In a surprise development free agent pitcher Cliff Lee has spurned both the Yankees and the Rangers and has signed with the Philadelphia Phillies. Lee played part of 2009 with the team helping lead them to the World Series and then was traded away in the offseason to make room for Roy Halladay. One year later and he will be joining him there. Reportedly it is a five year deal for considerably less money than he would have gotten with other offers on the table.

Certainly this news will have huge impact on MLB 11: The Show and MLB 2K11. The Phillies now are shaping up to be the most popular team with a rotation unmatched in all of baseball. Lee will be joined by Halladay, Roy Oswalt, and Cole Hamels as the top four starters. Continue on for more screenshots with Cliff Lee playing for the Phillies and leave your thoughts in the comments!
