Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming animated television show Tron: Uprising. The series takes place during the time when CLU takes over the grid and Flynn flees to the safe house. Tron: Legacy DVD to Include Teaser for Sequel
A sequel to Tron: Legacy has only been rumored at this point but that isn't stopping Disney from including a tease for it on the DVD/Blu-ray release. Three scenes were reportedly shot back in November to comprise a trailer of sorts to be included amongst the special features. Despite a mixed response from audiences and unspectacular box office results, Disney may be set to green light a sequel to Tron: Legacy. As a sequel to the 1982 film, marketing as of late has downplayed the "Legacy" portion of the Tron: Legacy title in ads. The original also has not been re-released on DVD or gotten a Blu-ray release.
