Madden 12 Ultimate Team Introduces Trades
EA Sports today announced new features for Madden Ultimate Team mode in Madden NFL 12. The ability to trade has been a highly sought after function by the community and has finally made it in with one-to-one swaps. There will also be "Legendary Packs" which include greats from the past. Walter Payton was a hot commodity last year in MUT and now players like Deion Sanders, Dan Marino, Marshall Faulk, Rod Woodson, Barry Sanders, and Lawrence Taylor will be available to acquire. Updates Coming to Madden Ultimate Team
Yesterday a few updates that will be rolling out for Madden 11's Madden Ultimate Team were laid out. It sounds as though they will be arriving in the patch that has been slated to be delivered around the start of the NFL's regular season. Amongst the updates is the ability to view the lineup of teams from the leaderboard, which is pretty neat if you're interested in seeing how other teams are shaped but without the ability to play friends in the mode not sure how many will care about that. ...

One of the most intriguing elements of Madden Ultimate Team is in finding particular cards, whether it be through auction, packs, or a special deal. Madden Ultimate Team First Impressions
EA Sports introduced the Ultimate Team idea with FIFA 09 and will be doing so again coming up for FIFA 10. However for Madden 10 the Ultimate Team mode is provided for free. This was a good move in that it allows everyone to try it out while on EA's end it increases the number of potential users who will be completing microtransactions to improve their teams. Madden Ultimate Team Now Available
The patch that adds in the free game mode Madden Ultimate Team has arrived for the 360 and PS3. When starting up Madden 10 the prompt to update will be given and after that the new menu option will be displayed in the game. Madden Ultimate Team Announced
Gamespot has a first look at Madden Ultimate Team which is similar in concept to FIFA Ultimate Team which released last year. This will be a downloadable update which will add the mode to the menu of the regular Madden 10 game. The FIFA version of Ultimate Team cost $10 however in a surprising move Madden Ultimate Team will be free.
