The last group of picks in the Madden Mock Draft included some controversy over the Seahawks selection of Mark Sanchez. Ironically since then there have been developments which make it appear that Seattle is actually interested in taking Sanchez. It does make sense for the team as well as how it would benefit them in Madden. Continue on for the Raiders, Jaguars, and Packers choices and leave your thoughts in the comments. Remember this is more about what players would improve the teams th...

The first three selections in the 2009 Madden Mock Draft could well be the same ones chosen on NFL Draft day. However now is where the picks start to deviate from what the normal mocks out there are predicting. Remember this is not my mock of what I expect to go down on April 25th. Instead it is a look at the players teams might choose based on who would help them the most in Madden 10 and beyond. Picks 4-6 belong to the Seahawks, Browns, and Bengals. Continue on to view those selections ...

Something I enjoyed doing last year was the Madden Mock Draft. This is not a mock centered on who I believe the teams will end up selecting. I will be doing one of those closer to the draft. Instead it is about what player each team would draft in order to improve themselves the most in Madden 10. I base decisions primarily on projected ratings, team needs, importance of position, opportunity for impact, and potential ratings increases throughout the season. Every few days I'll be posting...

These final five picks concludes the Madden Mock Draft with only a recap of the entire mock still to come. With the exception of the 49ers all of these teams will go into the game next year as powerhouses. Despite that they can still capitalize on their picks and improve their status in Madden through them. (more…)...

The Titans, Seahawks, and Jaguars are now up in the Madden Mock Draft. Tennessee has several areas where they could use immediate help while the other two teams are pretty well set at the majority of positions but could use either an additional playmaker or some depth. (more…)...

The next three teams all made the playoffs last year but couldn't come away with a win. The Redskins can use help in a couple areas where potential choices would be able to contribute immediately. As to the Cowboys and Steelers their losses in free agency have left them with positions that need to be filled via the draft. (more…)...

Next up in the Madden Mock Draft is the Texans, Eagles, and Buccaneers. We are now at the point where more the teams are on the edge of playoff contention one way or the other. One player can make a big difference in how good they'll be in Madden this year. As you'll see the players picked for these three teams can do so. (more…)...

We've reached the mid-point in the Madden Mock Draft with picks 15 through 17. The Lions and Cardinals are constant underachievers that could make a move towards contention and the Vikings actually overachieved last year but still have some major weaknesses. Who will they select for Madden that could help them the most? (more…)...
