    The 12th and final category in the annual Pastapadre Community Awards is the big one - Sports Game of the Year. A variety of franchises have won the award in the past including Madden, FIFA and The Show but the last two years have gone to NBA 2K. The 2016 field is strong, with no clear standout, and arguments able to be made for and against each one of the nominees.     Every year new modes are added to sports games or features introduced to enhance enjoyment of the ones being carried over. The second-to-last category to open up in the annual Pastapadre Community Awards is for Best New Feature.     Only a few categories remain to be opened in the annual Pastapadre Community Awards and the latest to do so goes to the best of the sports games that either made their debut in 2016 or don't release on an annual schedule. EA Sports has undoubtedly provided the gold standard of post-release support for many of their licensed games over the years.
