Well the lions and redskins had an amazing game...the first half was all redskins as he jumped out to a 31-10 lead, my wr couldnt get open at all and his pass rush was making me get hit on almost every drop back...stafford was even hurt for 2 series and Brett Favre had to come in but went 1 for 1 with a TD pass! stafford ended up throwing 3 INTs and being held to under 300yrds for the first time...larry johnson could not be stopped and had about 15 broken tackles it seems like as he just plowed over my defense...i almost made a game of it late in the 4th quarter but stafford fumbled at the goalline with about 4min to play which could have pulled me within 7 with all my timeouts left...but i still did get it within 7 with 1min left but couldnt get the onsides kick...floridagatorfan was by far the best opponent i have played both skill wise and the way he played the game, i def had a blast even though i lost lol well next week cant get here soon enought as detriot will still have to wait to get a victory!!!

I was down 0-14 at halftime. It was 14-14 at start of fourth. He scored, I scored. Im about to score again, and after a play he quits. I don't know if this is because of lost to connection, or he turned off his 360 because he had to go as stated in another topic. Either way, I continued and scored to hold the cpu off.
I continued because the game was in the 4th, and we were tied. If it was in the 1st half, and we both had loss connection, we would restart the game.

Seahawks: 27
Bears: 21
This was one of the better games I've been a part of for a while. I know that's easy for me to say because I won, but either way it was pretty damn good. The Bears got up early with a quick score and then a pick six after the ball slipped right through T.J. Houshmandzadeh's hand in the endzone.
It was 21-7 Bears with less than a minute to go in the 2nd Quarter when Matt Hasselbeck connected with Devin Moore for a long TD pass and made it a game again. A quick Seattle score after the half tied it up and then the game turned into an epic - not to mention exhausting - 1/2 hour long defensive battle. I'd say there were about 7 or 8 punts between us, but in the midst of it all Seattle was able to grind out two field goals and hold Chicago the rest of the way.
Overall, Hasselbeck seemed to get back on track and my defense really stepped up. Hopefully this will be the spark we need to make a run in the division. Also, both teams played legit and ConchT played a great game.

Hey Tactical, I PM'ed Radie about our game. I kind of understand you interest in finishing the game, But I wish you wouldn't have. The reason I had left was due to a power outage that left me in the dark. We were in a HUGE storm. I asked Radie if he could reset our game, im not sure of he can really do it though. If he cant there's nothing I can or you can do about it. So congrats on your win / hopefully looking foward to the re-play.. lol

If you replay, do you know the score and the time left in the game. Also, where the ball was at when the disconnection occurred. If so it wouldn't be impossible to set it up where it was at during the disconnect. It wouldn't be convenient but at least it would be fair.

I don't think so...
I think if you're playing in a storm or something you should let your opponent know that you might D/C before hand that way its known..unfortunately I think you missed out on this one.

Yea I think it is final. I was more making this suggestion for future disconnects where this could be an option so there is no advantage or disadvantage to a disconnect.

Why were you playing during bad weather? You should have not taken the risk in the first place to start the game, if you had known that your power might be going out in the near future...

It was the only time I could play. I told you I wouldn't have been able to play until mon. My power hasnt gone out in 2 years. It was unexpected. and you driving to score means nothing. the game was 14-14. why would i quit in a tied game? Your attidute and unwillingness to play shows how un-sportsmanlike you actually are and I'm glad I don't need to play you again for at least 2 seasons.

Sucks that this happened but honestly its just 1 game, if it was in the 4th quarter i'd have to lean towards not replaying the game even if i was in the Dolphins shoes. He definately has the advantage if hes in scoring position anyone especially if it was a fairly defensive game. At any rate, dont worry too much its so early in the season and 1 game isnt that big of a deal, i had to sim my first week because my opponent never answered my msg's before i had to leave for vacation but then came on to play vs. the cpu. It sucked for me but not the end of the world, i'd recommend the same outlook for you, sucks that it happened but it is what it is. At any rate sorry to chime in as its not really my business but just wanted to try to help if i could.

Ravens over Browns 35-21. It was 21-21 with :40 seconds left on the clock but blown coverage allowed the Ravens to take the lead and an unfortunate interception off a tip allowed the Ravens to pull away with the lead.

well i hope by monday night at the latest...we need to stay on a solid schedule so we can figure out which owners are not active in completing games so they can be replaced...i think every thurs and sun we need to advance and games that are not finished get simmed(yes bad for the 1 person trying to get the game but put in backups so no star players get hurt) if the same owner misses 2 weeks in a row he gets replaced(unless he notifies that he is out of town) that way we can keep this thing moving...(the other leauge is advancing even though its a holiday weekend) just my opinion :)

To avoid the romo simulation injury, radie can turn injuries off before simming the game. Just a thought, but I agree we need to keep moving. If a team misses two consectutive games they should be booted. No one should be unavailible for a week straight. Just my opinion.

Broncos at Raiders
As expected, this did turn into quite a game. The Raiders jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead, but Orton connected with Stokely to take a 7-3 lead. But this would be the only lead that Denver would possess. Immediately, JaMarcus Russell threw a bomb for a TD. Kyle Orton then threw a pick 6 followed by another interception to make the Raiders go up 24-3. After a couple drives and some turnovers, Denver bounced back to go into halftime down 20-24. Denver got the ball to start the 2nd half, but couldn't get going. Oakland took a 34-20 lead. But, Kyle Orton connected with Brandon Marshall for an 80 yard touchdown. The Raiders were driving the ball very well, but fumbled in the endzone and Denver recovered. Denver drove down to the Oakland 13 yard line with 1:13 remaining and a chance to tie the game at 34. But Denver's hopes were dashed when Orton threw yet another pick to ultimately end the game.

Because I am a big sore loser, this is what I will say about the Packers vs. Rams game.
Great start for the Packers going 14-0 in the first 5 minutes of the game. After that it was all Rams who passed the ball very well to Steven Jackson throughout the game. Great job to the defense that held the run, and pass up the middle all 2nd half. Rodgers sucked again and threw 4 INTs with 2 returned, which costed me the game. Good job to the Rams and good luck the rest of the season.
Final: 37-27

That's what I was thinking. I was just saying I wanna get my game in. Im one of the people trying to avoid the drama. Communication is the key, I posted on here, sent a pm on here, and a message on xbox live with no response. Doesn't take long to send a quick message out of courtesy to your opponent to let them know when your available or when you want to play the game. He did post a message on here and I sent him back a message, for the record I am not mad at the Cardinals owner or bajagordon. I just don't appreciate being called out when I did what I was supposed to do in communicating. Thanks.

To add to Speeds recap I would also like to add that it was a very emotional game. I turned the ball over 6 times I believe (4 fumbles/2 INTs) and he turned it over 5 times (INTs). Would not be surprised if that was the sloppiest game that either of us has ever played. I am very much looking forward to our next game in the future. Good game my friend.

How sure are we on any of this? I can switch the injuries off, but I have no idea if what baja is saying is true. I will send a message to Ian Cummings and he has been surprising accesible, so maybe he will get back to me (he already answered a question I asked of him within an hour, then earlier today answered the Crabtree question on Pasta's site in like 12 seconds).
Anyway this is a lose/lose situation for me, either baja is correct and we have no way of preventing simmed injuries, or he is wrong and we dont have to worry about it anymore and I feel EXTRA guilty about the Romo situation.... Fun times being a commish. lol. grr

Hey guys, just wanted to weigh in for a moment. I definitely would like to see us move on to the next week tonight or tomorrow. But just a reminder to everyone, we advanced the week on a friday of a huge holiday weekend.
The is no reason for people to be annoyed at those who haven't been available to play their game yet, when it is only now 48 hours since the new week started. I understand week 2 went waay longer than it should have, but show a little patience. Let's just have fun here, get our games in, and progress as soon as week can.

Game Recap
Colts 10 at Cardinals 13
In a hard fought defensive struggle the Arizona Cardinals (2 - 1) escaped with the win sending the Indianapolis Colts to 0 - 3. The Colts jumped out to an early 7 - 0 lead on a 16 yard Peyton Manning to Dallas Clark touchdown pass. The Cardinals answered back with a 24 yard Neil Rackers field goal on their next possession. The score at the half was Indianapolis 7 Arizona 3. The Cardinals came out and scored on their first possession of the second half on a 11 yard Kurt Warner to Larry Fitzgerald touchdown pass. The teams exchanged field goals in the fourth quarter. The Cardinals sealed the win when Chike Okeafor intercepted a pass intended for Anthony Gonzalez to end the Indianapolis drive. Antoine Bethea had two interceptions for the Colts and Larry Fitzgerald was the player of the game.

Bills 28 -- Saints 0
Buffalo picked it up this week to obtain their first win of the season against the Saints. The Bills would get march down the field to put up the first points of the game and go up 7-0. Buffalo's defense would show some real life for the first time this season with acquiring J.Taylor, sending the Saints to a 3 and out and having a hard time with the run game and put a lot of pressure on D.Brees to perform while being pressure all game. The Saints didn't perform all bad making several trips down the field, missing a 37 yard FG and having a pick 6 from the 15 yard line. Brees would also feel the pressure late in the 4th with a fumble for a TD to put the Bills up to a final 28-0. The Saints made a final drive to put up some points but would be picked again to end the game. Overall GG
Unfortunately we got DC'd our first time, and had to restart and get the score correct, so we officially restarted at the same time in the 4th. I just recapped from our original game and added the last drive in our second try. I also lost D.Stroud for 10 weeks in our 2nd try in the 1st QTR, so that sucked :(
