    Another patch went live today for MLB The Show 17 weighing in at a light 47MB. Earlier updates to MLB 17¬†delivered continued¬†fixes for gameplay and presentation,¬†initial improvements to gameplay,¬†miscellaneous adjustments,¬†plus a few¬†online and uniform fixes.     Six weeks to the day after release and MLB The Show 17 has received its fourth patch. Online and server related issues are still plaguing it¬†but developers continue to drill down on improving other areas of the game.¬†Earlier updates to MLB 17¬†delivered some improvements to gameplay, miscellaneous adjustments,¬†plus a few¬†online and uniform fixes.     The third patch for MLB The Show 17 has gone live today. Earlier updates to the game delivered some improvements to gameplay¬†plus a few¬†online and uniform fixes. This latest patch does some more for gameplay along with implementing a variety of miscellaneous fixes.¬†The most notable changes include addressing the CPU pulling pitchers too early in Quick Count games and an adjustment to the success rate of bunting against the shift.¬† (more…)...
  • Details on MLB The Show 17’s second patch

    While a patch was quickly released for MLB The Show 17 two weeks ago it only affected a couple issues related to online play and corrected the Tigers road uniforms. The latest patch, which went out this morning, impacts a whole lot more. Among the most notable changes are a reduction to opposite field power, improvements to the catcher's blocking ability, and a fix for the CPU pulling starting pitchers too early. (more…)...

    The first post-release update for MLB The Show 17 went live this morning and among the work that's been done are fixes to online gameplay and names added to the back of the road uniforms for the Detroit Tigers.     It's late in the season to be getting patches but another has just landed for NBA 2K17. As the 10th patch of substance for the game this one is primarily focused on improving gameplay. 2K17 has suffered from some gameplay issues including serious problems with defensive AI that were never really addressed through the post-release support until now.     A significant patch went out today for Disc Jam which fulfills the promise of full stat tracking, along with skill ratings and skill-based matchmaking, some new flags, and gameplay adjustments.
