EA Sports has released a new trailer for NHL 15 which for the first time features gameplay footage from the Xbox One and PS4 version of the game. That the company put out the trailer prior to their press conference later today may mean NHL 15 will have little to no presence at the presentation...or they may just be getting a head start on things to come. Announced features so far include NBC broadcast presentation, new commentary team, and improved physics. ComplexEmbed.Application.initi...

The poor visuals particularly for a title that was built for the next-gen consoles, with players that often looked nothing like themselves, were a barrier of entry for many when it came to NBA Live 14. It was tough enough to justify buying Live over 2K14 considering everything else but when the graphics couldn't even compare that made the decision that much easier for consumers. Rather than talk about NBA Live 15 at E3 today - no matter what claims were made they would have been dismisse...

With E3 just days away now this clip from the latest Press Row Hangout centers discussion on expectations headed into the event. What news will be made for Madden NFL 15, NBA 2K15, FIFA 15, and others? Will there be any surprise announcements? Even the idea of a new football or baseball game are raised and whether hope of that is at all realistic. Last year EA appeared at the Microsoft press conference due to an exclusive content deal. That deal has since expired so it is unknown whether...

In the middle of the night I felt compelled to record some thoughts on the big news of Wednesday which had Microsoft backing off their insistence of restrictive DRM and an every 24 hour online check-in with the Xbox One. Many have asked now what console I would now recommend - and I somewhat address that in the video - but there is no clear cut answer to give. It becomes more about preferences. The smartest move would be to pre...

In a stunning policy reversal Microsoft has announced the Xbox One will no longer feature built-in DRM restrictions and a mandatory check-in online every 24 hours. Ever since the press conferences at E3 last week the company had taken a pounding in the media and with consumers while the PS4 dominated in pre-orders by taking its place as a perceived savior for gamers and the industry as a whole.
