Saw the first episode a month ago from there.
Great show, but Gris you didn't need to order SHO. Especially with a PS3. I just download and stream with TVersity.

Why do you use TVersity to stream? When I was showing my friend the show, I downloaded season 3 and streamed it through his PS3 by just locating the files on my computer through the network.

TVersity works a little better than using the regular Windows Media streaming plus it has options to stream other internet shows/movies.

I got $5 off , so it's only like $8 a month and we're gonna try to watch some movies and Californication as well.
Trying to avoid Blockbuster as much as I can... they just "forgot" to scan in two video games for me AGAIN (3rd time it's happened) so I got a charge of over $100 on my card... had to go in and straighten it out, and now I'm waiting for the funds to show up again - hoping they did it right.
So yeah, I'm hoping Showtime can fill some entertainment needs.
Weeds and Californication are both great also.
So, now that everyone is caught up, how sick was the ending? It sucked for me because I saw it so long ago. Can't wait 'till the next episode.

Did you actually watch it on Showtime? They showed a lot of good stuff coming up in the season.

Season 1 is great... you'll be hooked.
Yeah i started watching Dexter at the first season and i was so hooked. At least that you've started watching late Rouch, you don't have to wait a whole year for the next season coz that part is killer.

I loved the scene where she was about to shoot Dexter. It was intense because they made it seem like he got shot in the preview for this weeks episode. He really kept his cool and psyched her out.

Up until this Sunday I thought the season was fairly stale compared to most seasons. By far best episode of the season and can't wait to see how Dexter reacts.
I don't like to watch the previews, but my guess is he decides to break bad on trinity

The main storyline is great everything else though is so blah. Whenever they shift to the Laguerda/Angel or Quinn storyline its a snoozefest. Why don't they make a b storyline for Masuka? Mfer owns
The inevitable Dexter/Trinity showdown will no doubt be amazing

I think his storyline will pick up big time when he inevitibly gets suspicious of Dexter, which I think they've already started to hint at. I agree his little side stories have never been that great, but I've always been interested to see where they go with him... something tells me I won't be let down.

To me it seems like they're setting Dexter up for a finale if ya get what I'm saying. They're very much building up a storyline (imo) where he weighs in on whether he'd rather fight his dark passenger and focus on his family or just give in an keep on killing.

Still watching it. Most of the people I watch it with (we have a group that gets together every sunday for californication and dexter) believe it was actually anton who shot the two of em. Anyone else have any theories on that?

yeah, there are a few points that would support the theory.
- Deb wasn't killed.
- Anton, rather than Trinity would have a way of tracking down Lundy as Lundy is banned from the police station.
- It doesn't fit Trinity's MO at all.
- Anton said "I thought this is what you wanted."

Spoiler if you haven't seen the latest episode....
I don't think it could have been Anton... he was too surprised and looked pretty upset when Deb told him about her and Lundy.
However, I'm also not convinced it was Trinity - when Lundy was down after being shot, we see the killer lift Lundy's keys... but if it was Trinity, wouldn't he want the tape recorder too? He saw Lundy with it, and would have known it was on him. Why take the keys? He's also way too emotional about his kills to just randomly kill someone like that.

It was Trinity no doubt. He made it look like the Vacation Murders on purpose. Trinity is on point. They used that camera angle because they wanted to show the scene from Deb's point of view, not pull a twist on the audience.

I don't know... we've seen the Trinity killer before, so why not see him actually pull the trigger or walk up the Lundy and lift his keys? Instead the killer is left in the dark, and the door is open for a good twist. It's not the show's M.O. to not capitalize on that.

Like I said the scene was done from Deb's point of view which is why we didn't see his face. That was done for dramatic reasons not for plot. I think people are reading too much into this, my roommate said the same thing. If it was Anton or someone else they wouldn't have framed the murder, nor would they have done such a good job at it. The only way it isn't Trinity is if some unknown character is introduced soon and I really doubt that is the case.

exactly, and who's to say the vacation killers have actually been caught? And as far as Anton being surprised, if you killed him and shot her wouldn't you act surprised? Besides, he knew she was with him the whole time, he even said "I get a job here to be with you and you spend all of your time with your ex." Not to mention he isn't dumb, I think it's well within his capabilities to try and pin it on the vacation murderers. also, to be noted, every crazy person/killer in every season so far has been shown within episodes 2-4 atleast once.

I don't think Trinity killed Lundy. Why do you think Trinity bumped into Lundy in the open with a look on his face like he just came in his pants? He went out of his way to make himself known to Lundy for no reason. He could have just walked away without being seen. Trinity LOVES the thrill of almost getting caught by Lundy and having a counterpart. I think that was a great job they did in that scene to portray Trinity's emotions on Lundy and frankly I think it would be a disappointment if Trinity killed Lundy.

Yeah that last episode was crazy. Thanksgiving at Trinity's house was pretty epic. I suspected the reporter when they found out the person who shot Deb wasn't the right height to be Trinity. I love how on the previews for this show they always trick you into thinking what is going to happen.

Agreed, and sometimes because.. its just a little farfetched or silly.. but not in this series.. it always makes sense and blows your mind. this last episode was great.. all bringing it to a close.. cannot wait a week.

Borrowed the first three seasons of Dexter from a buddy and absolutely loved it. But I don't purchase the premium channels so I'm going to have to suck it up and buy the rest of the seasons. Never thought I'd be happy that a serial killer doesn't get caught and on top of that, feel good when he offs the people that need offing.
