Lets have all owners vote for other teams too...way to easy to vote for yourself

That being said, I'll go with the Eagles. Washington's QB situation killed their chances lol

If my team does not win, then you guys do not know your NFL.

With that said, my favorite offensive tandems are Peyton to Megatron and Quinn to the cornerbacks.

Your #2 WR is a rookie and your #1 is a #2 on his NFL team. That's why.

By the way, I updated your Oakland depth chart, Terror. I wouldn't have f'ed up if you actually made a depth chart we could follow :ninja:

Yea, but I also have the #1 as my #3 lol.

I have the perfect receivers for the West Coast, and Santonio can stretch the field as well.

BTW, I'm not actually this cocky, I'm just having some fun lol. That being said, I like the Panthers, Jets, and Raiders offense.

Don't forget Eddie Royal he is a importance piece to my starting lineup, as I will operate primarily out of the 3-WR set with McFadden being the starter and Barber being used as a short yardage back. Please update my starting lineup as such due to a steal in Otah being available for the time being he is going to be my starting RT due to his impressive performance last year:

3-WR Set

QB: Tom Brady
HB: Darren McFadden
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Braylon Edwards
WR: Eddie Royal
TE: Jason Witten
LT: Jason Peters
LG: Alan Faneca
C: Ryan Kalil
RG: Max Jean-Gilles
RT: Jeff Otah

Key Reserves:
Tony Ugoh
Marion Barber

A Super Bowl MVP WR goes to Seattle with high expectations despite never having even 1 1000 yard season?

hmm I have a weird feeling of deja vu

Santonio will not be the #1 for long, lets be honest, Crabtree has that secured for the long term.

1. Crabtree
2. Holmes
3. Ward

Nobody can deny that is a great possession group with the potential for big plays at any moment.

But nice connection with Branch, lol, I'll give you that.

Nobody has any idea what Crabtree will be yet lol. He hasn't even participated in OTA's

MannyBeltre

Nobody has any idea of what a player will turn out to be when you draft them, you have to project what you think they will be. I (and you by seeing you label him the franchise) think he is going to be one hell of a player.

just be sure not to yell at him, you'll make him tear up

Tdoggy

I don't really have any projection what he's going to be. I sure as hell hope he turns out to be good. I want to get his ass into camp to see what he can do.

MannyBeltre
07-30-2009, 04:15 PM
Well even if he does not pan out like I think he will, not like Ward and Holmes have failed as the top two receivers for their team.

How is my team getting overlooked as the best offense currently in the UNFL? It's blasphemy! With arguably the best QB in the land throwing to the best TE in the game and at least the second best WR core in the UNFL. Add in a talented YOUNG o-line and RB duo and it should be a shoe in.

I really like what Dlips was able to do with his offense, even though he went defense early on.

Fort's offense would win if he had an established threat at QB, but I think Quinn will be just fine

Terror's offense has huge potential, Peyton has never had every WR run a 4.3. Shit, Tony G is probably as fast as Wayne lol

Also Raider I'd give your offense more due if you actually picked pass blocking linemen.

Four of your five starters strive in the run game. Jason Peters is the most well balanced and he just let go 11 sacks last season. Not to say they can't adequately protect Brady, but he's certainly not going to get the same pocket with your line as he would from New England's starting five

peters was mad at the front office so those sacks didnt count

and we all know what happens to brady when he doesnt get proper protection

Sacks allowed much like INT's are overrated stats they are not always the product of bad play by and individual player. The fact that he has appeared in two straight pro bowls and was coveted by half the league when he was on the trade block speaks much more volumes to me than his sacks allowed stat. And yes being unhappy at work does affect your performance and he was down right miserable in Buffalo.

so lemme get this straight, someone who allows 11.5 sacks is better than someone who allows 1 or 2? him being upset at the FO is a legitimate excuse to have a woeful season? cuz it sounds like that player's a bitch/crybaby to me to let your QB get killed like that. and youre right, making two straight pro bowls is an indication of skill when roy williams made about 3 straight and we all know how great he was

Well when it comes to being a bitch (Ochocinco) or crybaby (Cutler) i'm sure your team is the exception. I have been trying to find the sacks allowed stat for Peters in the prior two years but if that is your measuring stick then i'm sure 06 and 07 would quell those concerns. As I said among his peers and half the league Peters is regarded as a premiere tackle. I'm interested in what you are really questioning here is it his pure talent and skill set or the mentality to make the most of those talents? Or do you honestly believe that for 3 years prior to last (Where he still went to the pro bowl) were all a fluke? From someone who I know is hoping for a bounceback season from Ocho I find that highly unorthadox.

You mean the same ochocinco who was battling leg injuries the whole year playing without carson palmer and had the heart to keep playing? Or the jay cutler who was 13-1 when denver's sorry ass defense didn't allow 21 or more points? The same cutler who threw for 4500 yards in his 2nd full season starting? Its peters' mentality, clearly. Peters was highly regarded because of his athleticism but didn't start to put it together until the season before last. Then he allows 11.5 sacks the very next season so he wasn't particularly established cuz he was always about potential lol. The thing that makes it worse is that ugoh actually has an excuse and didn't allow even half of peters' sacks. He's sorry, and its utterly laughable that you're defending him so adamantly. He's as much of a bitch as shawn andrews, but at least andrews didn't play at all instead of staying and actually staining his playing reputation.

To me an excuse is an excuse regardless of how we orchastrate it in our minds. T.J had a solid season without Palmer and Cutler is a huge reason why teams were allowed to score so many points on Denvers shitty D. With this being a league wide draft some home run swings are inevidable can you at least agree if Peters has the same season he had in 07 that there is no way in hell he lasts pass the 2nd round of this draft? I did not take him with my 1st or 2nd round pick that would have been laughable but a top notch tackle in round 5 not so much. I know he would not be there without question marks i'm not foolish enough to believe he is blemish free but the reward to me is worth the risk. I look at the entire picture, 3 out of 4 pro bowl caliber seasons (2 actual) at only 27 with all the physical tools to dominate. Home.Run.

So chad being hurt the entire year is supposed to have the same weight as someone who just felt like playing shitty? I've heard it all. And TJ had his numbers because he was healthy and started nearly every game meanwhile Chad's playing condition was damn near questionable every week. I give up though, 11.5 sacks allowed because he didn't feel like playing = home run
