Had an unreadable disc error and had to restart my game against the CPU. Was up 21-17 in the first half (had just thrown a pick 6). Proceeded to go down 21-7 in the first quarter of my restart game and had to struggle to beat the friggin Lions. Needless to say, my game needs a little work.
Question: Is it possible/easy to transfer your save data from one 360 to another- I have unreadable disc errors often and on a wide variety of games.

You need a memory guy, but yeah you can transfer your stuff easily with one which you can pick up anywhere, alternatively you can just pull off the hard drive and click it onto the other 360. If you want to move the data from a smaller HD to a bigger HD you can also use a transfer kit but you have to call MS for one of those, and they have started charging for them.
Depending on what you chose you might then need to recover your account, which is no big deal but can take 20 min or so.

Experienced the same errors myself recently - Enderz - advised me to clear my cache and it actually improved my system operation and I not gotten an error since then (knock on wood). Go to your memory tab and select "Y" for device options and then select "Clear your cache". The process is comparable to defragging your hard drive - the only relative thing it removes are ALL SOFTWARE updates - when can be quickly reinstalled when you load your game disc - 5-10 secs tops.
