The always popular player face comparisons are back! It's unfortunate that there are so few opportunities to do these type of things due to the lack of competition in sports gaming. However with both EA Sports and 2K Sports touting their respective face scanning procedures NBA 2K15 vs NBA Live 15 should make for a good one. All captures were made through the same process to ensure even ground and there will be 30 faces total put on display. The majority are well known players along with a...
  • What Has Your Experience Been Thus Far With NBA 2K15?

NBA 2K15 has been out for nearly a week now and there's a lot it does exceptionally well. Unfortunately it is also hampered by widespread server problems that affect nearly the whole game not just online modes and other issues like many have had with the face scanning feature. The experience then will vary from person to person depending on where time is being spent. There's a big difference for those playing the offline MyLeague mode vs those who bought the game to play MyTeam or MyPark ...

Unlike most sports games as of late a lot of work has gone into the modes of NBA 2K15. While it appears it'll release in a couple days without having gameplay improvements detailed, which is certainly unusual, there is no shortage of content to anticipated in the product. Whether it's the addition of MyLeague, new storyline for MyCareer and face-scanning for your MyPlayer, changes to MyGM, additions to MyTeam, expansion of The Park, or simply the pulling back of the influence Virtual C...
  • Your Thoughts on the FIFA 15 Demo

After an unexplained delay in getting out for PS4 the FIFA 15 demo is now available on all platforms. It released Monday night on Xbox One, Tuesday for 360/PS3/PC, and Wednesday on PS4. It features eight clubs with matches set to four minute halves and some pre-set squads to use in feeling out Ultimate Team. The FIFA 15 demo has left the strongest impression on me since the UFC 2009 demo. So much was seen and felt, in such a condensed period of time, that the game shined in a way that isn...

  • What Game Moved Anticipation Wise Up or Down Most From E3 Showings?

In what was a relatively uneventful E3, EA Sports pushed its slate of upcoming titles by focusing mostly on the fundamentals instead of hyperbole. Madden NFL 15, FIFA 15, NHL 15, and PGA Tour all debuted new trailers, appeared at the Electronic Arts press conference, and had additional feature details released. Madden went heavy on defense accompanied by some gimmicky visual indicators and new cameras. There was also info on aspects like QB accuracy finally mattering and long overdue pres...
