Ok i created the league and left everything as ESPN's default. We can decide on scoring all that. I just wanted to reserve the draft time. It's Sunday Sept 6 and 10 pm est. I figured i'd put it late at night so everyone has a chance to be home.
I also put the timer to 120 sec since so many of you bitched about the 90 secs lol. I'll be sending out invites soon. It's 12 guys and your $50 or $75 whatever we were going with, is due before the draft.

Any night during the regular work week is better for me than the night before a holiday. I value those evenings like gold, and as much as I like you guys, I don't intend to use it up on a fantasy draft.
So, I'm cool with the 31st, or the 1st through the 3rd for that matter. But if I've got to autodraft no big deal - I hear 3 defenses wins chapionships.

As the mediator, I remember calculating the potential outcomes of the "BS" trade between BME and Terror, and it wouldn't have changed anything, and if it did, it would've benefited BME and not Terror. I highly doubt we all conspired together to veto your trade in an attempt to sabatoge your team. I honestly can't remember the specifics of the trade but at the time even BME had second thoughts about it going through.
If my trade would have gotten the same reaction i'm sure it would have been been vetoed.

These things aren't a big deal, but a couple tweaks I can suggest, but if not it's no big.
Passing:
Current: 1 pt. per 25 pass yds.
Suggested: 1 pt. per 30 pass yds. (I say 30, because I believe 100 rush yds=300 pass yds and making it so would lead to equivalency and balance through each position)
Safeties:
Current: 2 pts.
Suggested: 4pts because they're rare as hell.
Pts Allowed:
35-45 pts allowed
Current: -7 pts.
Suggested: -4 pts. Even the best defenses give up a 35 spot once in a while, especially if their QB sucks (see Minnesota), so I think that's a bit harsh. Like I said I'm just nit picking though but I won't be butthurt if we keep it as is.
Also, are we going to do any bonuses this year? 50+ yard reception/run? For going over 100 yds/150 yds/200 yds? Passing over 350 yards/400yds?

I always thought the fact passing touchdowns were only worth 4 points is what made that "balance" active.
Putting it to 1 point = 30 yards would just off-set that.
I don't remember the exact trade but I'm sure Jericho Cothery was involved. Terror put him in EVERY trade. Was this the trade that Terror was talking up Sage Rosenfels too? lol

we did bonuses last year correct? I can change that. People looked at the scoring and said "looks good to me" although I think they were too lazy to really look at it and make suggestions. Draft order will be set Friday. I will hit randomize 3 times and that's where we will all end up

40/50+ yd rec. (+1)
I might be off on a couple. But that's the basics. Actually, I'm sure the settings we had last year are viewable on ESPN. I'll try and check.

i didn't even look at that. i'll change it to last years. Last years was good because the playoffs were done in weeks where games still mattered and teams still played their guys
