Remember in the trailer for Iron Man 2 how Pepper Potts kissed the Iron Man helmet and tossed it off the plane for Tony Stark to retrieve on the way to making a grand entrance at the Stark Expo? $52 Million Opening Day for Iron Man 2
Iron Man 2 has made off with an estimated $52 million in its first day. That number includes the $7.5 million made from late Thursday midnight shows. The $52 million places it seventh on the list of highest opening day grosses. Based on these numbers the weekend take will likely finish right around $130 million. Yahoo! has posted up an exclusive clip from Iron Man 2. The clip is of an action scene where Tony Stark uses his new 'Iron Man' suit to take on 'Whiplash'. Paramount has released a new interactive Iron Man 2 trailer. Much of the footage is what we have already seen from the previous trailers. Two new Iron Man 2 T.V. spots have been released courtesy of TheMovieBox.net. Much of what is seen in both spots is footage revealed in previous trailers. We get a glimpse at "Iron Man's" new armor, "Nick Fury", "Black Widow", "War Machine" and "Whiplash". I thought the third spot was better than the second. AC/DC To Release ‘Iron Man 2′ Soundtrack
AC/DC announced that they will release the official soundtrack to the upcoming film, Iron Man 2, on April 19. "Shoot to Thrill", the first video from the AC/DC: Iron Man 2 album, was released earlier this week. ABC News is reporting that the soundtrack won't include any new tracks from the band, but 15 classic songs, including "Let There Be Rock," "Thunderstruck," and the recent "War Machine."
