When the season ends it always seems like its going to be forever before the next one starts up. But then you get there and it doesn't feel like its been long at all.

Really excited to get football back again. I know there won't be much of the starters in the Hall of Fame game on Sunday but I'll still be watching. New Orleans vs Pittsburgh at 8ET/5PT on Sunday.

Got Minnesota and Oakland visiting here in the 3rd and 4th games. I figure I'll be going to the Vikings game but I'm not sure if I'll bother with the Raiders one. This is where you get ripped off for having season tickets, paying full price for pre-season games blows.

I can't wait for the pre-season to start! And you are right pasta, it always seems like it will take forever for the football to start back up, but now it hasn't seemed so long at all.

You will have to let me know how the Vikes did after you go to that pre-season game. I don't know if they will show the game on TV in my area. As of right now it just says TBD for TV here.

Also, off topic, but I almost decided to move to Seattle this year. My boss's brother does all of the photography for the Seahawks and football photography is my favorite. My boss says he gets to help shoot the Seahawks games when they come to Minneapolis and hopefully I'll get a chance the next time they come to MN. As for now I will continue to shoot college football, but an NFL game would be incredible.

I doubt the starters play more than 1 series in the HoF game. FWP won't play at all. I'm glad football is back but I'm not too much into preseason Besides my favorite team. I only really watch the preseasn for players on my FF watch

I might go see the Raiders game. If Russell signs and plays, it could be fun to see, but otherwise I'm not going to any pre-season games. Jerramy Stevens is gone, so there is no chance of witnessing a ball shot.

I agree with Pasta.

The offseason is far to long! It feels like it's going to be forever till the season starts back up, but before you know it the NFL Draft is here, and then Mini Camps and OTA. Finally training camp starts. Now we have preseason finally getting here.

One month, and we'll be playing some Football that counts.

Yep we get a week 1 opener at home for the first time since I think 2002. Get the Bucs coming in. I can't wait. Got my season ticket package about a week ago and that thing is like my baby lol.

I really think that Pre-Season should be shortened to 3 games.

I am a diehard Indy fan.....please don't hesitate to quiz me if you believe I am a bandwaggoner. Bandwaggoners don't nearly tear in the AFCCG...twice...with two different emotions (Once with the Samuel interception, once with the Marlin interception). :D

It'd be nice. I know they've talked about possibly doing that and then making the regular season 17 games. They'd never actually just drop a game though. Forcing these pre-season tickets on season ticket holders for full price they just make too much money.

I think they'd have to do it with 2 preseason and 18 regular season games. There would be too much of an uproar of some teams getting an extra home game while others have an extra road game unless they did the lame 17th game is on a neutral site outside the US idea.

The H.O.F. game is only on NFL Network:(.....which I used to have up until 4 weeks ago and Comcast decided to put it on their sports tier. I always watched the first qtr of this game in the past.

I can't believe they still have Bryant Gumble doing play-by-play. Simply horrible.

i didn't realize comcast took away the nfl access unless you pay money. wtf? I hate comcast. Apparently they don't offer Direct TV internet access in my area, so i may just move to DSL and get Direct TV still.

I know, Gumble is terrible. At least Collinsworth makes it somewhat bearable.

ahhhh, the thrill of boring preseason games that have no tie-in with your favorite team. Life cannot get any better!
