Now that we know the ratings are out name 1 overrated and 1 underrated player. Shouldn't be too hard this year. Way to go EA [/sarcasm]


Overrated: Randy Moss 93 overall (can only run 2 routes, 10th rated WR FTL)

Underrated: Thomas Howard 82 LMAO

Overrated:Marcus McNeil. One good year gets you that elite Madden status with a 94?

Underrated:Keith Lewis. 72? Wow lmao. That's lower than last year,when he pretty much brought up our defense from the dead with big plays. And his hit power is lower than most safeties as is his tackling,lmao.

Overrated: Deangelo Hall - He gets beat way too often to be one of the games top corners.

Underrated: Amobi Okoye - I know hes a rookie, but a crapload of rookies drafted below him got a higher rating.

Overrated: Randy Moss, he's been living off his name for the past 5 seasons. He's worthless on anything but the deep ball.

Underrated: Brandon Moore, probably homer pick here but he was the Niners best defensive player last season and one of the more underrated LB's in the league IMO.

Oh yea, I completely forgot about that when all the 99 players were released. Definitely overrated.

Overrated - Justin Harell. I don't know his rating, but it's definitely going to be too high.

Underrated - Brett Favre. He's soooo awesome.

Underated: Kieth Lewis 55 hit power (wtf?) Do they not call him "the killer" for a reason?

Overrated: Marcus Trufant

He is not a 90+ player. He has the potential, but off his past preformances he is more like an 85. But he is switching sides this year which I think will help him, he's proven to be better on the other side but was forced to the other because of a hurt shoulder.

Underrated: Jordan Babineaux

Very underrated corner, comes up with big plays constantly, should emerge this year imo.

About time EA got Sean Locklear's rating right, however they gave Tom Ashworth to good of a rating.

I think he deserves a 98 or 97.

overrated - shawn merriman, phillip rivers

underrated - andre dyson, darelle revis' speed (89, thats bs considering he ran a 4.40)

Overrated - Warrick Dunn, After the long run aginst the giants in week 3 last year he did nothing

Underrated - David Pollack - I know he's hurt and may not play agian but 71 seems low

Underrated - Sean Jones there is no way 20 safties are better then him

I have yet to see any Chicago Bear ratings, or any ratings for that matter. But I am going to go ahead and say that they didn't give Kyle Orton enough credit. He should atleast be a 88 OVR. They are going to stiff him with a 84 probably. We need justice.

You know what's all kinds of wrong ---

Overrated - Shawn Merriman - 98 OVR

Underrated - DeMarcus Ware - 90 OVR

I could also add -

Sean Taylor - Hit Power 99

Roy Williams - Hit Power 98

Sure it's a point, but Taylor nails a punter in a Pro Bowl game and he's the man?

Maybe when Kyle Orton was at Purdue he deserved an 88 rating. Though, if he got the chance and the confidence of the coaches I think he could play just as well as Grossman. I don't think Nathan Vasher (92) should be rated higher than Mike Brown (90), injury and all.

Michael Koenen is way under rated and I'm loving Deangelo's rating though.
