The movie is meant to be seen in 3D.

From what I've read only the humans are real, the rest is CG.

Environments produced by CG are definitely making leaps but the skin textures still have a ways to go.

i guess there showing a sneak preview in selected theaters. I really wanted to go but it ain't even in my city. I have a feeling this one is gonna be good, since Cameron says he only makes a movie when he finds a major leap in movie technology.

I think this is going to be off the chain. Cameron's attempting to revolutionize movie-making. The man does have a helluva track record:

i just saw aliens for the first time last night. it was pretty awesome, though i still think i prefer T2.
