Not to burst your bubble or anything, but that is still going to happen. I do think that this season will be up to par with the first season.

I am looking forward to this season. Something I noticed from the season trailer....
I think that they are gonna get rid of the actor that plays Nathan. They showed Sylar, but didn't show any scenes with Nathan in them. Besides, it wouldn't be Heroes without Sylar. Dude is bad ass.

I'm so fatigued by every time the producers have stated the show was being fixed, going back to its roots, ect. I'd be pleasantly surprised if they got it back on track but can't trust their promises anymore.

Man don't kill it yet, I know its going to do that shit, but like every season after the first I'm still holding out hope they will get it right. I mean with Entourage going to shit and Monk closing up shop this season, aside from House and Psyche I don't have much to watch on tv.

Watched the show since season 1, but I'm not watching it live tonight. Will probably check it out sometime this week on Hulu to see if it's any good, but after a disappointing 2nd and 3rd season, I figured I'd wait to hear some of the comments here.

I liked tonights episode. Didn't expect the way they are handling the Sylar situation right now. I have no idea what the new Villain is trying to do, but I am anxious to find out. Claire Bennett is stupid.

I agree, but since I haven't seen anything since the first season and I think they are on Season 4 now, I would be completely lost. Hell I didn't know he was a father till I seen the dvd in stores one day.
Think I'm mostly waiting on one of these new fall shows to impress me and Breaking Bad to return. Also I got It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for my comedy fix.
Anyways how was the episode tonight?

Don't read if you aren't caught up.
I liked Nathan as a character and I was shocked and somewhat upset at the end of the last season. While it looks like Syler is emerging, I also think that Hiro will go back in time and save Nathan.
It looks like Hiro is set on "Redemption" and will be traveling back in time to change a bunch of things.
I like "teabag" as an actor, I was glad to see him added to the show.

Agreed on everything mentioned. I will put my reply in spoiley tags.
While having Pete be able to go toe to toe with Sylar like in Season 1 in powers was a great thing. Having this chess game aspect of him only having a power at a time is kind of interesting. Not going to lie though, I was damn near expecting him to bust out some webs in the beginning of the episode.
Hiro to me has lost his luster a bit and I'm almost hoping they re-invent his character a bit or something like they did with Tracy or the chick that plays her.
And Teabag being in the show is a very very good thing, since Prison Break I have liked him in everything he's played in. However I do find his tat ability or whatever it is a bit lame.
ONE MOREEE THING!.... Was that Toad from X-Men playing the speedy knive guy?
Yup, that was him. Thank You! I couldn't remember where I knew him from, lol.
*Edit* Wow, I didn't realize he played Darth Maul.
Whewww!!!
Thank god for HULU!!

Thought it was a decent start to the season. Not a fan of Claire's storyline right now, especially either of the girls she interacted with. Both annoyed the shit out of me.
Sylar's still the best part of this show. Loved him and Parkman's scenes, and can't wait to see what they do regarding him and Nathan.

Was it just me, or did she subtly reveal the ability to quickly master something sans any prior training? I remember when her and Claire were playing Guitar Hero, she said, "I must be getting better every second," but, it seemed like they wanted to emphasize her saying that. Also, based on her being so highly inquisitive, that personality trait would tie in with a power that would allow one to master a non-super-human ability, or figure something out, with the snap of a finger.
Basically, think of it as a more innocent, poor man's version of Sylar's power and personality: instead of killing people and acquiring their powers, and having the hunger to acquire more power, she has the power to master non-special abilities, and that inquisitive nature allows her to be placed amongst different opportunities and "projects" to allow her to master more and more non-special abilities.
I could very well be reading too much into things, but, what do you guys think?

No, I've listened to people tell me how great it was in the first season, but I only thought a few episodes were decent, and the season one finale was a disaster. Since then the show has been a trainwreck, it's almost funny to watch it's so bad. It's like the writers are incapable of showing things, they instead have a character talk for 5 minutes and explain a situation. The season finale of last year was just sloppy and sometimes it seems like they have no idea what they want the show to be about.
Plus Tim Kring is a dick.

It's a good show... not for everyone I suppose, but it has it's moments. And if you've been watching it the whole time it's been on the air, it would be a waste to just give up on it. I'd say everyone still watching it has hope it returns to season 1 form, or at least wraps up nicely - and I think it will. Plus, there are some very interesting characters on the show, that definitely make you want to keep watching - anything with Sylar is good shit.
Plus Tim Kring is a dick.

Yeah, you guys have a point, but when a show gets terrible, sometimes it's just better to cut the cord. I finally had to do that with Entourage and Weeds this year. Weeds is a totally different show then when it started (and not for the better) and Entourage just feels like it has no idea what it's about anymore.
But if you enjoy the show, then I saw enjoy it. I'm not trying to take that away from you.

I wouldn't mind actually, It would be sad if H.R.G. or Peter had to go tho.
So...
It looks like Peter will be the one to go to the past and save Nathan. He only has the power of the person he last touched so that would be Hiro.
