a good bit of face time and it just ran well, even though I could've did without the Sloan/ E deal.
ALSO!!!... Matt Damon at the end of the episode has to be the highlight of the season. I almost wanna say those 5min alone made up for this lackluster season.

Very surprised, I thought the episode was great even though seeing lebron and bono show up for no reason made me want to vomit.
I'll look past the week points because when drama got that deal I actually did a fist pump and said fuck yes. All the scenes with Ari were amazing as well.
This show has sucked and for so long and this season was probably the worst but if they could build on this episode (darkness before the dawn?) maybe next season will be good. I'll probably continue to watch no matter what though because Drama is my favorite character on television right now. He always delivers. Kevin Dillon needs an emmy.

E/Sloan & Turtle/JLS were brutal story lines all season. Ari was all that made this season worthwhile - I'd say it makes some sense for the show's concept to evolve from "Entourage" to focusing more on the agency/business side of things. Maybe one last season of Entourage followed by a new show revolving around Ari's mega-agency.
The attempts to turn E and Turtle into more than supporting characters has been awful.
it's like if they could just say that turtle and e went their own way and focus on the Chase bros, and ari's agency it'd be a great show. They have the story lines all setup to go that way. E and sloan go off and do their own thing with cameo's /updates from E on the show. And turtle moved back to queens or something. lol

Funny you mention that, I always thought E was the main character.
Vince is what the story is about, but it's mostly told from E's perspective and how he gets Vince from point A to B.

I know I'm waaay late to the party, and I can't look back at the thread for spoiler reasons, but i just started watching the show and it's now one of my favorites.
For some reason I just never thought it would be a show I'd like, but my wife started watching it while I was playing video games about a month ago and I'd constantly find myself drifting away from whatever I was doing, and end up watching an episode.
So I caved and dove in - I now own seasons 1-5 and I would have purchased HBO for season 6 had I not been such a stubborn bastard about the show.
Btw, Best Buy has all seasons of the show for $15 (season 3 p.1&2=$30) through January 30.
Long story short = Great show, up there with my favorites.
