Hey guys, the local EB Game's are holding their madden tournament here in Green Bay tomorrow (August 11th). I'm basically thinking up game plans and strategy for it as 1st place gets a free copy of madden.

I'm personally thinking of going one of two ways, one is with the Bronco's because of their corners + strong defense. I like their receiving core and TE, but my problem with the Broncos is their RB. Travis Henry, I'm not much of a power runner, I like elusiveness and speed, my strategy with them is overload blitz constantly and then shut down their offense then air it out on offense. When I say air it out, i don't mean aggressively, just take the short gains and advance with running on an occasional 1st down and all 3rd and short downs.

The other choice I'm thinking is the Ravens with their dominant D and above average corners, with the same strategy on D. Offense would be more of a pound game instead of throwing more, I'd probably run 60% and pass 40, of course the majority of passes to Heap, also I'd use the screen to the left occasionally, as their left side O-line is a wrecking crew.

Just wanted to hear any other strategy/team's I should be looking at.
I prefer to use quick teams with an excellent D, lets see, I don't use the 3-4 as my primary D because I haven't been able to utilize it as well as the 4-3 so a Defense like the Chargers wouldn't really work too well. Typically I ideally run 55% and pass 45%. Also, tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Out of those choices, I'd definitely go with Denver. From what we've heard Champ is a monster and will shut down one side of the field.

Best thing you could do is just go with what you're comfortable with. That'll give you the best chance of doing well. Trying to learn new stuff now probably won't work to well for ya.

You're in Green Bay and picking the Packers? Shame...

I'm probably the only person in Green Bay that isn't a huge packer fan. Well actually, I AM most definitely the only person. Which really is funny, because I do own part of the team. You all probably don't care but I'm bored, the reason why I'm not a packer fan is because I used to be a 49ers fan, in the days of Rice and Young. However I moved on the Ravens the year before they won the Superbowl, which is another funny story in itself, was watching a Ravens-Browns game on TV when I said to my friend, (the announcers were talking about how good Ray Lewis is) since Lewis is so good, if he intercepts the ball here I will be a Ravens fan forever, mind you I was young, lo-and-behold he intercepts the ball and I've been a fan ever since. Besides if I won with the packers then people might realize that the Packers are a very possible sleeper team (as long as they get their RB issues down).
