well, he damn near has to score 40 every night for the Lakers to win...Gasol and Bynum out leaves Kobe as the only consistent player on the team.

Artest had a great night last night against the Grizz but Lamar Odom went back to being Garbage Odom.

Consistency is their biggest problem right now...once Gasol and Bynum get healthy this team will hit on all cylinders.

It's to be expected dude. I'm kind of glad they are winning, they could easily be losing these games. How long can it continue though because I don't see the team really getting consistent until Gasol and Bynum are healthy. It's nice to see the "old" Kobe once in a while, no doubt.

In a couple of games he'll start a streak of fantastic play, then go back to playing like a scrub before he picks it up again.

Its been this way ever since he got here.

yea, I know...that's what I've always hated about his game. He makes you go "holy shit" with a 20/15/8 night then he follows it up with a 3 point game, 6 rebounds and 3 assist game.

consistently inconsistent.

Its amazing that on any given night kobe is great, but deep down inside you know he can elevate his play if the circumstances arent in a winning favor. He can reach down inside and play even better if he has to...that is greatness
