CR and I had a really great game last night. I won 17-14 pretty much in the final minute. Completely defense oriented game, his TDs came on a 83 yard pass and 107 yard kick return. I had 4 FGs, 1 TD, 1 2 point conversion. It was intense.

I'm loving my secondary though, I could tell he was scared as hell to pass to either of his top 2 receivers. Aso and Revis ftw!

It seems my connection is working because I was able to complete my week 2 game in its entirety with out being kicked. Looks like the tricks I've been doin with my router worked.



Holy Crap my offense was on fire. I pretty much strictly been playing with the Raiders and it was tough as hell to get an offense going with them. With this team its almost not fair. We be chucking that ball all over the field. In only 3Qs cyber Cuter put up 459 and 6 TDs. Even Tavaris Jackson looked decent out there. Cyber Cutler is a freak!

CR and i agreed to the trade literally like 5 minutes after the draft was done, i guess thats why no one posted, sorry if this offended anyone. Cena's Boy and LV were in the chat as well and they didn't mention anything so I assumed it was all good.

I think Tokyoo was referring to the outrageous stats. 15 sacks(if you supersimmed you obviously had no control over that), 650 passing yards and 8 TDs, etc.. I know Tokyoo passed for like 350 yards and 4 TDs and was worried that people would think her stats were high. I expected some high scores, but damn....

This is a sim league, which means we'd like to see somewhat realistic stats. Not complete exploitation of the CPU, doing whatever it takes to win.

And I'm unaware that super simming can cause a 95 overall left tackle to give up 6 sacks, plus 9 others charged to other guys

lol I didn't have 15 sacks the cpu did when I simmed it. That was in the first game, that wasn't the Chief game. When I played my 2nd game I only had 1. LOL at getting all mad because I can't control the cpu.

- I pulled my starters in the 3rd Q after Cook's TD. 38 of my points came in the first half and cutler only threw 23 times total. In the 2nd half I was mostly running and throwing short passes, the only TD I scored in the 3rd was a long one by Cook after he broke a few tackles. Cutler only threw the ball like 5 times in the 2nd half.

- When I put Tjax in I wanted to see if he could run the offense, what throws he could make etc and that was only 1 drive. The other TD was on an int return

My score was 66-60. I had like 20 total rushing attempts. Outside of one long run, McNabb averaged like 4-5 yards per carry from me trying to run away from sacks (if you hadn't noticed, I had given up 4-5 of those). Knowshon Moreno was running the ball like a pussy, 2.3 YPC on 11 attempts. I wasn't going to just try pounding the ball when I needed a W and was able to move the ball better all around.

Josh Morgan had 6 receptions, Casey had like 4-6 as well. Moreno had some, Robiskie had a couple. 6-7 different guys each caught a football.

Maclin/Jackson are going to receive the majority of my receptions regardless. They're the top two WRs on my team. Any time I run a two or one WR set, they're the only wideouts on the field next to the TE's and Backs. It's not like I was throwing bomb after bomb or screen pass after screen pass. They both averaged under 16 YPC, didn't they? They were getting open in all area of the field because they're faster than most other players on it.

I'll be sure to avoid throwing to my open man next time.

What was I supposed to do? Put my backups in in a 6 point game? I was already 0-1.

Just check the stats against the Saints in the PP league (against a user). Brees threw for 583 yards against me. Did I expect him to just take a knee or not throw to Colston who had 9 receptions for 250 yards? No.

I play poor defense against Drew Brees just like Moz plays like a pussy against Brandon Jacobs. I can't control that.

Yeah, because a crazy game can never happen in the super-sim game of Madden, right?

So, the 0-4 Cowboys are quickly becoming the front runner for the #1 pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Usually, I would be pissed off about a start like this but with multiple seasons, who cares? It will be interesting to see if the same people dominate or will the crappy players like myself finally get it and reap the benefits of adding quality rookies to a team that might already be good? Either way, I'm having fun so far even though I'm not winning (in either league).

It looks really bad but I had all my back-ups in mid 3rd quarter(after Ryans final TD pass, which was a dump off on 3rd down and Cottam broke a bunch of tackles and scored) and I didn't run up the score. All of Ryans TDs came from short or medium passes that turned into huge gains except for Ginns 2nd one. In the 4th I had two huge runs for TDs by Goodson and Sproles. Everything went my way that game, everything I did worked.

He told me to finish against the CPU, but I didn't feel right taking a W against the computer when he was WINNING the game.

Feel free to Sim our game, so that it's more fair for Knight to potentially win the game still.

The 1-5-5 is widely considered an exploitation of the o-line, especially when you're dropping the one lineman back into coverage.. if the offense runs, all the guys are right there for the TFL because the oline doesnt do shit. If the offense passes, you've got 8 guys in coverage and 3 blitzing get through straight away because the oline's AI is killed
