Default UNFL IV San Francisco 49ers

The Draft:

Round 1

Larry Fitzgerald, WR

A great athlete. Tall, well built, with effortless speed. Can shield defenders on slants and out-jump them for deep balls. Hard worker who has become more effective as a route runner. Plucks the ball with his hands. Tracks the deep ball well.

Round 2

Ben Roethlisberger, QB

Great arm. Can make all the throws. Throws an accurate deep ball. Can make things happen when the play breaks down. Runs well and is hard to bring down.

Round 3

Steven Jackson, RB

Great power-speed-hands player. Can plow through tackles and run away from defenders in the open field. Catches the ball very well and runs great pass routes. Runs downhill and finishes. Has good vision and will wait for things to develop.

Round 4

Steve Smith, WR

Incredible speed and athleticism. Glides past defenders and can make them look silly with one move. Is too quick to jam at the line. Will power through tackles when he's determined to make a play. Will make circus catches.

Round 5

Shawne Merriman, LB

One of the best edge rushers in the NFL. Can beat most left tackles off the ball. Has several moves and can get inside his blocker. An effective point-of-attack defender because he slips tackles so well. Hits hard and will jar the ball loose.

Round 6

Adalius Thomas, LB

An elite, unusual athlete. Has rare size for a linebacker but runs as well as some safeties. Can line up all over the field. Causes mismatches when rushing the passer. Amazing coverage ability for a 270 pound man. Races around the field to make plays.

Round 7

Nate Clements, CB

Excellent pure cover corner. Can jam and redirect receivers, but also makes good reads when playing off them. Fundamentally sound in coverage.Breaks up a ton of passes. Tough and scrappy in run support

Round 8

Laron Landry, S

Exceptional talent. Has the speed and fluidity of a cornerback but hits like a strong safety. Covers a lot of ground. Has good hands and can make things happen after an interception.

Round 9

Joey Porter, LB

Very good pass rusher. Big hitter. Tenacious. Can control the point of attack and punish blockers and ballcarriers. Should benefit from a switch to the 3-4 defense, where he is most comfortable.

Round 10

Casey Hampton, NT

Takes up a lot of space. Commands a double team on every play. Battles from snap to whistle. Really gums things up in the middle and can collapse a pocket.

Round 11

Chris Samuels, OT

Exceptional pass protector. Has great quickness and balance. Never gives up the edge. A quick study who keeps improving. Has some power and can drive defenders when run blocking.

Round 12

Justin Smith, DE

Exceptional quickness and athleticism. Can beat most blockers to the edge and has the strength to make them pay when they are off balance. Pursues running plays away from him well and has a knack for sniffing out screens and misdirection.

Round 13

Vernon Carey, OT

An incredibly strong, massive individual. A quintessential drive blocker with a thick frame and exceptional lower-body strength. Overwhelms defenders at the point of attack. Gets a good punch. Can be an effective run blocker when he anchors and latches on. Uses his head and will get good position on his opponent. Moves and slides very well for a huge man and can get out to the second level.

Round 14

James Farrior, MLB

Very experienced. A good system fit. Stays at home, gets good position, and cleans up plays. Very solid in zone coverage. Plugs gaps well.

Round 15

Quintin Mikell, SS

Very tough and scrappy. Blitzes well and loves to mix it up. Has a special teams mentality. Reads and reacts well. Looks like Blaine Bishop at times.

Round 16

Shaun O'Hara, C

Has good speed, agility and technique. Can pull on screens and traps and is comfortable in space. Has the initial quickness to get in position. Takes good angles and reads defenses well; can pick up the blitz. Plays with a high motor and finishes blocks.

Round 17

John Henderson, DT/DE

Huge specimen, though not particularly thick. A rangy defensive tackle who pursues well. Can use his arms to keep blockers from locking on. Has great passrushing moves for a DT. Works hard and responds to coaching.

Round 18

Antoine Winfield, CB

Very tough defender who plays like he is three inches taller and 25 pounds heavier. Disrupts receivers at the line then rides their hip pockets. Can take away the short passing game by throwing receivers off their timing. Experienced and sound in zone cov

Round 19

Owen Daniels, TE

Very consistent. Always finds the soft spot in a zone. Works back for his quarterback. Good hands. Is fast enough to get deep.

Round 20

Le'Ron McClain, FB

A leader, a tough lead blocker, a scorer, and a runner. An all around dangerous fullback who loves the carries.

Round 21

Derrick Ward, RB

Solid all-purpose player. Runs low behind his pads and finishes well. Changes directions quickly. Decent receiver.

Round 22

Justin Blalock, OG

A mauling guard. Very good in all kind of protections, and he does it quietly. Versatile on the line, and allows big room for backs.

Round 23

Adam Carriker, DE

Carriker has the perfect size and skillset for the 3-4, and can kick inside to DT with four down linemen. He's very young, and a relentless player. He'll have a chance to start from day 1.

Round 24

Harvey Dahl, OG

Harvey Dahl is an awesome run blocker, and gets by with a ton of heart, a high motor, and a chip on his shoulder. He is a tough player.

Round 25

DeAngelo Hall, CB

Great athlete. Can make tough catches and do amazing things with the ball in his hands. Top return man. Has games where he stays in his receiver's hip pocket for 60 minutes and shuts down his side of the field.

Round 26

Steve Breaston, WR

A wise and elusive wideout with very capable hands. Has above-average vision to double-shift the secondary, both on specific routes and scrambling plays.

Round 27

Joe Staley, OT

Joe Staley is a very good blocker in both run and pass protection. He is a young leader who can play either tackle position. A lineman who gets better every year.

Round 28

Manny Lawson, OLB

Great initial quickness. Gets into the backfield quickly. Sound tackler. Can drop into coverage and doesn't make many mistakes.

Round 29

Darren Howard, DE

Very productive pass rusher who doesn't quit. Sheds blockers well. Has a feel for the game. A high-effort player who never gives up on a play.

Round 30

London Fletcher-Baker, MLB

A true playmaker. Reads plays, anticipates and puts himself in position to make tackles or break up passes. Still has good range. A gambler who often guesses right. A good pass rusher who times his blitz well and attacks the proper gap.

Lmao @ "deathly combo" and "spraying the ball all over the field on opposing UNFL defenses"

I'm pretty sure I got Adalius Thomas way late too back in the day. I had him for sure, I just can't remember where I picked him
