I just checked Gamestop's website, and it lists the game for the 360 as $34.99, instead of $39.99. Wonder if it will release at $5 less?

Interesting. I had noticed that the 360 version was missing the last couple days. Not sure what's going on now that its back with a different price. Since it specifically mentions "price drop" it could be intentional. Amazon has the PC version lowered in price now to $36.99 but the others still at $39.99.

I don't think one console version will be priced differently than the other. Either both 360 and PS3 are moving to that lower price or things are just mixed up right now. Not sure what to make of it yet.

No early copy. 2K only sends out early review copies to major media sites. Generally they would send a copy to anyone who is in on the prerelease conference call but the games dont arrive till a few days after release (which I end up buying them on the release day cause I'm not waiting around). Not surprisingly it looks like there wont even be that conference call happening for FOM. I can't remember the last 2K game that didn't have one which is a sign of how things are going.

I really need a baseball game to play, and this was actually the one I was looking forward to. MLB 2K was a joke the last two years, when the hell will EA get the license back? I could only dream about the awesomeness that would be MVP on 360.

Personally, I think it is a sign that my second xbox got the Ring of Death only a couple days before this game was to be released when I had planned on trying it out.

But Bartle, tell me what you think of the game when you get it. I know if you were to enjoy it I could probably like it as well.

I get that complaint, but how the hell can one release a demo to this type of game? This isn't a genre that you're going to grow to like, either you are a fan of this type of stuff, or you're not.
