NHL 10 Patch Details
EA Sports has released the full list of details on what the upcoming patch for NHL 10 will include. The game has faced some scattered criticism over freezes, online performance, Be a GM mode, and the downloadable content boosts but has largely been well received otherwise. The patch is expected to release by November 5th though there is no guarantee as it ultimately is dependent on the certification process. With fundamental flaws such as poor framerate, online play still not even completely functional, and glitches in My Player mode this is a highly anticipated patch. Latest Update on Madden 10 Patch #2
One thing constantly being requested is info regarding the upcoming patch for Madden 10, so here is the latest. Per Ian Cummings on Twitter the second patch is still being worked on. It appears they are attempting to get as much into this patch as possible and as such it has still not been submitted to MS or Sony for certification. NBA Live 10 Patch Release Plans
NBA Live 10's lead gameplay designer Mike Wang has mentioned plans for the first patch on Twitter. The patch is slated to release the first week of November. In order to meet that timetable it will probably be submitted for certification by the end of next week. In an unexpected development EA Sports has released a third patch for NCAA Football 10. It is rare to see more than two patches released for any game because Microsoft and Sony charge a significant sum for each patch after the first two. After the release of the first patch for Madden 10 it was discovered that a few problems had come out of it. I've received numerous emails regarding some specific oddities being seen however have yet to see anything along those lines myself.
