AFTERMATH OF THE "VICK" TRADE

The New York Giants received a lot of skepticism after their huge trade to acquire Michael Vick and Michael Crabtree. But those on the outside did not know coach Xtreme's plan for his team. Later that week the Giants announced they had traded for veteran QB Byron Leftwich, and the plan started to come in to focus. Week 3 brought a road game against the Kansas City Chiefs. How would the team, and most importantly the new guys perform? Let us take a look.

Quarterback Byron Leftwich started Sunday's game, and he performed very well, going 9 for 10 passing for 227 yards and 2 TD's.

Michael Vick, who everyone wanted to see, came in to relieve Leftwich in spot appearances. He also did fantastic, going 7 for 8 for 89 yards and 2 TD's. He also scrambled 2 times for 51 yards.

Rookie WR Michael Crabtree looks like he fits in to his role perfectly. He had a huge day with 3 catches for 118 yards and a score.

The New York Giants won the game 45-23 , and hopefully have put the skeptics to rest. That is all for now, stay tuned for more next week.

Our D-Line still has plenty of bite without Osi.

I don't know if beating the Chiefs should be used as a benchmark. :D

I'm happy as hell to see Vick next week and not Eli or Osi
