Yeah, it seems like there was a suddon spurt of people wanting teams after we waited almost a week to get any responses. I'll make a public waiting list that hopefully will get sticky'd and we can move down the list.

ok ill reinvite him...a couple owners have asked to switch teams and i am not going to allow that in midseason, if we have openings at the end of the year then a switch may be made...i have already contacted people about the Rams and Eagles openings and sent a message to the Bears owner that if he misses his game this week he will be booted

Welcome guys. I don't want to ruin the celebration Michael but the Vikings owner quit while he was playing with me so that spot is open again too.

He was respectful about it though and basically said he couldn't play without a QB (Tavaris Jackson has a 1.2 rating that game and his passes were way off).

I will take the Vikings if I can, but my 360 won't be back from repair until next week. If that poses a problem then someone else can take it.

Well obviously the new eagles owner has played and quit.

You need to screen these guys a little better before letting them in, this is the third one who has played, lost and quit shortly after. This one complains about a person we have in the league already, and the second to quit because of current owners being lame.

This is why I said we need to take these people ruining the game serious, because people don't want to play with that crap and will leave. It's time to do something about it or keep trying to find NEW owners because we refuse to discipline the ones we have.

Well, it seems the Texans guy has left.. why I dunno.

I guess people who cant take losses and as their playoffs drift away they choose to be poor sports and quit. Let's get some quality owners in here and call it a day. This is a PERFECT example of why I tried to enforce forum activity, because those who just randomly pop in and post are the ones who don't give a crap.

As for the vacant teams, I think we need to stop allowing people play CPU this late in the season and SIMS need to be added. Unfortunately we can't let the league depend on vacant teams being dominated by owners.

Someone really should contact him and let him know we didnt mean boot him permanently.

Edit: Also if your going to remove someone for a week to get their game in, it would also be imo would be wise to use another word besides boot, cause even when i first heard it i was like wtf would you boot him from the league. Just a thought.

I could care less if I was losing all my games to be perfectly fucking honest, Nawcor. I get upset over a loss not because I sit there and go "Man..Nawcor fuckin cheated me.. or coachw gltched...". I get pissed at myself because I sit there and go.. "fucking hell, why didn't I see the MLB on that play?! or "..way to fuckin' go Steve..don't fumble all game and one little hit costs us the game!"

I lose to the computer every now and then and I lose to other people in other franchises I'm a part of and don't really care.

What I do care about is people who want to assume one thing or the other and then act like a big man over the internet and bitch about "this is why we need active people!!" and treat this whole thing like its an actual fucking franchise and that if you win, you'll get a replica super bowl ring. Seriously..the "oh..I'm tired of this I have a life excuse" line is pathetic..especially when you use it to your advantage to not be booted because you're "active" in saying "well..I'm going on a trip..." or what-not and expect people to bend over backwards for you because of it.

As far as "..he knows the schedule.." uhm, really? Didn't you post in another thread about not knowing the schedule of advancement? How many times in this franchise has the date been pushed back to accomidate one person or the other due to activity thats less than mine or because life "came up"? Azure asked me when I could fit in a game and at the time, the only real available time for me to play was when I stated I could. Unlike some of you guys, I'm not going to sit around when I've got friends over to watch UT/OU and check out SvR 2010 and force them to watch me play Madden10 for an hour or so just so I can play a league game.

So yeah...sorry for you know, having a life and being responsible and sitting with my g/f in a waiting room then with her while she laid in a hospital bed. Sorry for having to hear that we potentially had a miscarriage and thru this they believe she has PCOS.

To those of you that sent me a PM or left a kind word, I thank you..hell, my g/f thanks you all too. To Michael, you seem to be doing a great job in handling things and like I said on XBL, good luck with everything.

i may look into it in the offseason if we have open teams but i am against it at this point cause so many teams have done trades that may or may not have worked out that its unfair for them to leave that behind and start with another roster...u should have to live with the trades u made and try and rebuild if u had a bad season but thats just my opinion

I think team transfers should definately NOT be allowed. You have full atonomy, especially with free agency, the draft, and trades to build a team the way you want to build it.

I agree with no team transfers as it creates a more real environment where we build our franchises. But there is also something about playing with your favorite team if the are open. I would love to play with my favorite team if they became available, it would add a whole new element to the Franchise......regardless if they've traded away some of the "core" guys.

man i think people need to understand.. in a 32 man league.. things arent gonna be all perfect.. especially year 1.. give it a chance.. things will get better..we will weave all the crap out..i mean god.. next year i think we need to limit trades.. like 3 trades a team.. because this first year was ridiculous how many trades were made... i think we should start giving tips for next season... this season is like an exhibition season.. just learning the league.. and its rules.. and gettin all the active players

I can agree about playing for your favorite team but like McNabb said, its not perfect. Im a 49er season ticket holder, i've been watching the niners since i was a kid in the mid 80s. To make matters worse we have the Panthers first round pick next year through a trade we made in this last draft, so im the team that im rooting against every week. But it is what it is, if you want your favorite player on your RL favorite team, trade for him. It just doesnt make sense for you to make trades for a team then go oh wait, ill leave and join another team! The ONLY way i would think this is a good idea is if it was two active players trading teams. Not someone switching to an unavailable team, i just foresee too many problems with someone fucking up a team then wanting to switch.

Just want to say that so far I am having a blast. I played a game against jmo and I know that this league has quality people.

I know what its like to run leagues and no I wont just quit just like that. Too old to be a quitter.lol

I think this league is well runned and I am happy im part of it.

The way things have been going the last week, I don't even know whose done what and just trying to stay active and keep on top of everyone has been a crazy mess. lol

Billing information recieved means the package was dropped off at a UPS center or scheduled for pickup. UPS is usually good at updating daily though...dunno whats going on with that big of a delay

Saints are open again.

After playing against the Bucs and Patriots (wow, it's easy to see why they're friends) - it's quite apparent that this is not a sim league at all. The Bucs owner abuses the fact that there is no flats coverage in this game (every SINGLE play - scramble and throw to HB) and the Pats owner is just as bad...I mean, have you seen how many times this guy has ran the ball? And moving 5 guys around on defense before the snap. No offense to anyone else in the league (except Tactical, you're a genuine douchebag, you can eat a dick), but I'd rather play in a league that enforces a little more realistic play out of its players.

aPc is right, theres so many horrible owners in here making this league look like garbage and we continue to let it slide. I'd be surprised if we make it through season 2.

ok first off dont use the words "so many" when u r refering to 2 and if u r talking about more than call them out...second to weigh in on this APC never sent me a message of complaint not on here or XBL about anybody and he removed me off his list of friends when i asked him why he quit W/O a response so that being said i am still aware of people in the past that have complained about dom and mcnabb but i havnt heard anything in sometime...maybe dom does throw into the flats alot but its not like he has peyton manning at QB he is using the rookie to build him up and u cant make throws of over 10+ yards with him in his defense so lets see what he can do next year after progression...still i would always like to remind to please MIX UP PLAY CALLING, Mcnabb and Dom still know they are on my radar along with a copule other owners and nawcor we will make it through season 2 and 3 if i have my way but the negative posts are not helping, lets be positive and try and work through things :) thanks

There are 5 teams open, but it might be a little boring for a while because we are in the last week of the season, then have playoffs, a draft, etc, so it might be a little while before anything of interest gets going.

why did you change the settings for the franchise to all-madden. Its been on All-Pro the entire season and now you took over as commish and changed it. Change it back please and then maybe the league can vote on it as a whole for season 2.
