Fight Night Champion Patch A Ways Off

Those eagerly awaiting a patch for Fight Night Champion have a significant wait ahead. Today it was posted in the official FNC forums that a patch can be expected to release “sometime in the next few months”. I tend to think that was just worded poorly or the statement was made in an attempt to lower expectations and a patch would more likely be coming in the 4-6 week range.

Thankfully the series added the ability to deliver “Tuning Updates” which can be pushed out at any time without being required to go through an approval process (similar to how roster updates are handled). The changes that “tuners” provide are generally limited to gameplay adjustments rather than outright fixes. Patches are equipped to handle the more serious issues and enact significant changes instead.
