    Just over a month out from release and NHL 14 has received its first patch. It should be applied now upon start up of the game on both the Xbox 360 and PS3.   • NBA 2K14 Patch Addresses VC Exploits

    The first patch was released today for NBA 2K14 and introduces a fix for at least one issue that had been discovered since the game released early this month. Essentially saving a game late in the fourth quarter allowed for users to load up the save and take the VC winnings only to come right back and be able to do so from the same late-game situation over and over.   • Second FIFA 14 Patch Coming This Week

    Another patch for FIFA 14 is expected to arrive this week for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 and is already available on the PC. Unlike the first, which was limited to fixing a few issues identified prior to the game releasing, this update takes into consideration consumer feedback since then.   • First Patch Out Now for FIFA 14

    EA Sports released a relatively minor patch today for FIFA 14 that addresses some general stability issues and delivers a few fixes to game modes including the Skill Games and Creation Centre. Those items were identified early on allowing them to be included in a patch made available just a day after the game came out. Work continues on other areas including gameplay for the next patch.     EA Sports today had the first post-release patch for NCAA Football 14 go live on the Xbox 360 and PS3. The list of fixes provided by the company is not expansive - there was more done than just what is mentioned here - but these are the primary issues addressed.  (more…)...

    With the Madden NFL 25 demo releasing earlier this week one bug of great concern has stood out from others in significance and rate of occurrence. Many gamers on the PS3 in particular have experienced players disappearing on the field leaving only their shadows visible.   • Update Adds New Features to OOTP 14

    A new update has been released for Out of the Park Baseball 14 that adds a numbers of features and fixes some issues for the PC management sim. In order to receive the changes the new setup file has to be downloaded and installed over the current installation.  (more…)...
  • Date Set for Tiger Woods 14 Patch Release on PS3 as 360 Side Falls Behind

    The status of the comprehensive patch for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 - detailed earlier with primary notes on changes to expect - has been updated by EA Sports. The patch cleared certification by Sony and will arrive for the PS3 on Monday the 29th. Microsoft however found a bug in the patch and returned it to EA to fix.     In a post on the official forums for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 producer Sean Wilson has confirmed that the first significant patch for the game was set for submission to first party certification late this week. Generally once in the hands of Microsoft and Sony the process takes 10-14 days. It's possible that it could be out next week but far more likely to be the week after.     A huge benefit to being first party means getting propelled to the front of the line in the patch certification process and not having to pay a significant fee for more after completing the first two free ones.
