    With EA Sports UFC 2 out now through EA Access and only a matter of a few days from officially releasing, work is being done on the official review which will go up Monday morning.     Earlier this week on the Press Row Podcast two NBA 2K gameplay developers joined the show to discuss the development challenge that Stephen Curry has become for prestigious video game series. Curry hasn't relented since and on Wednesday night made another absurd shot from beyond half-court. He's now shooting 68% on shots from 28-50 feet out.     With EA Sports UFC 2 out now with the trial through EA Access, areas of the game that were unreachable in last month's beta can now be played. One of those is the new KO Mode, which offers up the appeal of staying on the feet and brawling for a finish. What it also provides is an opportunity to see a wide variety of knockouts with the new physics in place.     While the basic descriptions were leaked through retail channels earlier, SCEA has now gone further into detail on the two new ways to play that will be found in MLB The Show 16's Diamond Dynasty Mode: Battle Royale and Conquest. Battle Royale adapts the concept found with Draft Champions in Madden NFL 16 and FUT Draft in FIFA 16. The online head-to-head games are played with teams that have been drafted.   • MLB The Show 16 Franchise Mode Stream

    The latest stream for MLB The Show 16 has gone through what's new for Franchise Mode which was first detailed earlier this week. It's by far the shortest of the streams that have been held by the development team on a particular subject, but probably natural given that the improvements are related to statistics and player morale. One new disappointing note is that none of the changes to Franchise will be found in Online Franchise.  (more…)...

    Just recently announced, Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 will be releasing next Wednesday, March 9. The game will be available as a digital download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC for $50. Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 is the product of a crowdfunding campaign that took place in 2014. Carlo Sunseri, CEO of Crosse Studios who co-developed the game with Big Ant Studios, has a long history of being involved with the development of lacrosse games including some very well received ones on Xbox 360. ...

    The cycle through all the improvements and additions to MLB The Show 16 continues this week having finally reached Franchise Mode. Stat tracking now includes more categories, such as WAR and FIP, and are kept throughout the careers of the players. Player Morale and personality will affect performance, preferences are in place for free agents when considering contracts from teams, and there are new screens for contract negotiations and the breakdown of the budget.
