I'm seeing crazy ass scores, should I turn the qtrs down to 9 minutes?

The crazy scores are only against the cpu, something just needs to be said about taking it easy
quarters are perfect for user games

Post your thoughts in the general discussion, I'm interested in knowing what you think needs to be said.

the jets will never score 73 points in real life and i wasnt even "trying", sanchez only had 227 yards before the last TD pass. my D just kept creating short fields but i'd opt for 10 min quarters, 15 sec acc clock

I'm with E
I doubt I have a problem keeping modest scores... :(

I know I put up a lot of points in my game, but I don't feel the quarters are too long(if you're going to change it I wouldn't lower it past 10 minute quarters). The CPU just sucks. It's hard to stop scoring when the CPU keeps gifting you INTs and as the game goes along your runs keep getting longer and longer. Next time I'll just make sure to start going down on my runs and punting and such. I'd rather put up a more realistic score than have amazing stats.

The status quo will be differnt than what people expect, but after a while the stats that equal average will just be higher. if the CPU is that bad, then 30 pts might be the new 14 in the legaue against CPU. Meaning the overall value of the stats dont' change, because bad teams still will struggle, and good teams still won't.
I don't remember what they are set at right now but 10min 15acc seems like a good balance for users/user and user/CPU.

Im with E I put up 60 and didnt really try. I ran the ball about 30+ times and pretty much dinked and dunked the whole game. I ran it pretty much all of the 4th quarter. Maybe its just the team was sorry and the better ones wont give you the ball so much.
Awesome - was I the only one not to kill the cpu. Lol

The CPU beat me by a TD so I must really suck at madden, lol That 11min Qtr. game seemed like the longest game I've ever played. At the half the score was 27-21, which to me seemed like it was already a whole game. I'd be happy with 8 min quarters max. What difficulty is the Franchise set on? All-Madden?

yeah. 11 min is too long. The game I played with Blaze took forever. 9 min would be much better, imo.

The consensus is that the user vs user games are taking long, how about 10 mins 15 second runoff?

I say 8 mins 15 second runoff.

Sadly for you, All Pro. I lost a few games on other OFs as well, so don't feel too bad lol
I say 9 min tops, ideally 8 min with a 15 sec run off.
