The patch mentioned last week for The Golf Club, which was already out on PC, has now gone live on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Unlike a few previous updates to the game this one is more about making tweaks and bug fixes than adding new features. The next major update is expected this spring and will include a Career mode. Though listed as "minor putting adjustments" the changes to that area of the game seem to be the most notable with some players really appreciating the changes ...

A seventh patch released today for EA Sports UFC that delivers the four fighters mentioned in yesterday's article. Anthony Johnson, Rafael dos Anjos, and Eddie Alvarez come in rated 92 overall while Holly Holm is 90. It weighs in at 1.15 GB. Additionally it's the fifth out of those seven patches to alter gameplay in some form or fashion. This one hasn't made sweeping changes to gameplay like some of the others but the three things mentioned continue to address the sense of imbalance that...

Normally a fourth patch for a game would signify impressive post-release support. That hasn't really been the case for NHL 15, as EA Sports has only done the bare minimum when considering the state they released the game in and the promises they made prior to then. It could be argued though they haven't even done that much given how poor and infrequent the roster updates have been. Features that have been added in post-release updates include Playoff Mode, Be a Pro Coach Feedback, Three S...

The runner-up for Best Post-Release Support in the 2014 Pastapadre Community Awards recently sent out another patch for the PC version which will soon come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Golf Club's Twitter account noted today that it has been submitted to Sony and Microsoft which means it should be expected to go live within the next two weeks. The patch isn't bringing in new features like some of the past ones have but instead is focused on bug fixes and adjustments based on ...
  • Second Patch for NBA 2K15 Finally Arrives on Xbox One

Over two weeks have passed since the second post-release patch for NBA 2K15 went out for PlayStation 4 and PC yet it took until today for it to make its way to the Xbox One. Communication was scarce over the period and the delay may suggest that it was actually rejected and resubmitted at some point or Microsoft simply has a huge backlog they're working through. 2K could have updated fans on its status but chose not to do so. Regardless now those on Xbox One who were frustrated over the p...

The latest patch for The Golf Club continues the excellent post-release support from HB Studios since arriving digitally for the consoles in August and even before that with the PC version. The patch went out late last night on both Xbox One and PS4 and it most notably includes the highly anticipated Handicap System, a new theme, and two new courses. Remember there are only a few days left to grab it for almost half off on PS4. ♦Handicap System ♦New Theme – Countryside ♦New G...
