The newest one that you can use on Vista. So 11. I went and DLed this..

Codec Installation Package for Windows Media Player 7.1 or later

This package can be used as an alternative to automatically downloading Windows Media Codecs, or to correct problems experienced with previously-downloaded codecs.

But that didn't help either.

Their paychecks come from the state (pretty sure you go to a public university), so essentially all taxpayers are paying that professors paycheck.
